Gnagnagna DC Comics… Gnagnagna DCEU all rotten… Gnagnagna tv it is a hell of a lot better…

If you have read the introduction to this article oh-so-subtle and philosophical, you will certainly have understood the stakes that represent the new productions to DC Comics. In fact, while the studio tries to get up out of the ashes of his Justice League to the cinema, he also launches into an ambitious project for the streaming platform, history to regain the hearts of fans and attract new ones.

The shadow of the Justice League, always present no matter what you say

DC Universe, since it is the name of the service, expected to launch several new series beginning this fall, including the expected Swamp Thing , produced by James Wan, with, in particular, in the lead, the series Titans, the first adaptation live of the Teen Titans. A few months ago we had learned that it was Brenton Thwaites (seen particularly in the last Pirates of the Caribbean ) who would play the leading Dick Grayson, aka Robin, and a first frame had even been circulated to reassure us on the potential of the show, although it did not allow us to make us a true idea of the costume or the character.

There is a severe shortage repaired today, since the studio has just unveiled two new images that bring more value to the hero as much as they give the tone to the future series. We find, therefore, a Dick Grayson struggling with an intern to Photoshop that is a bit dropped, covered with wounds, and in a suit that reminds more armor than the speedos and the peacoat that the hero was in its infancy. So much the better.

Brenton Thwaites is so Dick Grayson

The series promises to be dark and violent (if you believe the pictures), which we gently made laugh since it is all that wants to avoid DC for his films. In Titans, we will follow so Dick Grayson who, in the company of Rachel Roth (a young woman possessed by a dark force who becomes a Raven), it updates a conspiracy that could bring hell on Earth. They recruit so Starfire and Beast-Boy to form the Teen Titans and fight the Evil.

Difficult to make an opinion with the little that we have on hand, but as the series is scheduled to be broadcast this autumn, we can without too much fear of making a mistake to rely on the presentation of a trailer at the next Comic Con. We keep our fingers crossed.

And obviously, he’s going to kick some asses
