After the Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that the country allow citizens to retire at the age of 70 years. In the state an acute shortage of labor resources, therefore, policy has taken such a decision.

 

In Japan, elderly people consider important work reserve. Old people in Japan are vigor and health. Many retirees lead an active lifestyle and want to work. The Cabinet of Ministers of Japan will provide all interested citizens to retire at the age of 70 years. So officials solve several problems at once. At the moment, people in Japan going to retire at 65. If desired, people can go on a holiday before, but will receive government payments in the truncated size.

According to Shinzo Abe, the elderly must work and lead an active lifestyle until the end of his days. The average life expectancy in Japan is increasing. In order to eliminate the problem of lack of employees and cut expenses of the budget on pensions, the policy allowed the elderly to hold positions in the companies until they have a desire to benefit society.
