the-walking-dead-saison-7-amc-twd-23-octobreA matter of shell! In episode 4 of Season 7 of The Walking Dead, for which we dévoilions an extract in which Michonne acting strangely , we should find Dwight, a character we further discovered in the last part, a character who does everything that we hated. However, we should not hate as much for what it seems clear, because Dwight is not really a bad guy. Of course, through his experience in the comics by Robert Kirkman, we know that the character is experiencing a transformation, but in the series, we discover that Dwight hates the man he is forced accomplice, making it more than any other captive . Indeed, Dwight has no desire to serve Negan and the only reason he got that terrible facial scar is having wanted to protect his wife. Dwight is so blindly in love with his wife Sherry that he even returned to Negan to keep it safe. As highlighted Daryl before the end of the episode, the character submits to Negan because he has someone else in mind. When you have something to lose, you do unthinkable things, especially if it’s someone you love deeply.

We see it, Dwight tries to instill fear on Daryl, convincing that serve Negan and put knees on the ground is the thing to do, but we have more the feeling that he is trying to convince himself. We also perceive in his meeting with Gordon. The latter refused to follow Dwight to undergo his punishment and would rather accept death. By killing Dwight proves he still has a compassionate side and, in addition, he is willing to betray Negan. The villain wants to keep people alive, to bend them to his own will in an effort to show his power to others. When someone not afraid, Negan loses its power. Dwight is definitely not a good guy, but he is certainly not a true Savior . It remains clear of conflicts, reaping the benefits it can as sandwiches and clothes, and punishes by doing the dirty work of the group.

At this stage, we may think that Dwight tries to be Daryl. He took his jacket, his bike and try to be strong. Dwight just wants what is best for Sherry because they were in love and we can see a similarity with that Daryl has done everything to keep Carol safe, although they were not lovers. Relations were different, but the end goal is the same. We see it, Dwight is also a victim that we should not hate, the more he should be present for a long time . A good thing as Austin Amelio gave him life brilliantly. The invisible scars Dwight are clearly present, as he tries to hide them better. If the story of Dwight follows that of comics, we will definitely have more reason to hate him since he will become the man of Rick and Alexandria within the Sanctuary and will be of invaluable assistance to enable falling Negan. For now, Dwight is experiencing such conflicts he hates enough for us all. Recently, Norman Reedus did know, following the broadcast of episode 3 of season 7 of The Walking Dead, Daryl has lost all will to fight. Do you hate Dwight?
