Vikings Season 4: Episode 13 Lagertha goes on the attack, our review!

Last night History aired episode 13 of season 4 of Vikings, for which we offer our criticism!
A new era begins! On History , last night, we discovered the episode 13 of season 4 of the Vikings, in which the beginning of the end has come for Ragnar . Following the previous chapter, we found the Viking legend and his son Ivar lying on a beach. Only when we thought the rest of the fleet had perished, we find that many of them have survived. But to our surprise, not for long! Indeed, at night, after a good feast and despite the heavy threat of the king’s men Egbert, Ragnar Ivar and will kill their entire troupe. From here, we understand that it is not really about taking revenge, it’s almost a suicide we are witnessing. The last minutes do not deceive us as Ragnar, always accompanied by Ivar, went to the gates of the Kingdom of Wessex. This part of the episode was particularly interesting for the relationship between father and son. We see how Ragnar Ivar believes in, how he predicted a great future and how he prepared to fight for his life. The young man does not fail to fascinate us while worrying us. Witness the unexpected scene where he murders his own and seems to greatly enjoy.
The second part of the story concerns the journey of Bjorn. We were surprised to see that it is the young man, followed by his men, who travels with Rollo, to ask him for help in his mission. Without surprise, and after having offered a small passage through the cell box, the brother of Ragnar expressed his desire to join his family, to the dismay of his wife. However, the result shows that Rollo is not necessarily the warrior he was when he fails the test imposed by the Vikings, throwing him overboard attached. Subsequently we should learn more about the evolution of the character during the leap in time, but above all it could end his adventure. The last part concerns Lagertha! It implements its recovery plan of Kattegat. Ingeniously, she goes to jail and Sigurd Ubbe after they set a trap. The village got rid of his strong men, it launched a bloody attack. The action, blood and treachery are the rendezvous for our delight. And finally, we are witnessing the fall of Aslaug!
The big regret that we have on this episode is not about what was proposed to us to see, but its promotion. Indeed, the promo video showed us every moment capital: that Ragnar went, that Lagertha attack Kattegat and that Rollo is joining his nephew. We believe the episode is powerful enough to offer us a slightly mysterious promotion! That said, it is again an episode at the sharp writing, implementation without fault and in which actors engage sublime benefits that was offered. Vikings continues to demonstrate that it is one of the best series of television history and we already looking forward to the next chapter.
