Nokia 8: Its price unveiled by a Chinese retailer?

Techno 20 February, 2017

The Nokia 8 is not yet unveiled but a Chinese e-commerce site already offers it in pre-order. A price is even offered. Surprising.
With its return to its roots throughout the year 2017, Nokia is on all fronts. The Finnish manufacturer is preparing to be a major player in the MWC 2017 in Barcelona at the end of February. Among the expected announcements, the alleged return of the Nokia 3310 – presented in concept – and whose nostalgic factor will be its main asset. Making new with old, the bet seems risky on paper. But, fortunately, Nokia does not have that 3310 in its boxes. A high-end smartphone is expected. The Nokia 8 must allow the manufacturer to relaunch the machine and enter a market with strong competition. Its expected launch has already been anticipated by JD.com . The e-commerce site based in China offers the Nokia 8 pre-order and even advance a price.
The process can be astonishing. Neither Nokia , nor the parent company HMD Group has for the moment communicated on the smartphone. JD.com on its product page visible above, even takes a picture of concept to illustrate the Nokia 8. It comes from the creation of Concept Creator presented a few days ago. Before mentioning the price, note that no date is communicated for a possible delivery. Logic. Now, for the sum, JD.com offers the Nokia 8 for 3,188 yuan (434 euros) . The price seems to be part of Nokia’s determination not to offer smartphones at too high a price. Recall that the Nokia 8 should arrive with Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed, a SuperAMOLED QHD screen of 5.7 inches, 6 GB of RAM, a USB-C connector or a 24-megapixel camera. These are some presumed characteristics. It remains to wait for the official launch of the Nokia 8 to see if all this will be confirmed or not.
