Thursday, 25 January, many celebrities were at the ” diner de la mode “, an annual event organized for the fight against AIDS. Because of an operation, the vice-president of Sidaction, Line Renaud, was unfortunately absent.

Created in January 2003 by the French Federation of Couture and Sidaction, the “Diner de la mode” aims to raise donations to fight the disease. An evening which every year brings together hundreds of figures from the policy world, of fashion, media, film or music again. For nearly eighteen years, this event is a must-attend event to close out Paris Fashion Week. And this year, celebrities did not hesitate to make the trip. This is the case of Nathalie Baye, smiling despite the sorrow of having lost her ex-husband Johnny Hallyday, Agnès Buzyn and Françoise Nyssen, the ministers of Health and Culture, Pascal Obispo and his wife Julie Hantson, Etienne Daho, Jean-Paul Gaultier or even Jack Lang and Isabelle Huppert.

Unfortunately and due to a surgical operation, Line Renaud – vice-president of Sidaction – was absent this evening. In early January, she had appeared with a splint on the leg to the premiere of the film “La ch’tite family” after a sprained ankle. Thursday, 25 January, however, she wished to thank the participants and especially to pay tribute through a video to Pierre Bergé, the co-founder of the association died last September : “I promised Peter, my brother in arms, do not let go, to ensure that the fight against aids, is combined again and again to this. I believe in a world without aids,” she said, as reported by Europe 1. And this year, no less than 800 000 euros of donations were collected. A record since the launch of the event.
