Star Wars The Last Jedi: New scenes shot in March?

Cinema 24 February, 2017

The Star Wars Team The Last Jedi will have to take over the costumes next month as new scenes will be shot. What for ?
The Final Jedi Clash of Star Wars Episode VIII aka Star Wars The last Jedi was given a few months ago, but the team will return to Scotland in March to shoot additional scenes. So do not panic it is a common practice for the Star Wars saga and this is not necessarily bad sign. Remember, the Rogue One team also had to shoot new scenes just a few months before the release of the film and the result was pretty good. The new scenes have allowed the team to have several options for the final editing and to offer a quality product to fans and this is certainly what the director of Star Wars The Last Jedi , Rian Johnson, is looking for.
Could these new scenes serve to pay tribute to Carrie Fisher? Could they help the team to “manage” the actress’s death and the fate of her character Princess Leïa? The iconic character was to have great significance in this film as well as in Star Wars Episode IX and his disappearance poses many questions about the intrigue of these two highly anticipated components. Could these new scenes demanded by production change something?
