Not enough inspiration to make a series, The Walking Dead, correct ? Not a problem, we just have to make a movie.

Ah, you talk about it extensively in this series, and for good reason : even if the hearings are in the process of diving (the word is weak), The Walking Dead is still one of the show’s most-watched and a cultural phenomenon, very important to the popularity is undeniable. Since its figures have become huge, a lot of fans are wondering whether the series will be a day of the jump to go to the film and to land in cinemas with a film stamped with The Walking Dead.

Vulture posed the question recently to the showrunner on the departure of Scott Gimple, and apparently, the door remains open :

A series that stings the eyes

“This kind of derivatives, we talk about it yes. All the different ways to tell a story, what we can use or not… there is a whole universe of possibilities.”

You’re warned now, a priori, nothing concrete on the horizon, but if one day a movie , The Walking Dead is done, you will not be able to play the surprise now. From our side we would prefer that the series focused on itself, because having regard to the lining and the overall quality of the season 8, it would really be put to work now.
