Lowry and the Raptors beat the Pelicans

TORONTO – Kyle Lowry scored 33 points including a crucial basket with four seconds on the overtime dial Tuesday, allowing the Toronto Raptors to stand out 108-106 against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Raptors still have only two victories in their last eight games.

Lowry added 10 assists, while Jonas Valanciunas got 20 points and 12 rebounds.

The Raptors were again deprived of DeMar DeRozan, who is injured to the right ankle.

Torontonians will play their next three overseas games on Wednesday in Boston.

Jrue Holiday led the Pelicans with 30 points.
