FTWD would have to last quite a few more seasons before it would be plausible for them to meet.
And I won’t even mention the issue of timeline that exists.
It’s possible that because TWD is much later in the timeline than FTWD that you could explain them showing up.
But most people would call it a shark jump unless events on FTWD made it clear they were headed for a meeting.
