The Walking Dead Season 8: What would be the consequences of the death of SPOILER in the sequel?

Season 7 of The Walking Dead returns tomorrow to AMC and we are already wondering what awaits us in the next!
While we were told recently that there would be far fewer deaths in the coming seasons of The Walking Dead , today we will speculate on the possible death of a particular character: that of Negan ( Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Obviously if we believe the comics, it should not happen so soon – watch out for the spoilers on the comics published in the United States in the sequel. Indeed in the comic book The Walking Dead , Negan is beaten by Rick after a fierce war and ends up imprisoned by the leader of Alexandria. Rick Grimes has a lot of consequences, so we wondered what might happen if, instead of showing mercy, Rick killed his enemy as soon as he had the chance . Again, watch out for the spoilers about the intrigues of the US comics in the sequel since it is indeed of the future and therefore possibly of what it could happen in season 8 that we will speak.
If Rick killed Negan afterwards, there would be a good chance he would lose the war against the Whisperers. Readers know that it is Negan who kills Alpha and that as an iconic leader, his survival could very well be synonymous with victory for his group. Negan’s influence did not end there, however, as the long hours spent in his cell gave him the opportunity to become a sort of advisor to Rick . So when things are a bit hectic in Alexandria, Negan gives indications to the leader to regain the trust and support of his community. Without it, it is possible that another leader will eventually be chosen or that Rick will not regain control of his group and lead them to their loss in the war against the Whisperers. In short, Negan’s death in Season 8 would completely change the tone of the series by making it much darker than it will be if the writers follow the comics. While waiting to see the direction that the series will take, we wondered if Sasha was going to try to kill Negan in season 8 of The Walking Dead . And you what do you think ?
