To the rescue of the White House! Last night, the US network The CW aired episode 5 of season 2 Legends of Tomorrow, for which we dévoilions the promo video . This new chapter has led our heroes in the White House, allowed us to see an old friend and offered a beautiful advanced to the theme of this second round of episodes. This time we land in 1987, when the big bad guys that are Damien Darhk and Eobard Thawne were determined to blow up the White House to prevent the signing of a deal that would end the historic Cold War. As for our hero, we discover that Ray is struggling with the gun of Captain Cold and at that time, the JSA is no more. Indeed, only one remains Obsidian, aka Todd Rice, much older (the son of the first Green Lantern, Alan Scott alias), which tells Vixen what has happened since his abandonment of the team in 1942. the story is moving and we regret at this point not to have had a few flashbacks focusing on this famous team.
The episode offers us other reunion between Stein and her younger. The Butterfly Effect has once again acted and the two versions of the same man meet at the White House. Once again, the situation of the two men will not easy between lavished Darhk injury, which could have been fatal, and a touching moment between Stein and our younger version of his wife. Level Action, the episode does not demerit. The fighting is done roughly and still captivating the time bomb that Ray had to stop, was far from uninteresting as it allowed man to realize that even without costume, he could be a hero. The emotion was at the rendezvous lorsqu’Obsidian sacrifices himself to save the lives of Vixen, who got shot. Fortunately, there is finally rescued and despite a good proposal, he refused to join the Legends. Finally, our heroes are now aware that in addition to Damien Darhk, they are dealing with a speedster, much faster than Barry Allen. Thus, the thread is changing and when the next episode, we might have of surprise. The departure of the two villains are very enigmatic! Have they traveled through time? Or in another dimension? Are they creating a new Flashpoint? Everything is possible now.
We must signify, Season 2 Legends of Tomorrow dazzles us. The characters are at this point much more interesting than in the first season they have doubts about their superhero status, but now they want to honor their future. The links between the characters (old and new) are extremely pleasant and none bothers us (which was far from the case in the first season). As for the missions, they are much more exciting and clothing play with the history of our humanity, they still give more interest. Also, the red son is much better crafted and more amazing villain duo that the big bad of season 1. in short, we are seduced and we wait to see the next episode. Soon, we will discover the crossover between Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl and now, discover the characters that will be present. What did you think of this episode?
