We got the pilot of The Walking Dead!

The 8th season of The Walking Dead is still far away so what better than going back to the beginning to see a little bit the Rick & co’s progress.
It’s been a long time, 7 years already, so we help you a little bit to remember what’s going on in the very first episode of The Walking Dead, “Days Gone Bye.” And to set the tone, it is well with a zombie kid with bloodshot eyes that the series begins , to put Rick – and we – direct in the mood. Normal .
Hop, after this entry, we are immersed in a flashback with a smiling Shane ( yes we know, it is rare ) and a Rick without beard ( even rarer! ) Who speak chicks and macho jokes while eating fries. We knew how to have fun before in The Walking Dead but it’s more the same atmosphere 7 seasons and at least 10 main characters dead later !
But as we know, it will not last and the two BFFs end up in a chase that goes badly, especially for Rick.
And then comes one of the most beautiful grammatical prowess of the series: Do not Dead Open Inside – bin yes, maybe it would have been simpler to write it otherwise;) But the message is past and Rick quickly made decamp.
Rick then discovers all the dead bodies – at the time when the series still had the faith to make them fly around – lined up next to the hospital with a slightly horrified look but not too much. We do not know you but we if we emerged from a coma and it was literally the apocalypse, we would have probably cracked a little more than that … But hey, is not Rick Grimes who wants. The little freak out comes later, when he sees the first undead in his life … and he rides a red bike.
Fortunately, Morgan is there to teach him the tricks of the trade … after his son put him a good shovel in the face because he was well educated. Already paranoid, but that’s what makes her charm, right?
After a short drive to fill up with weapons – but no food because we can not do everything we should not mess up – Rick sets out for Atlanta to find his family while Morgan learns to shoot at his son because That division is strength, is well known.
An unsuccessful radio exchange later, we find on the other end of the line a part of the base group: Dale, Amy, Shane, Lori and Carl, all tiny mimi , installed in tents and camper. If they knew that in a few years, some would be installed in houses with oven and hot cookies (thanks Carol) …
Rick is playing cowbow to the end and continues to Atlanta on horseback. We already know that this is not a good idea, but it still gives us one of the most cult images of the series.
And it is with the soft voice of Glenn which treats Rick of moron locked up in a tank encircled of walkers that ends the episode. Phew, saved. Finally, almost … In the end, the very first episode of The Walking Dead pretty much aged, with zombies already impressive and a very nice rhythm. We even have the right to a small cliffhanger story to make the curious come back. We regret that more recent seasons have so few dialogues when we see that even with a small handful of characters, it does not fuss in the first episode. Still Star-Crossed: Top or flop for the new series produced by Shonda Rhimes (Gray’s Anatomy, Scandal …)? Our verdict!

Last night ABC was broadcasting the pilot of the new series of Shondaland to which one already owes Gray’s Anatomy or Scandal. What is Still Star-Crossed worth? They tell you everything!
That’s it, the new series made in Shondaland landed on ABC and the pilot of Still Star-Crossed was broadcast last night on the American channel. We propose you our verdict of this period drama to pitch known and recognized all over the world and attention to the spoilers! The overall opinion after only one episode is rather mixed. This adaptation of Melinda Taub’s novel that tells us what happens after the tragic deaths of Shakespeare’s two most famous teenagers has potential and it will probably take several episodes to actually get an opinion . For now, the feeling that reigns is confusion and surely also a point of disappointment. The pilot gives the impression of taking place in accelerated in the first part in order to quickly arrive at the death of Romeo and Juliet that everyone expects. This leaves very little time to set the scene and introduce us to the many characters that all seem to have an important role.
Of course, it’s not like we do not know history, but we like to have the time to put names on all faces anyway, especially when the distinction between Capulet and Montaigu is so important. The second part of the episode lays the foundation for the rest of the season: Verona is in danger and while the Capulet and Montaigu settle their (numerous) accounts, the city is prey to any assailant from the Outside . The enlargement of the universe of the series is interesting although it will probably not be at the heart of the next episodes. This awareness on the part of the few characters who still have the distance pushes them to organize a marriage between Rosaline Capulet and Benvolio Montaigu to weld the two families. But since it is indeed a drama that one looks at, The flashbacks emphasize the love of Rosalind for Prince Escalus who ordered his marriage while we discover that Paris; Fiancé of Juliette, did not die after his confrontation with Romeo.
In short, the period drama bears its name well and announces quite a lot of tragedies between the two families. Yet despite the confusion, some elements were still very much appreciated, especially the sets and costumes. The staging is impressive and plunges us directly into the atmosphere, not to mention the different scenes of combat that proved rather realistic and well orchestrated . The various casting has proved its worth and it remains only to hope that the plot and the dialogues follow to keep an interesting rhythm without toppling in the predictable nonsense. While waiting to discover the next episodes of Still Star-Crossed, you were also told about the new series Marvel which could shade the series DC Comics !

Legion: Episode 2, in the head of David, our critic

After a first successful opus, Legion continues to plunge us into the universe of mutant David Haller with his episode 2. Discover our review of “Chapter 2”!
The key to his powers is in his head. Last week, the American channel FX broadcast the first episode of Legion, the series based on the X-Men franchise . With his somewhat barred universe that takes us on a lot of different tracks, this episode ended on a much more concrete stage, the incredible rescue of David who was retained by the mysterious Division 3. We find our hero within Summeland, a center for mutants led by Melanie Bird, which is reminiscent of Professor X’s academy. Besides, David’s speech to the fact that he is not sick, He has a gift, that’s Charles Xavier in the text. Sydney is always present with David, and one feels that ”
But in the hope of helping her control her powers, Melanie and the very interesting Ptonomy Wallace make her relive several moments of her past. And that’s where it slips! As in the first episode, you have to cling to your screen to get everything. David rediscovers a childhood he had forgotten, but everything is not rosy. He finds it hard to keep up with even his new allies at his side. Fascinating but confusing characters continue their ubiquity, the young Lenny and the devil with the yellow eyes at the head. We are plunged into David’s head, and we quickly get to the game even if we regret an intrigue that does not advance much. One feels that Legion, as a series apart, needs a lot of time to lay down its foundations and impose its style.
Still, it is especially at the end that things begin to move, when David, decidedly a real laboratory rat, discovers that his sister Amy is in danger and decides to go to his rescue. Besides, one begins to imagine the extent of his powers: if he is able to locate a person very clearly anywhere, it can become even more effective than the Cerebro of Charles Xavier. After two episodes, we understand that Legion is not there to make fan-service X-Men lovers , but that she draws in this universe very rich to propose something very different. Between absurdity, horror and reflection, Legion has great potential and the talent of its main actor Dan Stevens is no stranger.

We propose you to discover our ranking of the series that marked us during the month of September 2016. So, who will be number 1?
The month of January 2017 is already coming to an end and if all the series have not been present – or only partially – in recent weeks, we still had our dose of twists, emotions and surprises. You can also find our program series of the week including Clem, Vikings or The 100 , on melty. As always, it was difficult to make choices and rank the series, but we kept only those – we believe – marked the first months of 2017. In addition, do not hesitate to Share your Top Series personal in the comments. Without further ado then discover our classification of the month of January:
8 – The Vampire Diaries
The return of The Vampire Diaries , last burst of episodes before the end, is quite successful especially because the series plays the nostalgia card and for people who follow the show for the first time, it ‘ always a pleasure . Between the election of Miss Mystic Falls, Stefan en Ripper and the return of certain characters, we had our dose of emotions and good moments to savor. The intrigue around the sirens is now firmly rooted in the mythology of the series and fits much better than the one of last year with the Heretics. As we approach the end of the series, we feel more and more that it will be hard to say goodbye to this world and its characters.
7 – Riverdale
Last week, The CW has launched a new series called Riverdale inspired by Archie Comics. This teen drama signed Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash) drew our attention because it combines several genres including and especially a teenager stimulus series. We loved to delve into the rather dark world of this small town drama will come shake people’s lives . The characters are rather endearing and we are eager to see if the next episodes will confirm the good impression given by the premiere season. In any case, we strongly recommend you leave a chance to the series.
6 – Agents of SHIELD
Agents of SHIELD continues its momentum with episodes always dynamic and full of twists. The mystery around Melinda May and her double android finally finds some answers but no resolution yet to offer us more suspense. With a plot that quickly advance and development always important characters – including Mack in past episodes – Agents of SHIELD gives us a well-rounded season and the friendliest watching . It remains to be seen when May will manage to escape and if Coulson and his team can get rid of his double LMD …
5 – How To Get Away With Murder
How to Get Away with Murder gets fifth in our top with a full recovery revelations but less surprising than what we expected. The first winter has finally shown us how Michaela, Laurel, Asher, Connor, Oliver and especially Annalise responded just after the death of Wes and the least we can say is that things are looking complicated . In addition to that, we had the right to many answers to crucial questions that had been asked for weeks but the episode turned out to be more informative than exciting and the twists to which Pete Nowalk has inhabited us n ‘Were not really there. Nevertheless “We’re Bad People” still a nice recovery episode that makes us want to know how will unfold following the series with a main character less.
4 – Scandal
Scandal was finally back after a very – too – long break and with an explosive episode. Olivia Pope is back and with it the reversals of situations of which only Shonda Rhimes has the secret. The least we can say is that we had our share of surprises in the space of forty-two minutes, notably thanks to the revelations following the presidential elections. The scenes between Mellie and Olivia loved, and Mellie and Fitz – which we did not annoyed in the first season – but also the powerful monologues delivered by Olivia and Abby . This episode announces a very good season and it is hoped that it will continue this momentum!
3 – This is Us
There is no longer a free Top Series This Is Us , our favorite series of the 2016-2017 season. Always as constant in the quality of the intrigues that we propose, it is a pleasure to follow the stories of these characters as true as natures. The latest episode has simply upset us and we wonder how the season will end. Fortunately, we can already reassure ourselves with the fact that This is Us has already been renewed for two seasons.
2 – Gray’s Anatomy
What a recovery! After weeks of waiting, the 13 season of Grey’s Anatomy has finally resumed with an intense episode in which you can find our review of melty. Certainly, we did not have many answers regarding the great plot of the season: Alex. But instead, the series offered us a well-paced, well-conducted and touching episode. By choosing to Arizona, and Jo Bailey in the middle of the first winter, Grey’s Anatomy is a small homecoming to prove that we should not necessarily much to make a good episode . A particular patient, unusual working conditions and characters that work well together can be the recipe for success. Moreover the answer on the fate of Alex brought by Bailey at the end of the episode could be a little frustrating but simply gives us even more want to be next week to know finally how this whole situation will evolve.
1 – Vikings
This second part of Season 4 of Vikings is full of twists and renewal. While we had to mourn a character dear to our hearts in this month of January, the series does not hesitate to take great risks to renew itself and remain surprising and coherent. One thing is certain, this character we already lack much, but it totally redistributes power cards and it’s just exciting to watch . It remains only one episode in this brilliant season – which will air Wednesday in the United States – and already look forward to find out, especially after the end of episode 19 of season 4 of Vikings. Teen Wolf, The Vampire Diaries, Vikings: The record of US audiences of the week!

Like every Saturday, it’s time to take stock of the American audiences of your favorite series. So who’s on top, who makes a flop? Discover it now!
The series continue gradually to return to the American screens – and to our delight. While the CW has already renewed its 7 series, including The Flash, Supergirl and Arrow , it is time to take stock of the hearings of the series that aired this week in the US. Sunday : Without much competition is that CBS continues to dominate the Sunday night including NCIS: Los Angeles which brought 10.4 million viewers with a 1.3% rate over 18-49 years, followed by Madam Secretary (9 million and 0.9%) and Elementary (5.14 million and 0.7%). Meanwhile, ABC proposed Conviction which is slightly higher with 2.7 million and 0.5%. Finally, there were 650 000 people (0.2%) to The Affair on Showtime. Monday : There were two series broadcast Monday. The Odd Couple , which was followed by 5.05 million curious on CBS with a rate of 1% on the target. And Shadowhunters which gathered 750,000 fans (0.3%) on Freeform.
Tuesday : This Is Us was finally back this week on NBC and takes the top spot since there were 10.48 million viewers to episode 11 and with a share of 3% in 18-49 years, the series returns up from the mid-season finale in December . The family comedies ABC, The Middle (7.30 million and 1.7%) and American Housewife (5.93 million and 1.5%) from Tuesday are still doing as well and remain stable. The return of Agents of SHIELD , however, is far less vague but still comes up slightly with 2.72 million fans to episode 9 and 0.8% on the target. Despite the fact that FOX has ordered additional episodes to The Mick , hearings of the series continue to decline, with only 2.97 million and 1.2%. New Girl (2.48 million and 1.1%) and Bones (3.31 million and 0.9%) remained stable. It is the same for No Tomorrow (700 000 and 0.2%) on the CW. On MTV, there were 430,000 people before the episode 7 of season 6 of Teen Wolf , the series remained stable, while only 60,000 have followed curious Sweet / Vicious .
Wednesday : No Empire , it is the family comedies ABC, Modern Family (7.59 million and 2.3%), The Goldbergs (6.92 million and 2%), Speechless (5.93 million and 1.8 %) and Black-ish (5.68 million and 1.7%) continue to reign on Wednesday evening. On NBC, Chicago PD was followed by 6.6 million viewers and 1.5%, remaining stable, while New York: Special Victims Unit (SVU) decrease slightly with 6.05 million people and 1.4% the target, as Blindspot (5.01 million and 1%). On the side of CBS, Criminal Minds attracted 7.54 million curious with a rate of 1.4% over 18-49 years, while there were 6.33 million Americans (0.9%) before Black code . Lethal Weapon (6.48 million and 1.4%) returns to Star in terms of hearings, on FOX. Indeed, Star still loses viewers with 4.25 million afficionados and more than 1.4% on the target. Vikings remained stable History with 2.42 million people before episode 17 , and it is the same for Frequency (740,000 and 0.2%) on the CW.
Thursday : This week there was no new episode of The Big Bang Theory and without the boost, some series of CBS experiencing a decline in their hearings. The Great Indoors, for example, lost more than 2 million televiewers, raising 7.15 million (1.4%) compared to 9.67 million (1.9%) the previous week, and the same for Mom (7.39 million and 1.3%) . Conversely, Life in Pieces (5.95 million and 1.2%) and Pure Genius (5.15 million and 0.9%) slightly back. Meanwhile, on NBC, Chicago Med is up and collected 6.87 million people with a rate of 1.3%, as The Good Place (3.64 million and 1.1%) which is renewed Still a possibility. However, Superstore (4.33 million and 1.2%) and The Blacklist (5.34 million and 1%) remain stable. Finally, there were 1.11 million fans (0.3%) to Nashville on CMT. Friday : there were 1 million viewers (0.4%) to episode 8 of season 8 of The Vampire Diaries on the CW, the series remains stable. What do you think ?

Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Westworld … Who will win the Golden Globe of the best drama series?

The Golden Globes are held tonight in the United States. Who of Game of Thrones, The Crown, Westworld, Stranger Things and This is Us will win the Best Drama Series?

Tonight stands the 74th Golden Globes ceremony in Los Angeles, California, in which the Hollywood Foreign Press Association award for the best film and American television. This year the ceremony will be broadcast on NBC and it is Jimmy Fallon who will have the heavy task to animate the evening and to pass after the inimitable Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. In this article we decided to take an interest in a particular category, that of the Best Dramatic Series. Five series compete for the title this year, Game of Thrones, This Is Us, The Crown, Westworld and Stranger Things . In fact, with the exception of Game of Thrones, this is where the novelties of the year 2016. This is the fourth time the HBO series, Game of Thrones is named in that category and Has for the moment never won the title. In 2012, she lost against Homeland , then it was The Affair in 2015 and finally Mr. Robot last year.
The victory of Game of Thrones is it this year? In any case, the competition looks tough since each of these series deserve to win. The last season was certainly very good, especially on these last episodes but is it the weight in front of the novelties? Westworld , for example, also after HBO, comes as a great rival, especially because it has often been heralded as the next generation of Game of Thrones . Moreover, the US site Vanity Fair believes that it is the drama of Netflix, The Crown will win the prize . It has therefore been more than ten years since the Hollywood Foreign Press Association acclaimed the cable series or VOD platforms (Netflix, Amazon). This Is Us was much talked about at the end of 2016 and would deserve to triumph in this category because it is a series that is enormously with simple things. Moreover, know that This Is Us and The OA, The Walking Dead, and many others are part of our Top December 2016 Series . Westworld season 2: What we want to see in the next episodes

Until 2018, Westworld continues to obsess us! What are the intrigues you really want to see in Season 2?

Not easy to recover from the season 1 of Westworld ! It was a long time ago that a series had not made us such an effect. Unfortunately, to find the new episodes of this small nugget, one must take his trouble patiently. It is indeed in 2018 that will return for its season 2 Westworld . Meanwhile, many questions and other theories trotted in our little heads and our expectations for the next episodes are quite HUGE one must admit. Hoping that the show HBO (released in France on OCS ) to live up to his return, that the intrigue that we absolutely want to find in the second chapter of Westworld …
The revolution in several parks … and outside?
We know this new season Westworld looks totally chaotic and bloody. As the tease the different members of the show team, finished playing, the serious things finally start. Robots are not going to stop there and the human team should take very very expensive . At the head of this revolution, Dolores should still surprise us … and she is not the only one! Will we finally discover the outside world (which, according to our latest information is in 2052)? What is certain is that of new parks will be introduced as Samurai World we discovered in the Season Finale. The universe Westworld will therefore greatly widen (it will still be expensive to HBO that!) And, to our delight! A bigger world, but what about time? Will there still be several timelines? Mystery…
The last round of Dr. Ford
Difficulty we still have to believe in the death of Ford … Already because it would really sucks not find Anthony Hopkins in Season 2, but because we want to believe that the co-creator of the park Had one last trick in his bag! Did he create a robot in his image to leave him the pleasure of taking a bullet in the head in his place? Will he be present in another form during the next episodes? One thing is certain, it is hoped that the legacy of Ford will be missed in this season 2 Westworld ! Maybe thanks to this good old Bernard?
William aka the Man in black aka the ally of the robots?
Now that the mystery of his identity has FINALLY been resolved and we already know that Ed Harris will be back in season 2 of Westworld , one wonders what will make our dear William. He was left in a dirty position in the final minutes of the season finale but like any naughty self-respecting gentleman is apparently released (free?)! What will be his next thrust? Which team will it join during this ambient chaos that promises? We’d love to see the side of the robots in the next episodes of Westworld , do not you?
After a season wanting to take control and leave the park that kept her prisoner, Maeve finally backed off in the final minutes of the Season Finale. A poignant and unexpected scene which proved once again that it is one of the pillars of the series. Revenue in the park for her daughter Maeve should make every effort to find her . Knowing her, those who will cross her way should spend a dirty quarter of an hour! How will she get her hand on her kid while the robot revolt is raging? As in the first season of Westworld , plot Maeve likely to be our favorite!
This is the downside of this first season. Accustomed to the roles of knight without substance , James Marsden has not really had to work his game to slip into the skin of Teddy, the beloved Dolores. If throughout the episodes we wondered what was really the interest of this character, the Season Finale made us see a new side of Teddy … Does it be exploited as it should be in season 2 of Westworld ? We hope so! What role will he play in robot revolt now that he seems detached from his precious Dolores? Answer in 2018!
Well, you’ll understand that we expect LOTS of Season 2 of Westworld (and it is clearly not the only ones)! Nolan and his fine team have all the cards and the time necessary to produce a second chapter as rich and intriguing as the season 1 … And you, what are you waiting for upcoming episodes?
