    After Paris the sides of the Cirque Éloize, Just for laughs, turns to Australia. Thanks to a new agreement with the company Strut & Fret Production House, the company of Gilbert Rozon plans to expand its activities on the australian continent in the very near future.

    The two companies already collaborate on for the Festival Kermezzoo in Brussels and the show “Limbo” presented at the Montreal Casino will be including in their collective catalogs, a-t we learned Tuesday. Thus, the festivals organized by Just for laughs will be able to enhance their programming with new creations as the troops carried by Strut & Fret will have access to different places to show off their talent.

    “By building on the reputation of the trade mark Just for laughs and on the creative power of my friend Scott [Maidment, founding president and artistic director of Strut & Fret] we are going to create a true powerhouse of creation and dissemination in the field of entertainment,” said Gilbert Rozon, in a news release.

    “This collaboration is part of a long-term vision and an ambitious partnership and stimulating, is delighted for his part, Scott Maidment, whose company produces the largest festival in Australia, The Garden of Unearthy Delights, in which 800 000 people participated in 2017.

    On stage, the combined activities of Just for laughs and Strut & Fret allow the creation of more than 20 festivals and annual events. On the small screen, they offer an offering on television in 130 countries.

    In the City of Light

    With this expanded collaboration, Gilbert Rozon and his group continue their offensive international. Last month, they agreed for five years (combined with a possible renewal of five years with Cirque Éloize in order to present shows in Paris. This recent partnership will also the creation of the Theatre of the 13th ART, located in the 13th district of the City of Light.

    By the same opportunity, Just for laughs wants to allow comedians, magicians, actors or even clowns to launch their career in France.
