I Am The Night reveals a little of his sinister plot in his new trailer.

Plant decor around the bloody case of the black Dahlia is not a trivial matter, but Patty Jenkins seems to be ready to meet the challenge.

Fauna Hodel, worn by India Eisley, was abandoned at birth, in 1949. Wanting to discover who she is and where she came from, her investigation will lead her on the road to Dr. George Hodel, a gynecologist actor of debauchery the depths of Hollywood. It would seem that the young girl finds support with the journalist, Jay Singletary in the discovery of the secrets of his past.

It is not great shape

With I Am The Night, we witness the meeting of the duo Chris Pine and Patty Jenkins (who had worked on Wonder Woman). If the film maker attends to, in part of the achievement, the writing of the series has been entrusted to Chris Pine and Sam Sheridan, a former reporter for the Navy, which has sought to make burst the truth of the scandal of the black Dahlia to the big day.

The case of the black Dahlia refers to the gruesome murder and non-elucidated of the young Elizabeth Short. Dead at the age of 22, his crime has caused much ink to flow, and raised many theories. The fact that George Hodel a serial killer gynecologist. It is the one that seems to repeat the mini-series as shown in the new trailer.

The mood of the series seems less marked by the cinema of the 40s as The black Dahlia Brian de Palma released in 2006. On the other hand, she bathes much more in his true history. An atmosphere of smooth, inquiètante, sometimes quirky breaks away from this new trailer. We recognize, moreover, the leg of Patty Jenkins, who infuses the image of a great modernity.

Between various chilling and series of surreal and troubling, we look forward to discover how the director picks up the one of the most infamous of Hollywood. I Am The Night is expected in January 2019 in the United States. The mini-series will include six episodes.

A small ice for the viewing ?
