    QUEBEC | Québec solidaire, has confirmed on Thursday that the ex-political columnist for La Presse, Vincent Marissal, will be the candidate in the electoral district of Rosemont in the election in October next.

    The official announcement of his candidacy will take place on Tuesday morning in Montreal.

    The county of Rosemont is currently represented by the leader of the Parti québécois, Jean-François Lisée.

    Earlier this week, the spokesperson of QS, Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, was confirmed to have discussions with Mr. Marissal, without, however, confirm its arrival in the training policy.

    Mr. Marissal was from September 2017, the senior director for the firm’s lobbying and public relations Tact Intelligence-Conseil.
