The leaders of the South in Celebration of Shawinigan and Marie-Chantal Toupin are likely to have found a middle ground after the cancellation of a show in a few days.

The two parties have announced by way of press release to have abandoned the idea to sue.

Joined by TVA News, the singer explained that she manages her own career, without an agent, and that she was unaware of the unwritten rule that stops it from happening twice in a few days for two different producers in the same city.

She considers this misunderstanding as a learning experience.

Recall that Wilfred Lebouthillier will replace it on stage on Thursday. He accepted the invitation of the South in a Feast following the abandonment of the singer, six days before the show.
