The new series of the expanded universe Star Wars Disney Studios, The Mandalorian, has found the face in her first role.

A new piece of the puzzle, Star Wars takes place : Disney announced on Tuesday (13 November) at the microphone of Varieter and Collider that Pedro Pascal, aka Javier Pena in the series Narcos, will be the first role in their new series The Mandalorian, (which still has no release date).

Good job Pedro

The Mandalorian planted his decor between the fall of the Empire and the emergence of the First Order. The series will tell the story and the travels of a lone sniper in the remotest areas of the galaxy, very far from the authority of the New Republic.

For the curious, the cast whole has not yet been revealed, but is known more for the writing and implementation of the project. It is a script by Jon Favreau that will be staged by different directors. The first episode will be directed by Dave Filoni, a veteran of the universe Star Wars, since it is already working on the series Star Wars: Rebels (2014 -) and the film that he had made Star Wars : The Clone Wars (2008). You can also find Taika Waititi, Thor : Ragnarok (2017), Bryce Dallas Howard, Jurassic World : Fallen Kingdom (2018), Rick Famuyiwa, Dope (2015), and Deborah Chow, Jessica Jones (2015 -) achievement.

You can’t say that Pedro Pascal is a stranger to the small screen, first with his role in the Drug traffickers but also because he has played Oberyn in Game of Thrones. This is the great écrand the actor was recently seen in Kingsman : The golden Circle (2017) and Eq 2 (2018).

Pedro Pascal is already expected in two films in 2019 : If Beale Street could talk Barry Jenkins (30 January) and Wonder Woman 1984 Patty Jenkins (October).
