Legends of Tomorrow Season 2: Episode 8 Sara refused to save Laurel, our criticism of the final mid-season!

Cinema 9 December, 2016

While the episode 8 of season 2 Legends of Tomorrow was broadcast last night on the CW, return to the main events in this very intense final mid-season!

Familiar faces! And yes meltynautes, “The Chicago Way” was clearly an opportunity to review all the characters that marked the show since its inception and we are delighted. However, hard to have been fully met by this episode which was more like a transition to an explosive final mid-season. While the editorial ‘of melty announced that Captain Cold regain Team in episode 8 of season 2 Legends of Tomorrow , back in detail on the main events last night in “The Chicago Way” recently aired on the CW . First, know that Malcolm Merlyn finally made its grand entrance into the Legion of Doom! Indeed, Damien Darhk and Eobard Thawne teamed two for a while thus delaying the arrival of Merlyn, emblematic of Arrow. And the least we can say is that he is always true to himself to the point of proposing a deal very tempting to Sara . And if the woman agreed to go back nine years ago to never be mounted on the Queen’s Gambit alongside Oliver? And if it had never been part of the League of Assassins? And if she was saving her sister? And then of course, we could not help but wonder if she was not going to say yes as Laurel redid a surprise appearance in Arrow. However, Sara has obviously accepted the death of his sister and she understood that if she took such a decision, the consequences would likely be dramatic. It is an emphatic that it gives Merlyn!
We can only applaud such a spirit of Sara force that prefers “living a nightmare rather than a dream is a lie.” Sometimes his character acts as a real robot without emotions, so it is interesting to see confront something so painful. This dilemma then offers the possibility to Stein reveal the whole truth about his daughter. And if Sara is angry she has no time to blame him long since Stein was then kidnapped and tortured by Thawne more cruel than ever . If the whole team rushes to save him, Jax is skeptical about the personality of the one they brought. Very different, Stein locks himself alone and teammate soon realizes that this is actually the speedster. It is clear that he manages very easily fool people and infiltrate the ship. Meanwhile, Heat Wave had hallucinations of Captain Cold. A situation very difficult to understand for viewers. Mick Rory is it missing from his life of crime? Nevertheless, see Leonard Snart was downright uplifting and hopefully soon see him in the flesh. Another positive point is the approximation of Heat Wave and Vixen is something really interesting. In contrast to each other, the two characters offer us an enjoyable dynamic unexpected.
If we enjoyed delving into the 20s in Chicago, the episode is altogether rather conventional and not surprisingly. It is nice to see Sara admit it regards everyone as family and she agrees to protect the daughter of Stein but it is not spent a lot of things in this mid-season which was expected since both that of Arrow. Nevertheless, the end of the episode suggests detonating many intrigues. First, because the plan of the Legion of Doom was finally unveiled and their purpose is to rewrite reality then because Rip Hunter is finally back! And it is clearly waiting, the leader of Team was an essential asset in the series and his return should distribute the cards. Unless it is downright forgotten who he was? One thing is certain, we are eager to learn more and to get into the thick of it as if “The Chicago Way” was nice, it clearly lacked a good dose of twists. But we must wait until January 26 to learn more.
