Legion: Episode 2, in the head of David, our critic

After a first successful opus, Legion continues to plunge us into the universe of mutant David Haller with his episode 2. Discover our review of “Chapter 2”!
The key to his powers is in his head. Last week, the American channel FX broadcast the first episode of Legion, the series based on the X-Men franchise . With his somewhat barred universe that takes us on a lot of different tracks, this episode ended on a much more concrete stage, the incredible rescue of David who was retained by the mysterious Division 3. We find our hero within Summeland, a center for mutants led by Melanie Bird, which is reminiscent of Professor X’s academy. Besides, David’s speech to the fact that he is not sick, He has a gift, that’s Charles Xavier in the text. Sydney is always present with David, and one feels that ”
But in the hope of helping her control her powers, Melanie and the very interesting Ptonomy Wallace make her relive several moments of her past. And that’s where it slips! As in the first episode, you have to cling to your screen to get everything. David rediscovers a childhood he had forgotten, but everything is not rosy. He finds it hard to keep up with even his new allies at his side. Fascinating but confusing characters continue their ubiquity, the young Lenny and the devil with the yellow eyes at the head. We are plunged into David’s head, and we quickly get to the game even if we regret an intrigue that does not advance much. One feels that Legion, as a series apart, needs a lot of time to lay down its foundations and impose its style.
Still, it is especially at the end that things begin to move, when David, decidedly a real laboratory rat, discovers that his sister Amy is in danger and decides to go to his rescue. Besides, one begins to imagine the extent of his powers: if he is able to locate a person very clearly anywhere, it can become even more effective than the Cerebro of Charles Xavier. After two episodes, we understand that Legion is not there to make fan-service X-Men lovers , but that she draws in this universe very rich to propose something very different. Between absurdity, horror and reflection, Legion has great potential and the talent of its main actor Dan Stevens is no stranger.

Riverdale: Episode 2, a suspect arrested, our critic

While Archie hesitated to talk to the police, a first suspect was arrested in episode 2 of Riverdale. Discover our review of “Chapter Two: A Touch of Evil”.
Is the Riverdale series worth a look? After the first episode aired last week, we showed you our verdict . As much to say that the pilot had convinced us and wanted to see the continuation of the teen show that wants to be very different from the other series proposed by the CW. Episode 2 of Riverdale he confirmed our first impression? The editorial of melty you to discover his criticism of “Chapter Two: A Touch of Evil.” As you can imagine, the discovery of the dead body of Jason Blossom, shot with a bullet in his head, destroyed all the hopes of the inhabitants and plunged the city in an even more burdensome atmosphere than before. Meanwhile, the town sheriff made an announcement to the effect that the investigation Blossom Jason is now a homicide investigation . Cheryl wants his revenge and even throws a hashtag to find the culprit. There is one who lives with her time! Following the strange behavior of Archie, the main Weatherbee and his best friend Jughead, begins to suspect in Riverdale . While Betty finally has more trouble to forget her weekend, Weatherbee asks to talk to Archie who begins to panic. Geraldine Grundy confesses her feelings are true and convinces him to say nothing to protect their story. Except that Jughead sees them! Later, Veronica and Betty argue and Archie BFF proves that it is perhaps not as nice she looks. As she gets closer to Cheryl, she asks a ton of questions about her sister Polly, Jason’s girlfriend. Cheryl suggests she could have killed her brother. Betty is out of her and shows her dark side by promising to kill her if she does not leave home. Is the sweet Betty finally able to kill in Riverdale? Mystery! Meanwhile, Jughead thinks that Mrs Grundy is trying to convince Archie to keep quiet to protect herself and that she is playing with him. The tone rises and this time it is the hero who shows his dark side!
The next day, Alice purifies her daughter’s room after passing Cheryl. That made us laugh! But she still prevents Betty from visiting her sister. Reggie, whom we will also love to hate, accuses Jughead then Archie of having killed Jason which triggers a fight but also convinces the hero to speak in the main. While the football game, dedicated to Jason, begins, Cheryl feels like seeing her brother in Archie. She bursts into tears and confesses to Veronica that her brother was supposed to come back. Whaaaat? Would Jason have engineered his disappearance that would have gone wrong? Probably! As Archie goes to the Principal’s office, the Sheriff comes in and arrests Cheryl, who confesses herself to being guilty. In addition, we learn that Jason is not dead on July 4 but a week later. But what really happened? If this second episode of Riverdale was less than revelation, the twist and the final confession was even more surprising and disturbing as the driver. The mystery is getting bigger and personalities are unveiling more and more. We wait to see episode 3 of Riverdale early Thursday evening. Gray’s Anatomy, The Vampire Diaries, Vikings: The record of US audiences of the week!

Like every Saturday, it’s time to take stock of the American audiences of your favorite series. So who’s on top, who makes a flop? Discover it now!
The return of the series continues with ever return including the famous TGIT of Shonda Rhimes with the season 13 Grey’s Anatomy , Season 6 and Scandal Season 3 of How to Get Away with Murder. As every week, it’s time to find out if your favorite shows were viewed much . Sunday is the FOX series Son of Zorn who dominated the evening with 2 million viewers and a 0.9% rate. She was closely followed by The Librarians of TNT with 1.97 million fans (0.5%). Monday is on CBS that everything was as Kevin Can Wait (8.62 million and 1.7%), Two Broke Girls (7.06 million and 1.7%), Man with a Plan (7.69 million and 1.6%) and Scorpion (7.77 million and 1.3%) clearly captivated viewers. On FOX Lucifer is slightly increased (4.17 million and 1.2%) while Gotham remains stable (3.60 million and 1.2%). ABC Quantico back up slightly with 2.90 million viewers and 0.8% while on the CW Supergirl suffered a small decline (2.65 million and 0.8%) as Jane the Virgin (990 000 0 , 4%). Finally on Freeform Shadowhunters is also down with 640,000 viewers against 810,000 last week and a rate of 0.3%.
Tuesday is still dominating the NBC evening thanks to the excellent This Is Us that gathered 9.63 million viewers, 2.8% of the target followed by Chicago Fire (7.38 million, 1.8%) . CBS has yet attracted 16.21 million people in front of NCIS but with a lower rate of 1.9%. On the same chain, Bull and NCIS: New Orleans gathered 11.17 million fans, respectively (1.3%) and 9.18 million (1.1%). On FOX The Mick decline slightly (2.76 million and 1%) as The New Girl (2.35 million and 0.9%) while Bones back (3.05 million and 0.9%). On the CW superhero back down with The Flash (2.68 million and 0.9%) and Legends of Tomorrow (1.74 million, 0.6%) but ABC Agents of SHIELD remains stable (2,000,000 and 0 , 6%). Finally MTV is doing well because Teen Wolf (490,000 and 0.2%) and Sweet / Vicious (240,000 and 0.1%) are both rising.
Wednesday is Lethal Weapon on FOX, which has attracted the most viewers (6.28 million and 1.4%) while on History, Vikings remained stable (2.41 million and 0.7%). Arrow on the CW comes back with a small decline to 1.68 million viewers for a rate of 0.6% while Frequency back a little (790,000 and 0.3%). On USA, Suits slightly lower returns (1.37 million and 0.3%).
Thursday TGIT came back strongly and so is ABC that dominated the evening with Meredith, Olivia and Annalise. Grey’s Anatomy attracted 9.59 million fans and 2.6% of the target while season 6 Scandal has started on the hubcaps (7.62 million, 2%) and How to Get Away with Murder has Followed by 5.41 million people and a rate of 1.5%. On the CW Supernatural quietly continues with 1.72 million and a rate of 0.6% while Riverdale made a good start with 1,380,000 curious (0.5%). On USA Colony down a bit compared to last week (780 000 0.3%) as Nashville on CMT (930,000 and 0.2%).
Finally Friday the new episode of The Vampire Diaries on the CW drew 960,000 people and a rate of 0.3% , far behind Dr. Ken ABC (5.21 million and 1%) or Grimm NBC (4, 18 million and 0.8%). On the same channel, Emerald City suffered a small decline with 2.74 million viewers and 0.6%. What do you think ?

Westworld season 2: What we want to see in the next episodes

Until 2018, Westworld continues to obsess us! What are the intrigues you really want to see in Season 2?

Not easy to recover from the season 1 of Westworld ! It was a long time ago that a series had not made us such an effect. Unfortunately, to find the new episodes of this small nugget, one must take his trouble patiently. It is indeed in 2018 that will return for its season 2 Westworld . Meanwhile, many questions and other theories trotted in our little heads and our expectations for the next episodes are quite HUGE one must admit. Hoping that the show HBO (released in France on OCS ) to live up to his return, that the intrigue that we absolutely want to find in the second chapter of Westworld …
The revolution in several parks … and outside?
We know this new season Westworld looks totally chaotic and bloody. As the tease the different members of the show team, finished playing, the serious things finally start. Robots are not going to stop there and the human team should take very very expensive . At the head of this revolution, Dolores should still surprise us … and she is not the only one! Will we finally discover the outside world (which, according to our latest information is in 2052)? What is certain is that of new parks will be introduced as Samurai World we discovered in the Season Finale. The universe Westworld will therefore greatly widen (it will still be expensive to HBO that!) And, to our delight! A bigger world, but what about time? Will there still be several timelines? Mystery…
The last round of Dr. Ford
Difficulty we still have to believe in the death of Ford … Already because it would really sucks not find Anthony Hopkins in Season 2, but because we want to believe that the co-creator of the park Had one last trick in his bag! Did he create a robot in his image to leave him the pleasure of taking a bullet in the head in his place? Will he be present in another form during the next episodes? One thing is certain, it is hoped that the legacy of Ford will be missed in this season 2 Westworld ! Maybe thanks to this good old Bernard?
William aka the Man in black aka the ally of the robots?
Now that the mystery of his identity has FINALLY been resolved and we already know that Ed Harris will be back in season 2 of Westworld , one wonders what will make our dear William. He was left in a dirty position in the final minutes of the season finale but like any naughty self-respecting gentleman is apparently released (free?)! What will be his next thrust? Which team will it join during this ambient chaos that promises? We’d love to see the side of the robots in the next episodes of Westworld , do not you?
After a season wanting to take control and leave the park that kept her prisoner, Maeve finally backed off in the final minutes of the Season Finale. A poignant and unexpected scene which proved once again that it is one of the pillars of the series. Revenue in the park for her daughter Maeve should make every effort to find her . Knowing her, those who will cross her way should spend a dirty quarter of an hour! How will she get her hand on her kid while the robot revolt is raging? As in the first season of Westworld , plot Maeve likely to be our favorite!
This is the downside of this first season. Accustomed to the roles of knight without substance , James Marsden has not really had to work his game to slip into the skin of Teddy, the beloved Dolores. If throughout the episodes we wondered what was really the interest of this character, the Season Finale made us see a new side of Teddy … Does it be exploited as it should be in season 2 of Westworld ? We hope so! What role will he play in robot revolt now that he seems detached from his precious Dolores? Answer in 2018!
Well, you’ll understand that we expect LOTS of Season 2 of Westworld (and it is clearly not the only ones)! Nolan and his fine team have all the cards and the time necessary to produce a second chapter as rich and intriguing as the season 1 … And you, what are you waiting for upcoming episodes?
