Depending on the versions, two batteries will be proposed to animate this electric vehicle. The first, with about 39.2 kWh, would allow a range of 299 miles, while the second, a battery, a most imposing of 64 kWh, would allow the Kona to travel up to 470 kilometres in one charge. Note that these autonomies announced are based on the european tests, which are often more generous than those made in North America.

Hyundai has announced that the Kona electric will be marketed in Europe, but it has not yet confirmed that this variant will make the jump to North America.
