    Look at this article

There are barely 20 years ago, everyone laughed at the hybrid cars. The Toyota Prius was seen as a spaceship, and already, at the time, poking fun at his performance anemic.

Two decades later, the hybrid engine has come a long way. So well that manufacturers of renowned as Porsche and McLaren have been using to build their vehicles more efficient, the 918 Spyder and the P1.

Even Ferrari wasn’t able to resist the temptation. The model the most powerful of its history, the famous LaFerrari, which is powered by a V12 paired to a… electric motor.

And in the words of Ferrari, it’s just the beginning. As of next year, the manufacturer from Maranello will sell at least one model that will be equipped with a V8 hybrid.

At least that is what has advanced Sergio Marchionne, boss of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, in an interview with the English publication Auto Express. “A Ferrari hybrid V8 engine, will arrive in 2019. The test vehicles are already there.”

Ferrari has not confirmed which model will receive the new engine, but Auto Express suggests that the future SUV of the brand could very well be part of the list of candidates.

We’ll know certainly more in the next few months.
