Maniac : the new series from the director of True Detective unveils a teaser experimental and its release date on Netflix

The series edgy psychological and fantastic with Emma Stone and Jonah Hill finally opened in a first teaser.

September is already loaded in series with the arrival of the much anticipated The First on Hulu (whose trailer we were amazed), season 2 of The Deuce (first pictures here) and Iron Fist (its trailer here), the season 8 ofAmerican Horror Story (first visual here) or the season 3 of The Good Place (that we love so much of the past two seasons) on the 28th of September next.

Has this long list, to which one might add the season 5 of “BoJack Horseman, season 3 of This Is Us or the season 9 of Shameless, will be added the much hoped for Maniac. Netflix made the announcement in a teaser intriguing than the mini-series would happen on the 21st of September on the platform.

 

 

A teaser experimental ultra colorful putting it up the madness that will characterize the two central characters of the series, played by Emma Stone and Jonah Hill. Remake of the series Norwegian of the same name, Maniac will tell in the life of a patient of a psychiatric hospital (Jonah Hill), who imagines himself into a fantasy world of which he is the hero to escape his daily life, after that experience has evil tour.

Performed by Cary Fukunaga (behind the first season of True Detective), the series promises to be particularly mysterious, crazy, sassy and with an aesthetic that is very stylized (and not unlike the Legion). Justin Theroux and Sally Field will also be of the party.
