The Walking Dead, Gray’s Anatomy, Prison Break … Have your favorite series been renewed or canceled?

Summer is coming and it’s time to take stock of renewals and cancellations already confirmed for your favorite series – and the others!
The weeks pass and the episodes also, to the point that several series are already about to reach their end. But before the summer hiatus actually begins, we offer you a short summary of the status of certain series that have either been renewed, canceled or are still pending . Obviously it is complicated to list absolutely all series of cable, networks and services of VOD also we offer a small selection and we invite you, if you want, to share your infos in the comments below on the Missing series.
ABC
Shonda Rhimes’s TGIT – Thank God It’s Thursday – will continue to make us dream on Thursday night as How to Get Away with Murder has been renewed for a season 4 while Gray’s Anatomy will also have a season 14 and Scandal one season 7 . The Catch has not yet been released, but it may be that the last installment of the Thursday trilogy is about to be canceled after its second season. There is no news yet for Designated Survivor even though, according to TVLine, a season 2 is likely, just like Once Upon A Time which should be entitled to a season 7. Agents of SHIELD is still pending, Like Quantico .
CBS
On CBS, Sheldon, Leonard and the entire band of The Big Bang Theory will return for a season 11 and 12 while the Good Wife spin-off , The Good Fight , will continue on CBS Access for a second season. Season 7 of 2 Broke Girls is still in suspense as is the spin-off of Criminal Minds, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders . The original series was renewed for a season 13. As some already know, Person of Interest was canceled while Madam Secretary will return soon for a season 4.
FOX
On the FOX, Empire and Lucifer were officially renewed. This is not the case for Gotham whose fate remains uncertain, nor for Prison Break whose revival has just begun . As for Scream Queens , doubts are allowed. On the other hand, as announced recently, X-Files will officially return for a season 11 . The spin-off 24: Legacy – for which Heath has somewhat disappeared from The Walking Dead – will be lucky if he gets a second season but fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine should not be disappointed since the series should be renewed For a season 5. The first season of the Exorcist with Geena Davis has not really convinced, so her fate remains in suspense, as is that of New Girl . Finally The Simpson continues its course with a renewal for 2 seasons that will bring it up to a season 30.
NBC
NBC’s various series are on track, including Chicago Fire, Chicago Justice, Chicago Med and Chicago PD . After an undeniable success, This Is Us has already been renewed for 2 seasons while Grimm has not had this chance and has recently finished . The comedy The Good Place has also been renewed for a season 2 despite its weak audiences while for Blindspot , things remain uncertain. If the Blacklist is likely to have a fifth season, chances are thinner for the Blacklist: Redemption spin-off whose first season has not completely convinced.
The CW
The teen shows still have bright future on the CW because against all odds, The 100 has been renewed for Season 5 – we hope to be the last – just like Arrow which will have its season 6, Legends of Tomorrow (season 3), The Flash (season 4) and Supergirl (season 3). On the musical side, the excellent Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will return for a season 3 while Jane the Virgin has already been renewed for a season 4 . Fans already know, The Vampire Diaries has ended and the fate of its spin-off The Originals remains in suspense in full broadcast season 4 .
AMC
On the cable, AMC obviously already renewed The Walking Dead for a season 8 that will start with the 100th episode of the series. The prequel Fear The Walking Dead has also been renewed even before the release of Season 3 while Better Call Saul is pending for a season 4 while season 3 has recently started. Into the Badlands will return for a season 3 and Halt and Catch Fire has also been renewed for a final season.
FX / FXX
On FX and FXX, the anthologies of Ryan Murphy still have beautiful years ahead as American Horror Story was renewed for seasons 8 and 9 while American Crime Story secured its seasons 2, 3 and 4. The Americans will return it For the last two seasons and will end in 2018 while Feud and Legion have both been renewed.
HBO
The success of the adaptation of the novel Liane Moriarty Big Little Lies has not yet led to a season 2 – which would not be worse – while the biggest success of HBO will end soon as Game of Thrones Has more than 2 seasons to offer us . The very beautiful The Leftovers started their third and final season recently and the fate of True Detective remains uncertain after two seasons. Girls said goodbye to us recently, Westworld will come back for a season 2 and fans of The Young Pope will have to take their trouble patiently since no decision has yet been taken.
SHOWTIME
While Homeland season 6 ended recently, the series will return soon for a season 7 and 8 while House of Lies, Masters of Sex and Penny Dreadful have already been canceled. On the other hand, The Affair, Ray Donovan and Shameless will all come back on our screens.
NETFLIX
The VOD platform continues to flood us with good series, some of which, like 13 Reasons Why , are close to a season 2. For Gilmore Girls and Iron Fist nothing is sure yet . However renewals are many: A Series of Unfortunate Events , Black Mirror, Bloodline, The Crown, Daredevil, Grace and Frankie, Jessica Jones, Luke Cake, Narcos, The OA Orange is the New Black, Santa Clarita Diet and Stranger Things Will all have a follow-up that will soon be released for some. The very merry Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt arrives for his third season on May 19 while we will be able to find Frank Underwoord in season 5 of House of Cards on May 30.
And the others…
Finally for the series on the other channels, know that Bates Motel finished for good on A & E not long ago and that Orphan Black will return on the BBC America for a fifth and last season . On CMT, Nashville recently won a season 6 while the seventh and final season of Pretty Little Liars is broadcast on Freeform. On History, Vikings was renewed and on Hulu The Mindy Project got a new season that will be the last. On the USA Network, Mr Robot and Suits have both been renewed while on Starz, Black Sails has just finished and Outlander will return for seasons 3 and 4.
