That was already true before, but in recent years we have confirmed an admirable, if one wants to see real topics, projects that take real risks, it is up to the tv that it is happening and to be at the cinema.

If one regrets, of course this conclusion because the experience in the rooms remains the same when a single moment, we need to admit that the networks are private to the Netflix, HBO, and AMC efforts from gigantic to we offer programs that remain in memory. And this year 2018 was particularly rich series of high quality. On-the-fly, one immediately thinks of Sharp Objects and The Haunting of Hill House , of course, but also to the masterful series The Terror, which aired last march.

A big bet since the project to adapt the terrifying novel by Dan Simmons was clearly not within the reach of everyone but the series was so wonderful. That fact that we were more than surprised, and puzzled, to learn a few months ago that The Terror was going to come back for a season 2 that will happen this time during the Second World War.

Like many others currently, The Terror is transformed thus in the anthology that should not logically maintain no relation between its different seasons (yet ?) and will focus on a study of the darker areas of the human being. And this season 2 begins to unfold, as we learn via the website TV Line that it is the actor Derek Mio who will be the main character, Chester Nakayama.

Derek Mio will know The Terror

Japanese-american from the fourth wave of immigration, Nakayama dream to leave his community and join the army. Fortunately (?) for him, the Second World War broke out and here it is embedded, and thus the opportunity to transform into a war hero. But a spectrum starts to haunt her community in Southern California and is expected to continue until in the internment camps and in the midst of the war of the Pacific.

If one always remains doubtful about a second season, The Terror will not change his team as Ridley Scott and Dan Simmons will retain their roles of producers. The 10 new episodes are expected in 2019 and we are nevertheless excited to see what this can give. Hoping that this will be at least as good as the first season.
