There are a series of which one has strictly nothing to do and there are others that you expect the most. I’ll let you guess which category we will pack The Witcher. Come on, it’s not so complicated, make an effort.

Since the end of the year 2017, we are like crazy. In fact, it is at this time that has been announced with the intention of Netflix to produce a series The Witcher is adapted from epic novels of Andrzej The us has already delivered three video games memorable (well, mostly the latter actually).

The first season should be released from 2020, and is expected to have 8 episodes, and if we don’t know yet who will carry it out, the showrunneuse Lauren Schmidt Hissrich (who has worked on the series Daredevil and The Defenders) has all the cards in hand to make it a must-have.

Geralt

Of course, the biggest question that drives us is to know who will play as the Witcher Geralt Of Riv. If we did our little wishlist there not so long ago, we realize after the fact that we had not fallen far from the general trend, since Mads Mikkelsen, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, or Viggo Mortensen appear in the top of the list. But for the moment, nothing has been decided by the network which means just as well thata surprise guest might show up to the party.

And it is more or less what is happening, since Henry Cavill has expressed his keen interest for The Witcher. Interviewed by the website IGN, he has thus been asked what video games he played, and of course he has mentioned The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt as it had recently been redone and sees it as “a very good game“. Then came the fatal question, to know if he was interested in the tv series :

“Absolutely ! This would be a role really incredible. In addition, the books are really very good and are worth clearly worth a read.”

Then, of course, there is no material to see an official index on the identity of Geralt Of Riv in the series, but this call could change things. And if we still have a preference for Mads Mikkelsen in the role (as it seems to cut out for) if Netflix chooses the facility, our friend could very well have the face of Superman.
