Vernon Subutex : the series for Canal + with Romain Duris reveals a first teaser

Shortly before arriving on our screens, the series Channel + Vernon Subutex gives us its first teaser.

Vernon Subutex is originally a trilogy literary Virginie Despentes, published between 2015 and 2017. Canal + has decided to adapted this story into an original series of the same name with Romain Duris star.

Produced by Cathy Verney (do not Do this, do not do it), this first season is inspired by the first volume of ” Vernon Subutex and part of the second. Like books, it should draw a portrait of contemporary society French. Tour between Paris, Cannes and Barcelona current 2018, this season will consist of nine episodes, thirty minutes each.

The series will be an unlucky record store (Romain Duris) is evicted from his apartment after the bankruptcy of his company. In search of a new home, he enlists the help of his friends, including Alex Bleach (Athaya Mokonzi), a rock-star. But it dies suddenly of a drug overdose and leaves him with three video tapes that will attract attention.

If it does not cross that Romain Duris and his deep voice full of nostalgia at seeing these first images, the series will bring together Celine Sallette (Our roaring twenties), Laurent Lucas (Serious) and the singer Fishback. We do not know yet the date of the broadcast of the series, but Canal + has announced for the next spring.
