If you have a little bit tired of all these horror movies that come out nowadays that are alike as two drops of blood, look to the past, and the beginning of the 80’s in particular. You may have beautiful sacred surprises.

Not because it’s good, the Conjuring , and other Insidious, it is a pleasant five minutes, but it will never be worth the big flippes that we paid in the 80’s when we were young and innocent. And among these beads, there is one who remains always in our hearts : Creepshow.

Aaaaah Creepshow…

Released in 1983 from the spirit deviant of George A. Romero and Stephen King, Creepshow was a movie skit in the tradition of EC Comics, these comic books of horror, which we were later given the legendary Tales from the crypt. The first film was a huge success with the skits well nerds and scary, but always done with love.

Logically, a second opus was released in 1987, without the duo star, which is less effective but still nice. We will deliberately silent on Creepshow 3 was released in 2006 video, big fucking opportunistic produced by Taurus Entertainment, which was satisfied just return the name for us is “providing” a parade of nonsense very irritating.

Stephen King was like a small concern. One of the best moments of the first film

In short, it’s been over 30 years that we were waiting for good news and it comes to us without waiting. Entertainment Weekly is announcing that a tv series Creepshow would soon see the light of day, with exclusive use of the digital platform Shudder. Here’s where it gets interesting is that it is Greg Nicotero, a master of special effects and executive producer of The Walking Dead, which will take care of it. And it will clear things in hand since the announcement for the positions of executive producer, supervisor of creative elements and as a director.

As you might expect, the series will be a horror anthology , where each episode will be directed by a director with a stage that is different and telling us each time with a independent history. Scheduled for 2019, the series doesn’t say much more for the time being, it is hoped that it will unveil more at the next Comic-Con, but what is certain is that we will monitor this project very, very closely.

For those who want to know, here it is, Creepshow 3, it looks like this
