Sharp Objects : the series, the Gone Girl with Amy Adams reveals in a teaser ultra-dark

The series Sharp Objects has unveiled its first images during the broadcast of Westworld.

After the huge critical success of Big Little Lies last year, and before the return of the series in season 2, welcoming, among others, Meryl Streep in the cast, HBO will unveil another series thriller carried by a cast mostly female this year, and eagerly awaited in Wide Screen : Sharp Objects.

Created by Jean-Marc Vallée, director of Wild and Dallas Buyers Club already behind a part of the first season of Big Little Lies, the series is unveiled this night in a first teaser aired during the recovery of Westworld on an american channel. Based on a novel by the american author bestselling Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl), Sharp Objects will follow the reporter Camille Preaker (performed by Amy Adams). Outgoing just a psychiatric hospital, she returns to her home town to solve the murder of two teenage girls. In his very first pictures, very dark, the voices of young teenage girls who have died seem to invade the mind of an Amy Adams disturbed or paranoid.

Produced by HBO and Blumhouse Productions (“Get Out, American Nightmare) and created by Marti Noxon (Buffy against the vampires), the series has benefited from this teaser intriguing to also reveal its release date. Sharp Objects will, therefore, on the screens French in July next on OCS with Amy Adams and Patricia Clarkson.
