Hi all meltynautes! I hope you are well and that you had a great weekend, like mine. This is a very special feature today as it will be the last I’ll write. Yes, after two years of loyal service, it’s time for me to conclude this adventure I had with you. In this final article, I decided to explain to you what are my hopes for 2017 next TV series. I must say that in three weeks, 2016 will (already) be concluded and it is a good year will happen. Are you ready ? So let’s go !
I’ll start with you about Grey’s Anatomy. If you were part of my loyal readers, you are aware that I feel a strong attachment to the ABC medical drama. Unfortunately, this season 13 was particularly disappointing until now and I hope that following the events will be more exciting, with the return of some intrigue. Moreover, discover the 3 things I’d like to see in the 13 season of Grey’s Anatomy in September . Meanwhile, The Walking Dead me tremendously disappointed. I do not like this habit she has to explore one plot per episode, I find it annoying, especially since we do not like all the same characters. In short, this season 7 is, for me, the worst since the second (although the second part of the S4 was frankly sucks for me too) . I also have to hope that This Is Us continues to fascinate me, make me laugh and cry. This series is a real nugget each episode moved me to tears. Long live This Is Us!
I hope 2017 will offer us a new season of American Horror Story as good as the sixth. The series has reinvented itself this year to offer us what is in my eyes the best season of the show. On HBO, Westworld captivated me (although I’ve not all inclusive) and I hope that Season 2 will continue this momentum. The seventh season of Game of Thrones, although shortened, is also awaited on my side. I hope that the meeting of Stark will be imminent and that the meeting between Jon Snow and Daenerys will be explosive. I hope that the end of season 3 of How to Get Away with Murder continue to fascinate me and qu’Annalise Keating will return in 2017 . Hopefully season 6 Scandal will not be that too and that of Once Upon A Time is the latest so that it can leave us with dignity.
On the CW, The 100 will return and hopefully the series will convince us once again to make us forget that season 3 was by far the worst of the show. I hope that the end of the season 8 of The Vampire Diaries will manage to move us and fulfill its role as the last chapter of the series. For now, this eighth season is very successful and I hope it will continue in this line. Above all, I hope to see renewals for Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend that continue to make me vibrate . Black Code continues to seduce me every week on CBS and I hope to see more. I hope the Gallagher family on Showtime, will return. Anyway, Homeland will make his big comeback in January and as you say that I am especially looking forward. Season 3 of American Crime on ABC is also expected to firm foot, as the final season of The Leftovers on HBO.
But there will not only return on our favorite channels, there will also be launching. So I hope Riverdale whose trailer is available, will sell me so many dreams that we try to have us believe. I hope the new comedy from FOX, The Mick, will be just as funny than it looks. I put the trailer in just downstairs . I hope that the return of Katherine Heigl on television will be successful with Doubt on CBS (Laverne Cox is also in the cast, heart on it). On FOX, will land a nice series and I hope it will please me as much as the trailer: Shots Fired. On HBO, we discover Big Little Lies in February. A series with Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley whose cast may fade the larger sets.
I’m excited about the spin-off of The Good Wife, entitled “The Good Fight”. I is impatient with the idea of adapting mater series of Lemony Adventures of Baudelaire Orphans on Netflix. On NBC, shows a multitude seem promising: Powerless, Emerald City, or Midnight Texas . On ABC, the new production Shonda Rhimes is expected from my side it comes Still Star-Crosses, Sequel of Romeo and Juliet. Of course, Time After Time is expected to firm up! In short, that beautiful people in 2017.
If I will not be here to review my week series every Sunday, I continue to write every day melty. I therefore leave you only half! Anyway, I wanted to thank you again for all your comments and all the interest you could bring to my column which was a real success on the site.
