Netflix is probably what happened better to the japanese animation on tv, but it may also be his worst enemy. Because this impacts the productions in the sense that, now, they are appealing to the entire world and in a certain format where, before, the question was less.

Yet, when we see the impressionnnant catalog of japanese animation offered by Netflix, one cannot help thinking that it is a chance and opportunity for this medium to evolve with the times. In addition to recover a lot of titles mythical, the network also launches in the production of animated exclusive ressucitant some very big licenses such as the lively Saint Seiya : Knights of The Zodiac that it will air in the summer of 2019 and makes us still a lot of freaking out.

But today we learn that another title legendary japanimation will make its return on Netflix in an exclusive program as the group has revealed on his Twitter account the construction of an all-new series Ghost in the shell. For the moment, we do not know much about it, if it is not that it will be called Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045, as you can already guess to be a new iteration of the saga Ghost in the shell – Stand alone complex.

The series will be produced by Kenji Kamiyama (Stand Alone Complex) and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed) and is expected to arrive on our screens in 2020. With Araki in the team, so we can assume that it will also be in 3D. We meet so fingers for it to be of quality and that she may make us definitely forget the live version output in 2017. Because the wound is still open.
