Sex Education follows the young Otis Milburn – a high school student inexperienced a little weird and the son of a sex therapist, his best friend Eric Effiong – which is in full affirmation of its identity, and Maeve – the young rebel who blows the idea to Otis to open up a “clinic sex” for other high school students.

Netflix will not have to wait a long time before you replace the cover for a season 2. And with about 40 million views in four weeks (which makes Sex Education one of the most popular series of Netflix), the streaming platform would be wrong to deny it.

The creator and writer of the series, Laurie, Nunn, expressed his joy at the idea of this new season at the microphone of Variety :

“People were so excited by the first season. You can see how viewers all around the world are “attached” to characters that were born out of an idea in my head is incredible. I am infinitely grateful to all the people who have taken the time to watch the series, and I look forward to continuing this wonderful adventure. “

There is one who is embarrassed to advance

The production of the next eight episodes is expected to begin next spring. It will bring together a good part of the cast original, namely, Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Gillian Anderson, Aimée-Lou Wood, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling and others.

If you have not yet seen the series, Sex Education is available in full on Netflix since 11 January 2019.
