While NOS4A2 has just unveiled its first teaser, Netflix grabs to turn a series of Joe Hill.

With the proliferation of his original productions, especially at the level of the series, Netflix dominates, undeniably, the global market of SVoD.

This is why there has really not been surprised to learn that the red giant had just won the rights to adaptations of the new Joe Hill, while the news itself, Faun, is not yet published. It will be published by Lawrence Block current 2019 in a collection of novels At Home in the Dark.

The more knowledgeable will remember certainly for the Horns. Released in 2014, this feature film from Alexandre Aja (adapted from the novel Horns of the author) mixed horror and romantic. And it would seem that we find the leg of Joe Hill, son of Stephen King, who likes to play with the fragile frontier between real and supernatural.

In any case, the pitch suggests a narrative as enigmatic as unreal :

“Narnia. Hogwarts. The imaginary Country. All the magic places where mortals can travel and marvel at the creatures and oddities that we have never seen in our world.

And if there was a door to a magical land and that, instead of adventures, pure, a man is given the possibility to pay a fortune for a reserve game private exclusive where you can “bag” a magical creature.

The multimillion-dollar Tip Fallows hunting recreation research challenges increasingly interesting. Another rich hunter, Stockton, has a secret to share, and a trip to offer. They only need to pay $ 250,000 to pass through a small door in an old house in the countryside of Maine.

We see a film of supernatural adventure that brings a new magical approach to The Most Dangerous Game [editor’s note : The Hunting of count Zaroff in French] ”

This is Jeremy Slater, who will write the script. Michael Sugar (Spotlight) and Ashley Zalta will be in the production. And, from this information, we do not know more for the moment. But for us to wait, the series The Umbrella Academy by Jeremy Slater (writer) will be available from 15 February on Netflix !
