Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi QiCYCLE, a foldable and connected bike. Its characteristics and price are very attractive.

Since the beginning of the year, we hear a lot about Xiaomi. And for good reason ! The Chinese brand is on all fronts. In most smartphones that allow it to compete with Apple and Samsung , it designs connected bracelets, cameras and even home appliances. Just that ! Far from being content, Xiaomi decided to pursue this path. The manufacturer has just unveiled the Mi QiCYCLE, an electric bike whose particularity is to be connected. He is the first to embark on this segment, and has put the package for it to be a success. First, the Mi QiCYCLE offers 45 kms of autonomy thanks to its battery of 2900 mAh, for a price of 2999 yuan or 400 euros. It is significantly cheaper than its first electric bike, the QiCYCLE R1, which is neither foldable nor connected.

With Mi QiCYCLE, Xiaomi wants to revolutionize the market for electric bikes. Unlike the QiCYCLE R1, the 14.5 kg machine is foldable, and therefore easily transportable. But above all, it is connected … On his handlebars, a screen provides access to information such as distance traveled, calories burned, and battery level . And thanks to the GPS, it is also possible to visualize its route. All of this information is then transferred to the dedicated application. Via its smartphone, one thus finds the statistics of the routes, and the GPS navigation data. For the time being, it is not yet known whether the device will be marketed in Europe. In the editing, we would love to test it. And you, are you interested?
