The sweet, cute and very nice Ivar is featured on this new poster, which clearly gives the tone. It’s going to bleed.

Blood, betrayals, flesh shredded, hoses dancing in a rain of arrows and axes, alliances and returns in epic… Overall it was what we had in the first trailer of the return of season 5 of the Vikings a few months ago. It was dense and intense, regal and barbarian, in short, there was clearly hastily get back to it.

There are some who is really glad it’s back

This new poster for season 5B, which puts us clearly in the bath, since it place Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen) king (creepy) self-reported Kattegat. The first part of the season had ended with a final daunting and completely breathless in the course of which the army of the young Ivar the boneless triumphed over its rival, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick).

The young king will eventually lead to a “reign tyrannical on Scandinavia, which will lead to a new dark Age. Old enemies will become allies to defeat the bully who has self-proclaimed god on Earth”, according to the words of the string History, a diffuser of the series. The season 5B will open with the return of the legendary Rollo (Clive Standen), who is going to cause some “upheavals” in the city.

But for the time being, we prefer to remater once again this small trailer for mid-season. It should be noted that the second part of the season 5 of the Vikings will be comprised of 10 episodes and will land the 28 next November, from the Atlantic on the History Channel and on Canal+ in France.

Season 6, meanwhile, is currently in full filming in Ireland and will also be made up of 20 episodes (10 for each part). Great. Is. The. Looking forward to it.
