The Originals Season 4: Episode 9, The Sacrifice of SPOILER, Our Critic

Last night, the American channel The CW broadcast episode 9 of season 4 of The Originals. Then discover our review of “Queen Death”, pay attention to the spoilers!
Are we really losing another member of the Original Family? Indeed, episode 9 of season 4 of The Originals ended with the sacrifice of Elijah which allowed the rebirth of the Hollow . It must be admitted that “Queen Death” is a rather confusing episode in which there is a lot of things happening without always understanding the ins and outs. Moreover, the fact that the characters change several times of plan of attack does not help in anything and everything that turns around the Hollow remains still vague. The episode begins while Elijah is dying at low fire, poisoned by Marcel’s venom. Sofya, still possessed by the Hollow, promises to return Elijah if her family gives her the last missing bone for her rebirth.
All the characters are then on the war foot. Vincent wants at all costs to prevent the Hollow from returning, even to sacrifice Elijah for the good of all. Marcel wants to save Sofya. And, of course, Hayley and the Mikaelson want to save Elijah. Negotiations are not easy, especially because we still feel resentment in Vincent’s words, after all, the Mikaelson had not hesitated to sacrifice Davina. After much reflection, they still manage to find a plan to try to save everyone, but this will involve Klaus’ sacrifice. The latter is ready to put his life in danger to protect his daughter and Freya must recover his soul to put it in the pendant that had been occupied once by the soul of Finn.
Vincent can not complete the ritual of Klaus’ sacrifice and the Hollow is too powerful to allow Freya and Hayley to save Elijah. As we witness the death of the latter, we can see the blue light of the Hollow becoming more and more intense, feeding on the strength of the Mikaelson. Their rescue operation did fail and it is unclear whether their last-minute idea of putting Elijah in the pendant worked. If Hope and Freya end up seeing and hearing Elijah, he is far away and they hear him scream. Does this mean that we must keep hope for Elijah? If the emotion is very strong after the death of Elijah, the lack of clarity on what is happening makes lose intensity to the scene and is a shame. The episode of The Originals ends with the rebirth of the Hollow – in a fairly disgusting scene, it must be confessed – that takes again human form, one thinks that the worst is yet to come for the Mikaelson, their allies and even all The people of New Orleans. Reign Season 4: Episode 9, Did Mary Marry Darnley? Our criticism

Check out our review of Episode 9 of Season 4 of Reign, which aired last night on the American channel The CW.
Mary has a choice to make in this episode 9 of season 4 of Reign because the big day arrives but its relation with Darnley is not in the fixed position. Fortunately, she can count on the help of Catherine who has moved to attend the wedding and who always finds a way to turn the situation to her advantage. To see Catherine and Mary together gave us a lot of pleasure, a pity that it only really lasts for an episode, since we barely seen it in episode 8 of season 4 of Reign which was broadcast the week The last. Mary would like to have her marriage canceled with Darnley, but she does not know how to do without scolding the Scottish population or the Vatican. Furthermore,
However, an event in Mary’s life will change everything: she learns that she is pregnant with Darnley. Mary can no longer consider canceling her marriage because her child would become a bastard and could not be her legitimate heir. Change plan so, now she must do everything to make sure Darnley is going to stand well. But while the whole castle is gathered to indulge in a little game, the future King of Scotland has disappeared. There is no challenge that Catherine De Medicis can not meet and she then confronts Darnley’s mother in order to find out what her son is doing. The scene between the two women is both masterful and very funny, and without surprises it is Catherine who has the last word . Darnley is simply plotting with the Vatican behind his bride’s back because both have a common will: to become the true Scottish sovereign in Mary’s place. We are reminded very quickly that we find ourselves in an extremely sexist period when men do not accept to see women in power, thinking they are incapable of governing properly. Sighs.
Thanks to Catherine who spurted the piece to Darnley’s mother, Mary discovers the pot-aux-roses and puts an end to their negotiations, returning Darnley to the castle like a vulgar disobedient child. A scene just before the royal wedding shows us the real face of Darnley – while this one is drunk – where he makes it clear to Mary that he will not make any effort to change. His character is infantilized, which clearly urges us to hate him and wish Mary to escape with Bothwell. But the wedding does take place, and Mary will start what promises to be already a complicated married life. Episode 9 of Season 4 of Reign ends in England where one discovers Elizabeth’s reaction to her rival’s marriage. Anger, Fear and sadness seized the Queen of England, who was in the midst of a crisis, and who attacked the portrait of her father. Rachel Skarsten makes us shiver and we feel her distress . Fortunately, she can count on the support of Gideon who is willing to fight for her and the English throne. This new episode of Reign brings together all that we love in the series: entertainment, shenanigans, reversals of situation and emotions. Unfortunately, Catherine must return to France and this saddens us because her duet with Mary is still working as well. What did you think of this episode? Vikings season 4: Back on 5 key moments!

While waiting to know when the series will return, let’s back on 5 key moments of the season 4 of Vikings!
Highlights! While we were wondering when Vikings season 5 would start , on the American cable channel History , it’s time to go back with the 5 key moments we were offered to see in the latest episode.
THE BOND IN TIME
We had not seen him coming, yet the final midseason ended in an impressive leap in time. This one is of capital importance in the second half of season 4 of Vikings since the cards are redistributed. Ragnar lost his prestige, Bjorn rose as the true leader of Kattegat, governed by an Aslaug carried on the drink. He also allowed us to get acquainted with the four sons of Ragnar so each one presents a facet of the personality of their father. This leap in time has changed the course of the series’s history and we just regret not having had an episode focusing on Ragnar’s experience during the past lapse of time .
LAGERTHA TAKES POWER ON KATTEGAT
Although we may wonder why she waited so long to take action, Lagertha finally takes power over Kattegat, killing Aslaug in passing. Her revenge is accomplished and she finally has what she believes to be her own. This takeover had consequences on our perception of Lagertha, but also on the Viking city since it has great ambitions for Kattegat. It puts in place the construction of defensive fortifications and these new stakes evidently bring about new confrontations. During this half-season, Kattegat has gone from being a simple village to a central character and we expect major events to take place there.
THE FIRST APPARITION OF HEAHMUND
The first scene where we discover the character played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers, on which we told you more and which will be at the heart of season 5 of Vikings , is not transcendent and does not teach us much, if it Is that this religious has an impressive sword and that he does not respect his vow of chastity. However, we know that Heahmund will deliver impressive fights against our warriors and that he will be their main enemy in the next episodes . We strongly urge him to take action.
THE DEPARTURE OF FLOKI

There have been many deaths throughout the season and all are important, nevertheless that of Ragnar is major since it marks the end of an era. We knew it would happen sooner or later, but we did not expect it at that time, not half the second half of the season. Although incredibly well directed and almost poetic, the death of Ragnar was a difficult time . His body was not found by his sons, the actor assures him that he will not return, but we always hope to see his spirit, beyond his voice that often resonated after his death. Agents of SHIELD Season 4: Episode 9, a traitor in the ranks of SHIELD, our critic

Last night, the American channel ABC aired episode 9 of season 4 of Agents of SHIELD. Then discover our review of “Broken Promises”.

That revelations and twists in episode 9 of season 4 of Agents of SHIELD ! After months of absence, the series returns on hubcaps offering us an episode that officially launches the plot of LMD, with formidable AIDA and an unexpected ally . “Broken Promises” picks up where the mid-season finale left off and quickly episode of Agents of SHIELD will be divided into two separate plots. Let’s start with the one that involves AIDA. Back at the base of the SHIELD after the clash against Robbie’s uncle, the team decides to separate from AIDA because it could be dangerous – or at least erase the Darkhold from his memory. Unfortunately, when Radcliffe, Fitz and Coulson go there, they are not greeted with open arms by AIDA who already knows what they have come to do. It is discovered that she has made some modifications to her program and they realize that it is already too late: AIDA has betrayed them.
