It took us by surprise and it was more him until the end of the season. The Terror, there it was : a series completely insane, mesmerizing, surprising, terrifying. One of these series that are landmarks in our memory.

And obviously this is not finished because the series produced by Ridley Scott, from the writings of the great Dan Simmons, The Terror , therefore, will come back for a season 2 that gives the impression of come out of nowhere.

And, from what we know, there will be wholesale changes, since the story will take place now during the Second world War, in the Pacific, and that there will be an all new cast including Derek Mio, and George Takei, now as a consultant.

En route to The Terror

If such a decision may seem surprising at the beginning, one is reminded very quickly that the format of the anthology is in the process of gently impose itself in the minds of the producers of the series. Already, because of the overconsumption that is ours today, we are not necessarily ready to embark in a program spanning 15 seasons.

Secondly, because it avoids the lengths of story , and this promises a plot buckled. Finally, and this is the most important for the strings, this saves a lot of money. If the serial does not work, it already has a planned end. If it is cased, it prevents the players to raise their salaries from one season to another as this is not the same story or the same characters.

All that to say that The Terror season 2 is underway, and filming began on January 14 in Vancouver , Canada. The ideal time, therefore, that the AMC reveals the true title, which will therefore be The Terror : Infamy. And infamy, there will be clear since it is pointed out that this time, the ten episodes will take us in a community of japanese-american under the blow of a spectrum that pushes the hero to engage in the Second world War, with the backdrop of the internment camps.

In short, it has the air still murky and we can’t wait to at least find out the broadcast date of the season.
