Felix of Luxembourg and Claire have their little prince and reveal his name

The second child of Princess Claire and Prince Felix of Luxembourg came into the world on November 28, 2016. It took a good week at the grand ducal family to decide to disclose the name of the newcomer to the Luxembourg Court. And it’s called … Prince Liam Henry Hartmut Nassau. The name of the new prince of Luxembourg is finally known. Indeed, a little over a week after his birth, the Grand Ducal family announced this Tuesday, December 6 he was called Liam Henry Hartmut. He is the son of Prince Felix (himself the son of Grand Duke Henri) and his wife Princess Claire.
Born Monday in Geneva, Switzerland, Liam Henry is the second child of the couple. Their first child, the Princess Amalia, was born June 15, 2014 , in Luxembourg City. Note that the baby carrier, after his name, those of his two grandfathers. Henry is the first name of the Grand Duke while Hartmut is the name carried by the father of Princess Claire.
This announcement was made by the Court of Luxembourg itself which in addition to disclose the name of the second child of Princess Claire and Prince Felix, published on its website several pictures of the happy family . The pregnancy of Princess Claire had been announced by the Grand Ducal Court of Luxembourg in June , which, for the occasion, had split an official statement: ” Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess great joy to announce that Prince Felix and Princess Claire expecting their second child . The birth is scheduled for the fall. ”
Prince Felix married Claire Lademacher at weddings celebrated in the Sainte-Marie-Madeleine basilica of Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte- Baume , France, September 21, 2013, in the wake of their civil union in Königstein (Germany) . Installed in Provence, Chateau Les Crostes (Var), they run the operation, they had met in the early 2000s during their common studies at the International Alpine College Beau Soleil in Villars-sur-Ollon Switzerland .
