MONTREAL – canadian consumers who have already purchased products for the bath Beautiful Dodo of the american company Johnson & Johnson can receive up to $ 15 by registering a complaint here on the 6th of April next, in the context of a class action.
An amicable agreement was approved last Friday by the superior Court of Québec for a collective action regarding the labelling of some of these products.
“The applicant […] argued that Johnson & Johnson Inc. has mislabeled some of its products for the bath Beautiful Dodo describing each as being “clinically proven” to help babies sleep better”, one can read in a press release.
Consumers, resident in Canada, and have purchased one of the qualifying products outlined below, between July 1, 2010 and march 23, 2018 have until 6 April to submit a claim and get a refund of $ 3 for each product, up to a maximum of five products per household. No proof of purchase is required, it is.
The products concerned are the following: Johnson’s baby lotion-Beautiful Dodo; Johnson’s baby tub Beautiful Dodo; Johnson’s bubble bath for babies Beautiful Dodo; Johnson’s bubble bath, cleanser for babies Beautiful Dodo; Johnson’s cleanser and beau dodo baby; Johnson’s creamy cleanser for babies Beautiful Dodo; and Johnson’s BEDTIME Touch Massage Gel.
In July 2015, the applicant, Matthew Licari, had filed a motion for authorization to institute a collective action which received court approval in September 2016.
