The four kids have been struggling to regain a normal life since Onze’s disappearance. Especially Will who came back from the world upside down with a strange illness . Joyce tries to get ahead and it is in the arms of Bob, a former schoolmate (played by Sean Astin) that she tries to get better. However, his family is still very touched by Will’s disappearance last year.
Hopper, for his part, tries to hide certain events from Season 1 – such as the death of Barb, for example – to protect Joyce and the children. But the fault that binds Hawking to the World in reverse is not closed, causing new problems.
