You surely know, the French director Luc Besson decided to work alongside Cara Delevingne for his new film: Valérian and the City of the Thousand Planets . For months, Cara Delevingne never ceases to reveal clues about the film on her social networks. The one that bursts to death on Snapchat is really proud to be part of the heads of posters of this new fantastic feature and does not hesitate to let it know. It must be said that this last project realized by Luc Besson is very (very) expected by the public, and as proof. While awaiting the release of Valérian, some Internet users stamp on the Web, but for a strange reason.
It seems that, beyond the passion for the films of Luc Besson, that Cara Delevingne is awaited at the turn by the public. Will she be up to it? What we can already say is that the new teaser unveiled suggests in any case beautiful surprises. And some of his fans are already totally seduced. Others, on Twitter, say they were really looking forward to seeing Cara Delevingne with a shaved head in Valerian and the City of the Thousand Planets because she is beautiful … But what do they do? Of his talent? In any case, that they reassure, the feature film is coming out very soon, namely the 26 of July of 2017. Go to the cinema.
The post Cara Delevingne: Internet users impatient to see it in Valérian just for its beauty? first appeared on The Siver Times.

Death in cinema is a bit like lying in politics: indissociable. And to prove it, here is the list of the 10 most deadly movies, established by the site moviebodycounts.com. Mass murder movies that made the hemoglobin budget fart!
PS: Only the dead visible on the screen are counted, so exit the planet’s destruction coughs cough.
10. “We were Soldiers” by Randall Wallace
In the movie We Were Soldiers with Mel Gibson released in 2002, you could witness the death of no fewer than 305 people. Just that.
9. “Titanic” by James Cameron
Titanic is not only the film that makes you chialer, it is also one of the films that counts the greatest number of deaths (ah bah both so linked in fact …). There are 307 deaths in this film!
8. John Woo’s “Foolproof”
In Hard Boiled , the film directed by John Woo we are witnessing the death of 308 people.
7. “The Boulevard of Death” by Quentin Tarantino
Quentin Tarantino is a bloody director. The proof, in his film Boulevard de la mort , it ends the days of no less than 310 people.
6. “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers” by Peter Jackson
It dies of phew in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers . There are no less than 468 deaths in this second installment of the Lord of the Rings saga.
5. “The Last Samurai” by Edward Zick
The Last Samurai released in 2003 is a bloody film. The casualties amount to 558. Small anecdote: Tom Cruise almost died on the set. In fact, the actor did not decapitate during the filming of one of the scenes of combat of the film (that of the beginning in the fog) . The actor was on a robotic horse supposed to tilt him back at the time of a sword thrust. The system did not work, but the actor Hiroyuki Sanada managed to stop his blade a few centimeters from the star’s neck. Phew.
4. “Troy” by Wolfgang Petersen
Deaths, deaths everywhere in this film with Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Diane Kruger and Sean Bean. There are 572 people who die in this film.
3. “300” by Zack Snyder
300×2 = 600. It is the pile-hair the number of deaths that count in this film.
2. “Kingdom of Heaven” by Ridley Scott
The movie Kingdom of Heaven by Ridley Scott with Orlando Bloom and Liam Neeson counts 610 deaths, OKLM.
1. “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” by Peter Jackson
The film The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King directed by Peter Jackson not only has the record of the number of Oscars (cucou the 11 statuettes). No, the work can also claim to count the greatest number of deaths with its 836 victims.
The post The 10 deadliest movies, the hemoglobin budget has exploded! first appeared on The Siver Times.

With the multiplication of the adaptations of comics in film, it is necessary to analyze the performances of the actors. And some have planted well.
The habit does not make the monk, as they say. Accountability is shared with producers. They chose them, so the actors do what they are asked and what they can do. In any case, the cast proved to be a failure and the performances did not mark the spirits. Not in the right way anyway.
Nicolas Cage in Johnny Blaze / Ghost Rider
Nico was also mocked for his sometimes chelous roles, his ridiculous haircuts, his ability to do shit to pick up thunes, and also the fans of Ghost Rider. At the base scary character, it became rather funny and pathetic thanks to the actor . Finally, because of it, suddenly! A memorable performance, but not in the good sense of the word.
Jennifer Garner in Elektra
Level rage and strength, we saw better. And we could have hoped better, especially. Although she is physically fit, sharp, the actress did not meet expectations. Afterwards, there are those who plainly wanted a woman with features and a Greek appearance. Now, Jennifer Garner has no Greek origin, so good, here. Another detail that stings: the producers made a little finger to the fans by taking it back in the spin-off Elektra (2005), after his first role in Daredevil (2003).
Topher Grace in Eddie Brock / Venom
A guy at the top of the class, all cute, a gringalet. So he must incarnate Venom, perhaps the biggest enemy of Spiderman, his evil double, his black side. We would have seen a guy more violent, more flippant, more impressive . Kind with a square head and a neck of beef. Pity.
Halle Berry en Patience Phillips / Catwoman
It could have sticking. But no. The producers did not really respect the origins of the character already, and the actress did not really incarnate Catwoman. Apart from its suppleness and its beauty, question character, it was not folichon . A mixed record for Halle Berry, and this is not the first time to tell the truth.
Jesse Eisenberg in Lex Luthor
Nothing but the look did not fit at all, but then not at all. When you see the guy class, manly, mysterious, and bald comic, you imagine finding the same in the film . At last you hope! But here, a young, thin, long-haired, with a childish way of talking that brings him closer to a teenager, it shocks. So, ok, we catch Lex Luthor / Jesse Eisenberg bald, in his cell at the end, after waiting for the whole movie …
Keanu Reeves in Constantine
The producers had to say to themselves: “Ah vaaaaaa, the comic goes back to 20 pins, we do what we want, it passes .” Except that fans have memory, and that they like consistency. Respect their favorite characters. Seeing Constantine switch from platinum blonde sting to brown / black is already a bit con. Then see him change character, personality, seductive guy, smiling to the solitary, embittered, cold, even more. In terms of recipe, the film did what it needed. As for the kiff for fans, less. Other examples of disappointments in mind?
The post To incarnate a super hero or naughty, the costume is not enough first appeared on The Siver Times.

On the one hand, the matter is already there, we agree. The plot, the characters, their links, the important events … Nevertheless, the writing is not the same, between a series composed of multiple episodes and a good feature film in one go. We’ll have to ask the guys who dealt with these transitions to find out more. In any case, to say that one watches only series is exaggerated and one proves it by showing the examples where we look at cinematographic versions of what our parents were watching on TV .
Scooby-Doo
Distributed from 1969 to 1970 on CBS, the original series “Scooby-Doo, where are you?” Had introduced the four adolescent hunters of supernatural mysteries, aboard their van. More than forty years later, in 2002, a film was released with Freddie Prinze Junior and Sarah Michelle Gellar in particular. Well, well, it was not crazy . Some funny moments of course, nothing crazy despite everything. Our parents were lucky again. It was really better before.
Charlie and his funny ladies (Charlie’s Angels in VO)
Another thing that connects us to our parents. Or who differentiates us! At the time of its first broadcast between 1976 and 1981, the series stunned ABC. Normal, seeing three women played the main roles were not usual, far from it! The girl power and comedy-sexy side was out of the ordinary, with a success to the key. The film with Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu respects the delirium but it does not have the same flavor. The idea is necessarily less transgressive today, it is certain. After, question pognon, it goes because a sequel was still released on the big screen three years later, in 2003.
Starsky and Hutch
Go and find out why, you were singing that when you were a kid: “Starsky and Hutch, tininininin …” Surely a shot of the daron, or an uncle if not. No need to be Sherlock Holmes, the series was broadcast between 1975 and 1979 on ABC, so we can eliminate the possibility of having seen it live. It’s just that our elders have gravely kissed the two casual Bay City detectives, who were strutting in Starsky’s Gran Torino under the California sun. A buddy series that gave a buddy movie in 2004, displaying Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson as shock acolytes. Film not crazy that brought back the pennies he owed, so it passes.
The fugitive (The Fugitive in VO)
Attention, magic wand! From a series of 120 episodes, each of a duration of 51 minutes, boom: a 2-hour film. Obviously, the plot is not as much developed between Dr. Richard Kimble and police officer Samuel Gerard. Between the two, too, many years: 30, to be precise . The series was on ABC from 1963 (until 1967) while the film with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones squatted the cinema in 1993.
The Untouchables (The Untouchables in VO)
Probably the best adaptation, to credit Brian de Palma. Stretched over four highly fictional seasons (between 1959 and 1963), the original series on ABC focused more on the sides than the real fight against the prohibition of agent Eliot Ness. The 1987 film, where the agent is incarnated by Kevin Costner and the mafioso Al Capone by Robert De Niro, made much better the very special functioning of the economy in this era. Critical and commercial success, the feature film even brought back a trophy for the best supporting role to Sean Connery . Let us confirm all the same the basis: the works were both based on the memories of Eliot Ness and Oscar Fraley.
The Brady Tribe (The Brady Bunch in VO)
The least known of the lot, no doubt! Also broadcast on American ABC between 1969 and 1974, this series showed our parents the hectic life of a family of six children, with its share of parallel or cross stories. A nice thing, which does not break three legs to a duck and will even be canceled after five seasons. Before being taken with humor in a parodic film and successful in 1995 . The creators have just played on the old school side of the series, amplified it, made fun of it, while including us in delirium.
Impossible mission
And hop, second successful challenge for Brian de Palma! Because his film showing us Tom Cruise in BG mode in 1996 is well inspired by the series that CBS was rocking between 1966 and 1973 (and ABC, between 88 and 90). But evolution is obvious: more actions! The real and the actor have pushed the trick: one of the secret agents finds himself trapped by a mole, which puts to him the murders of the rest of the team on the back. Tom Cruise aka Ethan Hunt must then identify him, and it will move! Much more than during the five seasons when boss Dan Briggs said: “This band will self-destruct in …” Moreover, the actors of the series were in rageous mode, after the success of the film. One imagines their reaction after the sequels (a sixth film arrives in 2018).
The post Our parents matted the series, we film, it’s the world upside down first appeared on The Siver Times.

So as to say that this amazing film, which resembles no other, will have taken its time before reaching us. In the end, if it finally arrived in our dark rooms, it is thanks to its director Rupert Sanders ( Blanche Neige and the Hunter ), absolute fan of the universe of Ghost in the Shell . Melty also spoke with the director on the occasion of his visit to Paris in order to learn more about the behind-the-scenes of the film’s production. And what to know, Is that Rupert Sanders arrived on the project only very late , after being contacted by Steven Spielberg himself, who held the rights of adaptation. ” I joined the project when Steven Spielberg contacted me and asked me if I liked Ghost in the Shell, and I told him I was an unconditional fan. Asked me: ‘How would you do it?’ So I started to create a graphic novel inspired by the images and ideas that touched me most and I wrote the story of the film as I conceived it I brought him the graphic novel and he really liked my ideas and entrusted me with the film . ” Which held the rights of adaptation. ” I joined the project when Steven Spielberg contacted me and asked me if I liked Ghost in the Shell, and I told him I was an unconditional fan. So I started to create a graphic novel inspired by the images and ideas that touched me most and I wrote the story of the film as I conceived it. I brought him the graphic novel and he really liked my ideas and entrusted me with the film . “. How would you realize it? . So I started to create a graphic novel inspired by the images and ideas that touched me most and I wrote the story of the film as I conceived it. I brought him the graphic novel and he really liked my ideas and entrusted me with the film . “.
Then came the search for a very cosmopolitan casting able to incarnate the characters of Ghost in the Shell . For Rupert Sanders soon wanted to describe a city where all ethnicities and cultures would mix. ” I thought that in the future, […] we will live in increasingly cosmopolitan cities, I thought that Hong Kong could serve as a backdrop, and I wanted to have a cast of actors I admired the work in the cinema . ” The director went to meet Scarlett Johansson and Pilou Asbæak but also contacted Juliette Binoche, who told us about her character in Ghost in the Shell , And Takeshi Kitano – all the actors and actresses that had to be convinced to join the project. But for that, Rupert Sanders had a strong argument: his passion ! ” But I think they felt my passion for this universe, they saw the aspect of this world, and they thought it would be a unique opportunity,” he said in our interview. A unique opportunity for a unique film, that’s for sure!
Writing and performing Ghost in the Shell , Rupert Sanders obviously thought of the fans of his universe – of which he is a part – but also to those who know nothing about it. It was necessary not only to make the world and themes of Ghost in the Shell accessible to the neophytes while satisfying the fans. On this difficult balancing act, the director also gives us some details, confessing: ” We had to find the simplest way to enter [this universe]. I think if we had just done the Ghost in the Shell original, people would have been disoriented. We had to find a story that could introduce people to the universe of Ghost in the Shell . Action and spectacle are the two elements which,
And to satisfy the fans, Rupert Sanders of course made fun by including iconic scenes of the original works! ” I really asked myself, ‘As a fan, what would I like to see in the movie?’ “, He says. The head of geisha exploding, the scene in which Major confronts a tank or thermoptic clothing … all these elements are therefore present in Ghost in the Shell , the director specifying: ” I thought that if I went to see the film and I do not see these items, I would be very disappointed. ” . This does not mean that the feature film takes up word-for-word and scene-by-scene original works. Moreover, Mamoru Oshii, The director of the two animated films, supported the project, encouraging Rupert Sanders to make his own adaptation. And here is the advice he received from him: ” He just said to me: ‘Make your own film!’ He wanted me to impose no limits. That he should do something different. “He did not want me to reproduce what he had done .” So what exploring new aspects of Ghost in the Shell and Major, her heroine ! I think he understood that we had to do something different. He did not want me to reproduce what he had done . “So to explore new aspects of Ghost in the Shell and Major, her heroine ! I think he understood that we had to do something different. He did not want me to reproduce what he had done . “So to explore new aspects of Ghost in the Shell and Major, her heroine !
The post Ghost in the Shell: Rupert Sanders, “It was necessary to find the simplest way to enter this universe” first appeared on The Siver Times.

In this futuristic cyberpunk Japan, mores have changed profoundly and the unmodified human being must make a place in the middle of the machines and other augmented. To offer this world rich in neon lights, holograms as advertisements projected on huge towers and other vehicles, the Ghost in the Shell team shot much of the film in New Zealand in state-of-the-art production trays built By Peter Jackson himself , the director behind The Lord of the Rings.
Chef-Decorator Jan Roelfs also put the package together with artistic director Richard L. Johnson and his team of 250 people . As much as to say that nothing was left to chance in the conception of the world of Ghost in the Shell, of which Scarlett Johansson wakes up in the skin of the Major in an extrait unpublished . Of course, despite the presence of computer terrorism and other government plots, the film’s producer acknowledges that the film offers “a futuristic world where one would like to live and where one can fulfill one’s dreams .
The post Ghost in the Shell: A film with an unprecedented visual identity first appeared on The Siver Times.

Finally ! More than thirty years after the release of the animated film, the eternal story of Beauty and the Beast is back in cinema today in a live action adaptation with Emma Watson in the title role! And if you were already fans of the cartoon, no doubt you will love the film. As we told you in our critic of Beauty and the Beast , Bill Condon, the director, managed to preserve the soul and magic of the story while bringing some new features. Besides, it is not only the magic of Beauty and the Beast that has been preserved. If there is a trick that is found in all Disney, They are references to other feature films of the house with big ears and they have not forgotten them in Beauty and the Beast . Starting with Aladdin! You really have to look for it, but if you look carefully, when Belle talks to her father while working on his music box, one can see, among the trinkets that he built beside, an elephant adorned with A miniature palace. A reference to the song “Prince Ali” !
And another reference to Aladdin slipped into Beauty and the Beast , during the song “Be Our Guest” ! Yes, at one point, Big Ben enters the ballroom, leaving a palace that is none other than the Sultan’s, in the middle of Agrabah, in the cartoon Aladdin! Another subtle reference to Disney that you may not notice, too busy watching the fairy dance of Beauty and the Beast in the ballroom is the coat of arms “WD” on the floor in the middle that Are just the initials of Walt Disney! But Beauty and the Beast does not just refer to Disney. There are other films to which the adaptation pays tribute. Like the scene from the beginning where Belle runs to the top of a green hill with her blue dress. It was directly inspired by the musical The Sound of Music , which contains a really similar scene with Julie Andrews .
Finally, another musical comedy also has the right to its reference in The Beauty and the Beast : that of Chicago ! Yes, when Lumière makes his little dance number during the song “Be Our Guest” , there is a moment when he makes a special pose and where he is then “backlit” . Well, it came out straight from the song “Cell Block Tango” from Chicago ! After all, the live action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast can itself be considered a musical because of the number of songs and choreographies that compose it, so it is normal that she take her inspiration in comedies Musicals of the cinema. After, The Beauty and the Beast also has its own leg and stands out even from the original animated film. One has only to see all the differences between the two! So, have you spotted all the Easter Eggs?
The post The Beauty and the Beast: The Easter Eggs of the film unveiled! first appeared on The Siver Times.

And science-fiction says “push technology” that will allow characters to push the limits possible and known by humans. One of them concerns neither more nor less than the human brain and its link with the robotics since it is possible to pirate it in Ghost in the Shell through the Mind Hacking . A practice that will be at the center of the plot between Major (Scarlett Johansson) and The Marionette, mysterious cyber-terrorist. In Ghost in the Shell, who unveiled new animated posters of his characters ,
In Ghost in the Shell , the “Ghost” refers directly to the human soul and “Shell” to the empty shell that can accommodate the latter. Thus, it is possible through the Mind Hacking to hack a Ghost and implant him memories, new personalities, to make his puppet what. In other words, the threat of such an attack is rather serious in an ultra-connected cyberpunk world unfolding in … 2029. Not far from us what ! But despite all the technology-related themes developed in Ghost in the Shell, Scarlett Johansson presented the Major in an unprecedented featurette , spirituality and the place of soul and soul
In Ghost in the Shell , the entities are malleable and can therefore be modified via Mind Hacking . It is not for nothing that the cyber-terrorist of the film is called “The Puppeteer” … we let you guess why! Between government plots, terrorism, global conflicts and other manipulations of being, we are promised that Ghost in the Shell may be rather strong in sensations and reflections. Rendez-vous with the cinema on Wednesday 29 March .
The post Ghost in the Shell: Mind hacking in the heart of the plot, what is it? first appeared on The Siver Times.

The project would be (already) under discussion, according to the Hollywood Reporter, and the opinions are negative. Too early, not necessary, risky … And if we made a series rather than a film?
It is not too late to change your mind, choose the appropriate form and put as much emphasis as possible on the bottom. The material is there, it is enough simply to use it as well as possible. And frankly, making a series seems pretty bad! Finally, it could calm down all those who are rather annoyed at the moment, seeing this project reboot in film as a shit announced, especially without the Wachowski to the controller, without the historical producer Joel Silver, nor a single cast member original. Come on, here are some ideas. That Warner can use, before officially confirm any project.
The films do not concentrate enough on the matrix
You can not do everything or satisfy everyone. Nor even all the desires. However, given the potential to be exploited behind the existence of the matrix, it would be possible to place more emphasis on it. For we human beings like to reflect on the illusion of reality, the backdrop behind our world and our universe . Much more than just looking (and appreciating, nevertheless) bastons or other purely human inter-personal problems. The will to be surprised, disturbed, to dig …
The possibility of developing several intrigues in parallel
Do not let us sulk our pleasure, follow the steps of Neo remains stylish. The stroke of the Messiah who comes to save humans is nothing new but when it is done well, we can be carried away. But if there were only that, a series of seasons would probably be boring. And there’s no risk! We could also include a slew of other things : a sort of prequel about the revolution, how it was built, how the machines had taken power, the path of Morpheus, why it and not another …
The indispensable villain is indeed present
It is a secret boot not so secret: it requires antagonism to create public interest. That he tries to understand why, that he feels things (empathy, compassion, disgust, fright …), that he identifies the values of the characters … And in Matrix, Agent Smith is an ideal opponent . Coriace, obsessed, wicked, heartless, he does not let go Neo and the others. Above all, he does not remain in his office to build plans; He goes to the field and wants to solve the problems. In person. Wet the shirt.
A smaller budget for more real actions
The first film had brought back the technique of the bullet time and delivered some magnificent fights. Then the second and third opus saw their budget doubled, which was not a good thing. Because the producers were made plaiz ‘and multiply the special effects based on computers and machines, we sweet to pass the scenes of fight to human dimension, stylish. An error (except the passage with the hundreds of Agent Smith, which is kept). A return to more human action scenes, worked, choreographed , would be welcome . More than slamming millions, it is a matter of spending them well. So hot for a series or not?
The post Thinking about it a bit, the possible reboot Matrix seems more sympatoch in series than film first appeared on The Siver Times.

Ghost in the Shell will be released very soon on our screens. So between his intrigue and his villain and the themes he addresses, here are 3 things you need to know about the movie!
Go, more than two weeks before the release of Ghost in the Shell ! Since the time we talk about it, it is true that it will make us wait. If it first of all made him speak because of the polemic surrounding the choice of Scarlett Johansson to play the main character, the film has since been able to detach itself from all this. Today, if we talk about him, it is to evoke his extraordinary cyberpunk and futuristic atmosphere – but not too much – his cyborgs that put vaguely uncomfortable and his fascinating heroine, to which Scarlett Johansson, d ‘After what has been seen, succeeded in giving a true depth. It must be said that Motoko Kusanagi, alias the Major, is a complex character , As the actress was able to tell us in the featurette of Ghost in the Shell where she presents her role and reminds us of her very human dimension. In any case, the different trailers of the film put us water in the mouth and we are impatient to see what the end result may well give. And since we do not want you to embark on the adventure without having a minimum of cards in hand, melty unveils the three critical points that you must absolutely know about Ghost in the Shell before going to see it in the movies!
An intrigue in a futuristic world
A fascinating heroine is fantastic and you can not dream better. But it also needs a solid intrigue that goes with it! And luckily, Ghost in the Shell should not disappoint us at that level. On the surface, the film plunges us into a futuristic world, not so far from ours, where androids, cyborgs and artificial intelligences are common currencies. It follows the adventures – or rather the grim investigations – of Section 9, an anti-terrorist unit headed by the ruthless Daisuke Aramaki (Takeshi Kitano) and of which the Major is a part. And the Section this time has the task of arresting a certain Kuze, who decided to sow the bazaar in androids . That’s it, it’s for the central pitch. But Ghost in the Shell also tells the story of Motoko Kusanagi, who finds himself in a cybernetic body that is not his own and with memories that may not even belong to him. Then by chasing Kuze and trying to end her activities, it is also herself that Motoko tries to find . Knowing who we are, this is a question we all ask, right?
An ambiguous villain
Speaking of the wicked, precisely, who is he really? The main enemy of Section 9 is not here the Puppeteer or the Ginger, as one might have thought. No, it’s Kuze , which is played by Michael Pitt, which fans of Broadwalk Empire will easily recognize since he lent his traits to Jimmy Darmody in the first two seasons of the series. And he is not a cyber criminal like the others, far from it! In fact, as you may have seen in the latest Ghost in the Shell trailer , Kuze is also a cyborg who likes hacking in android programs to turn them against humans and sow chaos. But most of all, this villain seems to know a lot about the Major and his past. Does not he tell her that she is being used and that, far from having been saved by her transformation, she has actually become a prisoner of those who created her? So much to say that, for Motoko, the fight against Kuze is going to be very, very personal …
Very philosophical themes
As you can see, Ghost in the Shell talks about fairly philosophical themes, such as memory and identity. Through the character of Motoko, these are questions like ” What does it mean to be human? ” Or ” What makes me am me? ” That poses the film. But that’s not all ! For it also obviously covers a whole section concerning the evolution of technology. Already because it stages not only the androids but also cyborgs – beings therefore half humans half robots – who no longer distinguish the boundary between what is human in them and what is not more. And then there is of course a reflection on hacking , Which allows certain cyber-criminals to steal identity, even conscience, from people like Motoko. What show us that technology, if not controlled, can be manipulated and used against humanity at very intimate levels. And such a questioning, in an era like ours where hacking became commonplace, is finally very relevant! Will you see the movie?
The post Ghost in the Shell: Plot, Evil … 3 things to know about the movie first appeared on The Siver Times.

Repeating a story and continuing it at any cost, in one way or another, rarely remains a good idea. These series have confirmed this.
They almost missed all our good memories. We began to get excited, to see our nostalgia replaced by a kind of visceral disgust, and it was going to eat us from the inside. We do not say thank you to those responsible for these failed reboots. But thanks to those who promptly canceled and arrested them.
Heroes Reborn
At the beginning of the original, in 2006, the subject and the universe were unique, different. Which is a challenge today. Find an idea that does not seem to be a nth already seen a little remixed and adapted. It was even before Christopher Nolan impressed us with his Batman. Here, no cape, superhero, comic book names . For a most convincing result. So why try a reboot to 2 € in 2015? Too many characters, badly constructed more, and a villain who stinks the shit. No, no way. Phew was quickly cut short.
Beverly Hills Cop
The creators surely said, “It’s in the old pots that we make the best jams, do not we?” And hop, boom, idea of genius: to spit a police series (it is the fashion) based on the adventures of Axel Foley. This uncontrollable, crazy cop and yet effective, embodied Eddy Murphy in movies 90s . Except that there, the plan was to do something with Shawn Ryan, creator of “The Shield”, “The Chicago Code” and “Last Resort”. That is, serious and dramatic stuff. A hair opposite the original spirit, mid-comedy-mi action. We escaped, thank you.
$ 200 plus expenses
In the 1970s, this former detainee who was the victim of a miscarriage of justice who became a private detective was successful. Then the NBC, in search of program, said: why not? Produced by Steve Carrell, the series would have installed Dermot Mulroney as protagonist. Above all, the series ( “The Rockford Files” in VO) was intended household 50, bah yeah, meanwhile, since their twenties, they have aged , like everyone else. Fortunately, the pilot was so faulty that the guys ended the delirium right away. Without being a businessman, because some would like to make a film, with Vince Vaughn.
The Osbournes
After four seasons to follow the lively life of the rocker’s family, we had more or less made the tour. Well, we’re not going to lie. The episodes had already been going on for so long. Shit, I said aloud. In short, in 2015, to celebrate the tenth anniversary, the creators were sure we wanted to start again, we expected a reboot . No. Ozzy has not done anything since, his children logically barred from the family home, Sharon and Kelly are working on another series … And then no, we just did not feel like it. No need for explanations.
Funny ladies
The 1970s (Charlie’s Angels) was a boxboard, and the films that were drawn afterwards respected the spirit. Some pretty girls, but not that. Of humor, an alchemy between them, a charismatic boss, nested stories … In 2011, ABC has managed to collect three actually beautiful women. But otherwise, move along, there’s nothing to see . Besides, the viewers have circulated on their own, without further ado, rather quickly. So much so that the series was stopped after only four episodes.
The Flintstones
The creator of “American Dad”, “Les Griffin” (“Family Guy” in VO) was hot. Boiling. Seth MacFarlane had always loved the Flintstones, so bringing his paw in a reboot was a big challenge. And a pleasure. Unless one knows his penchant for humor and the construction of a family in the grip of a father a tad heavy . Then the director of the Fox told him the bottom of his thoughts about his plans for Caillouville: “it’s going, but I’m not a fan”. Basically. End of the story. Finally, it’s not bad plans that fall to the water sometimes?
The post Fortunately, these reboots of series quickly went to the scrappage first appeared on The Siver Times.

It is the beauty of cinema. As long as your scenes have a meaning and influence on the story, it’s open bar. So you can see love stories on a fantastic background.
Or rather, we must know how to surpass them, circumvent them, transcend them. It is risky indeed, but the game is worth the candle. When it works, it gives us a nice movie to watch . Without being pleasing to everyone (it is impossible mission, but without James Bond), these films remain examples.
Wandering souls
Film, cinema, fantasy, love, story, woman, man, relationship, complicated, joy, sorrow, tear, loves, Twilight
——- 1 ——-
Sublimes créatures
Another adapted work of a book, finally of several I should say, the saga Beautiful Creatures of Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia. In summary, Ethan is a young high school student who gets her shit in the middle of nowhere in the southern States, until Lena arrives . The trick is that the mysterious phenomena multiply as soon as it arrives then it is rather badly seen. Except by Ethan, coquinou, who wants to know more. He will discover his secret, which will necessarily impact their love story. Suspense.
——- 2 ——-
Twilight
Come on, I’ll let you guess: from a book or not? Surprise … yes! And since there was matter, bah there was film. Finally, of the film, what. Five, to be precise. To avoid summarize badly, early enough: Bella moves in with her father in Forks and falls madly in love with Edward, a guy his age . But brothel of God’s name: he’s a vampire. Like all his family. So what ? Bella likes it, will be accepted by (almost) all. Then there will be ups and downs, obstacles … And ahead Guingamp, you have five movies to watch.
——- 3 ——-
Cinderella
A classic since the Disney animated movie dating back to 1951. And like any good self-respecting classic, it never dies. Thus, in 2015, a new version was proposed to the public, with Helena Bonham-Carter and Cate Banchett. Still. And the story of this poor Cinderella, as nice as nice, that life does not spare, as we always moves . With the Prince who would do anything for her, unlike her vicious mother-in-law and her two-half-sister bastards.
——- 4 ——-
Adaline
Already, note the original first name. Yes, this is the name of the lady. Then it is fortunate not to age: born in 1908, it still in great shape and always looks as young and beautiful a hundred years later . Except that she is not convinced that this is a chance, she dares to enjoy and build a love story. The struggle of reason against feelings.
——- 5 ——-
The beauty and the Beast
To change, it is an adaptation of Gabrielle-Suzanne de Villeneuve’s tale, dating back to 1740. We are talking about the film released in 2014, with Léa Seydoux and Vincent Cassel. If you have the lazy to download it (legally, of course), you can expect the next adaptation planned this year. Basically: a family in galley part in the campaign, took refuge in a castle to avoid a snowstorm, and daron is confused by the domain owner, a beast . Condemned to death, outright. But one of his daughters, Belle, turns the head of my Beast and sacrifices himself. Slowly but surely, they get to know each other. And Belle will want to save the Beast, in fact a cursed Prince for his past not jojo. Which do you prefer?
The post Having feelings is fantastic, so there are fantastic films full of feelings, logical first appeared on The Siver Times.

First information: yes, they were really in pants. Seriously, there are other nice things to know about this slap we took at the time.
The film was released in France on March 21, 2007, and yeah! We had made an appointment in ten years, but better to be ahead than to be late. In short, to celebrate this, here are some anecdotes about the film of Zack Snyder, adapted from comic Frank Miller. Your next evening, you can do a little “Did you know?” Special 300, to tell you a little . If we do not lather ourselves, who is going to do it eh?
Normally, all Spartans wore a feathered helmet …
… And not only their leader, in this case King Leonidas, interpreted by Gerard Butler. Why should we depart from facts and history? Simply to make the protagonist easier to identify , especially during (many) combat scenes. So the director Zack Snyder found this technique as simple as it was effective. Come on, it’s a good reason.
The actors followed a sacred program to be also stock
Even if you’re part of the so-called sportsmen, typing your abs and, or, pumps every morning, going to run regularly, going on a bike ride on weekends, dropping, you’re away. The actors had to train four hours a day for seven months (6h even for Butler), under the direction of a physical trainer, without any day’s rest. And food level, misery … Michael Fassbender reported that he ate only almonds and fresh cheese curd.
Respect for land and animals
Okay, ok, I’m expanding the line but frankly, we can emphasize the efforts made . Instead of producing more kilos of plastic to create the weapons, the producers have recovered a good part of the films “Alexander” and “Troy”. As for the animals, no horse was injured or maltreated during the film.
From taf level costume, mine of nothing
One could have believed the opposite, to see the guys walking in panties and three times nothing on the body. Wrong! Leonidas owned 17 helmets , Xerxes 33 facial decorations, and overall, there was a team of more than 60 people who worked full time to create more than 600 costumes, necessary from the beginning to the end of the film.
An efficient shoot
In two months it was torched. But not like you and me when we do the dishes, eh. Not the quick done wrong. Did you see the end result? Clean . And all that in 60 days. This allowed to limit the costs and only clicked $ 69M. Another rare fact, the shooting was chronological, in the order of scenes and history.
The Spartan women really let go of this sentence …
“Come back with their shield .” Either, “Come back with their shield, or on yours” , in VF (I know you understand, I just have to do it, take it personally). This is the sentence pronounced by the Queen when Leonidas goes to confront the Persians , and it corresponds exactly to that of the Spartan women when they saw their husband and son going to fight. Basically, slash them and bring back their shield, or come back on yours. For the man killed with dignity in battle was brought back on his shield by his comrades.
Spartans are the real first hipsters
If you look good, only Astinos does not wear the beard. All the others are not shaved up close like him, completely beardless limit. And that’s normal, because shaving in the Spartans was a dishonor . Only an extreme case justified him: to be in mourning.
If your parents call you Ephialtes, it is because they do not love you too much
Just by referring to the film already, you are not super happy. To be compared to a hunchback with hardly engaging face, a scraping off, no thank you. And when you dig a little, you learn that it means “nightmare” . And in Greece, Ephialtes rhymes with traitor. Truthful. So, you want to see him again?
The post Shooting and historical truth: small anecdotes about the movie “300” first appeared on The Siver Times.

While waiting for the new version planned for 2018, melty offers you to plunge back into the original cartoon and discover 5 things you did not know about!
As we get ready to rediscover the adventures of Beauty and the Beast in the movies with Emma Watson in the title role, another Disney Princess will appear on the big screen next year: Mulan, the Chinese warrior capable To break an army of Huns to herself! As much as to say that at the editorial of melty, we are rather excited by this news, because Mulan is undoubtedly part of our favorite Disney princesses . One, because it is the most badass, and two, because if she falls obviously in love with Shang, she remains an independent woman, who does not need men or marriage to succeed, as It proves it to the whole of China at the end of the cartoon. In addition, it will be directed by a woman, Niki Caro , History of being feminist to the end. One more reason to wait impatiently for this adaptation live action! That said, it is still much more than a year before singing at the top of the lungs “Like a man” in cinemas. So in the meantime, we thought it would be nice to make you discover 5 things you did not know about the original cartoon!
1) Mulan’s story is inspired by a folk song . Yes, you heard right. The cartoon is based on a popular song from the Northern Wei Dynasty, entitled “Mulan’s Stroll,” which sings the praises of a woman who disguises a man and poses as a soldier for nearly twelve years. At the end of the war, she simply returned home, refusing any reward.
2) Originally, the general was not Shang’s father . But they finally decided to change that affiliation to give Mulan more emotional weight . Like the heroine, Shang seeks above all to make the pride of his father and this is what gives him a touching touch.
3) The directors invited themselves into the cartoon . In the tower of the fireworks , at the end of Mulan , one can see two characters who have everything but the features of Chinese. It is actually the caricature of the film’s directors, Tony Bancroft and Barry Cook .
4) Mulan and Aladdin have something in common . Finally, Mulan and Jasmine more exactly. Yes, if you re-listen to the songs of the film, you will notice a rather similar tone of voice between the Arabic princess and the Chinese heroine. It’s normal, it’s the same singer who makes their voices: Lea Salonga! And that’s not all, since it is also the same actress who doubles their voices in French, Valerie Karsentin ( LOL, Babysitting 2 )!
5) It is the cartoon Disney that has the most deaths. Yes, if Disney clearly traumatized us with the death of Mufasa in The Lion King , or that of the mother of Bambi for the most sensitive, and other dead again, the carnage is not really the trademark of The house with big ears. Except for Mulan , who is a real hecatomb because of the Huns. We do not know the exact number of deaths, but we can bet on a good hundred.
Finally, little bonus, did you know that a locust is normally endowed with 6 legs whereas in Mulan, it has only 4? And that’s precisely why Mulan’s grandmother says he’s lucky! So, did you imagine that?
The post Mulan: 5 Things You Did not Know About Disney Cartoon first appeared on The Siver Times.

Jamie Dornan revealed his biggest fear ! The actor, who has confessed repeatedly that interpreting Christian Gray was a real compositional role, is afraid that he will be offered only similar roles in the future. One thing is for sure, if some critics reproached him with a too monotonous and rigid game in Fifty Shades of Gray , his nuanced and credible interpretation in Fifty Shades Darker made everyone agree. The success of the first two parts of the erotic trilogy owes much to Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, who brought life to Christian Gray and Anastasia Steele. Coveted roles that have earned both actors an instant international celebrity! If Jamie Dornan already had many fans thanks to the series The Fall , Fifty Shades has nevertheless damned changed the deal. But how does he experience this situation?
Jamie Dornan confided in an interview for Heat Magasine : “It’s easy to live a quiet life without being noticed, I never wanted to be famous, I never tried to speak I do know that for some people it’s impossible to escape from the media, and I do not want to be seen by you. But for the vast majority, if not all of the known people, they want to be mediatized. My life is normal, apart from the days when I make the red carpets and where I pose for photographers Besides that, I lead a very normal life ” . We love the attitude of the actor, who knew how to remain simple! Jamie Dornan, who has confessed to be a fan of the Queen of Snow , has always shown humor and humility in her success. We know a lot who should be inspired by his example … What do you think of Jamie Dornan?
The post Jamie Dornan: “I never wanted to be famous,” his statements shock! first appeared on The Siver Times.

King Kong
Not complicated to guess the name of the protagonist, nor his appearance. King Kong, a monkey bump with Lorna Jenkins, a scientist, and his son, to bring down this devil Ramon Porta . Not really a copy of the monkey of the 1933 film, King Kong, we know all the same that the story comes from there.
Ace Ventura
Like the film, even delirious. The only difference is the voice of the detective played by Jim Carrey , because here it’s not his but that of Michael Daingerfield. Otherwise grimaces, jokes, twisted blows, everything is there.
SOS Ghosts
You see the same investigators walking around New York, solving stories, dealing with paranormal affairs. The scénar ‘, the voice, it was a good job and that regaled us for six years . Before being replaced by another series “Ghosbusters” but less well.
Men in Black
The respected science fiction atmosphere, amplified gags and adapted for a younger audience in cartoon fashion, a pleasure for four years (and seasons) from 1997 to 2001. In addition, icing on the cake, the animated series had an influence on the second film . When J faces Jarra in the building that serves as the seat, it is something that we find in the second episode of the cartoon.
Godzilla
Decidedly, it was a habit in the 90s. And for the blow, it was a rich idea since the series was more fun than the film. Rather disappointing, the movie was not very funny and did not address enough of the animals . There, there was a mass of clashes between lizards and reptiles, insects and other monsters.
Beetlejuice
After his 1988 film, Tim Burton had not yet finished with his Gothic universe, centered around the famous Beetlejuice. So he created a series starting in 1999, four seasons , which respected no surprise the film’s atmosphere while agreeing to children. Even the intro music was reworked for good gluing.
Other adaptations cited
Star Wars: Clone Wars, The Mask, Buzz Lightyear (sort of spin-off from Toy Story) You remember where, that you looked small?
The post These cartoons adapted movies that you may have forgotten first appeared on The Siver Times.

While she would do everything for him, that she does not see herself living without him, this heartbreaker chains the dirty blows. Finally in the comics anyway.
In the film adaptation of the movie “Suicide Squad”, the main violence of the Joker towards Harley Quinn corresponds to the moment when it attaches it and the torture with its very special therapy. It’s fairly brief, and then we move on. In comics, such scenes are repeated very often. Here is a small selection .
He tied her in an underground prison where all the previous Harley
Surely after an argument, or else just a cable buggery Joker, Harley descends, the attachment to the wall with large chains and pulls a small torch so she can see what surrounds … Several women dressed as she died . Content, the Joker balance him: “I can tell you something you do not even will be the last. .” The worst part is that it is potentially a joke (bad taste), that the Joker would have just recovered from the corpses and made the staging. But it remains glaucous, twisted and wicked nevertheless.
He locked her up in a space rocket
Typical of the guy who is afraid of commitment. The Joker tells him that “this is the first time in years he has these feelings” and that he “always cherish the days spent together but sadly, inevitably, the time has come to separate us” . It’s already hard to hear. It is even more when it is by microphones interposés because the guy has trapped you, put in a rocket that will take off towards the milky way.
He offers her a bouquet of roses filled with dynamite sticks
Generally, when the Joker is all honeyed, nice, attentive, it is that there is a wolf. And we do not just mean a service that will ask, no, no: an attempted murder . So yes, the guy is crazy. But Harley Quinn also, to trust him blindly and get screwed every time. To believe and hope for a different outcome.
He urged him to put himself in a tank of chemicals
Not satisfied with having already manipulated and changed mentally, the Joker then wishes to make it evolve physically. In fashion guru who wants only your own good, of course . And the former psychiatrist, Harleen Quinzel, agrees to fuck in the tank and undergo one more treatment.
He threw it into the street as they celebrated their seventh birthday
Like anyone normally constituted, Harley is preparing to spend a beautiful evening. She prepares a song for her lover, asked him to book his evening awaits in little nightie … But who knows why, the Joker sees red and gives off. Hop, he throws it down, where particularly hungry hyenas await him. Gentleman, undoubtedly.
He let her disgorge alone during pregnancy
And where he is strong is that he has had nothing to say or do. Harley Quinn decided to herself, knowing that the Joker would absolutely not interested in that, he would see evil and that it would spoil their relationship . Thus, Harley is confided to the Black Canary in the comedy “Injustice: Gods among us us, year two” which she managed all alone so as not to disrupt Monsieur. And that he did as if nothing had happened when she came back a year later. We agree, it’s impossible to do worse?
The post Look no, it’s Harley Quinn who has the worst guy in the world, this Joker tart first appeared on The Siver Times.

Game Of Thrones
Readers of George RR Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” saga can not help it. Of what? To emphasize the fact that the series that is cartooning now, and for a while now, is moving away more and more from the original story. The characters killed prematurely or completely invented, no Lady Stoneheart (I say no more on this character in case) or the plot of Dorne after the death of Oberyn … Knowing that the series has now sold books and Continues its own way, there’s way that it leaves very far. The spectators will still be like eggs, that’s for sure, it will not change.
The Man in the High Castle
In science fiction, if you like to read, Philip K. Dick remains one of the bosses. All his books make you slap, and inspiration can only give that a surprising and original audiovisual work. After that, you have to do it, which is a great challenge. Difficulty recognized by the showrunner , too. Differences from the book? The series focuses on the story for the New York symbolic and crazy images, adds hateful Nazis at will (or Kido Inspector John Smith), invents a sister Juliana to give more importance to what she had begin.
You obviously remember the complicated relationship between Toby and Spencer? This subject kept you in suspense, you talked so many times. And bah in the book, you do not find that. Toby never hits Spencer. On the other hand, he lived a brief history with Emily, struck his sister being young and would die of overdose from the first volume of the novel. Another diff ‘, Alyson was targeted by a conspiracy, which is not found at all on the screen.
Outlander
When you base yourself on a novel, you are constrained and forced to shorten, concentrate events, condense intrigue. Unless you swing a saga of ten 8-hour films. At the risk of scaring 99.9% of the spectators or playing with the health of those who will try the blow. Thus, the relationship between Jamie and Claire is not as developed as in the first book of Diana Gabaldon . And season 2 does not start at the same time as the second book, in order to make the story more powerful, more comprehensible, under the advice of the novelist for the blow. Like what, it is not only bad will on the part of filmmakers.
The basis remains the same: one is 100 years after a large-scale nuclear accident. Apart from that, the differences are multiple and those knowing the book and the series tends rather for the second once is not customary. A little less focused on young adult disorders or romantic relationships, the series rather give more importance to deeper themes as our ability to survive in such a scenario and deliver a moral history of our species.
It was the reference among the teenage series, and in a justified way. Pleasant to watch, fun, the series perfectly meets the expectations of its audience. Maybe even too much, in the sense that the creators have made any softer, more superficial than in the book . Everyone is beautiful, cared for, dark elements or tension creators (like the bad character of Serena) are ignored: Cecily von Ziegesar had to see something other than her book at times.
Good and not so good. Or else regret and understanding. For example, season 1 could have been quite different. While Dexter ends up killing “The Ice Truck Killer”, in the book the latter gets out and continues to fuck the brothel at regular intervals in history. Maybe hot to manage level script ‘. On the other hand, the fact that Dexter asks himself if he is not himself this serial killer – supposing that he becomes another during his absence and has no recollection of it – was really stylish and we would have liked to see . Good initiative of the series, let’s recognize it: to give a much more important role to Angel Batista. Do you have other examples of a little (too) different series of books?
The post Like the movies, series annoy a little the fans of the books of which they are inspired first appeared on The Siver Times.

The adaptations of Marvel are linked and the vein is not ready to stop. Especially for the actresses, given the number of female characters that remains to exploit X-Men.
For those who love comics in general or Marvel in particular and their cinematographic adaptations, it’s cool. For the others, bah they have to go see something else, each one his delirium. And for those who are fans of super-heroines and super-villains, it’s perfect! Here are some women that are expected to shine on the big screen.
The Stepford Cuckoos
A kind of 3-in-1. Moreover, they themselves say so. The three blonde teens (they were five at the base but two left rather quickly) have telepathic power, as Emma Frost of which they are an embryonic copy. The result of a scientific experiment based on the White Queen, they can also turn into diamond or take the brain’s control of others, as Professor X . Small feature: they think and function together, in symbiosis.
Pajama evening a little special.
Dani Moonstar
This is a quota that is not sufficiently present in the debates nor respected on the screen: the Amerindians. Danielle Moonstar proudly represents the Cheyenne nation, although she is a mutant. Besides his natural fighting skills (including archery, no it’s not cliché), given his education, it can project images and see how and when a person dies (such as Valkyrie, power nabbed via reconciliation With Brightwind). Ideal for movies: her habit of losing her powers, recovering them, being manipulated, as well as her nicknames of Mirage or Psyche … In addition she is good paw, in the comics she ends up becoming teacher mutant children.
Dust
The first female and Muslim superhero, existing for two decades. Kidnapped child, sold into slavery, rescued by Wolverine and Fantomex, Sooraya Qadir real name then joined the school of Xavier . Practicing and introverted, Dust never leaves his burka except when it turns into sand. There it sends. Explosion, storm, infiltration: it can kill steel, humans, everything.
Marrow
Big spectacular potential. His bones are growing at great speed v, it can break (since it gives kinds of dégueus growths) and use as a weapon and then regrow others. Easy baby. Unstable because of his complicated history marked by manipulation and betrayal, Marrow often plots against human beings and is part of the X-Force team.
Armor
The perfect symbol for the expression: It’s in the head. Alone with her mental strength, Armor can build around her … armor (yeah, you could have guessed it anyway). Almost the size she wants, except that it’s logically hotter to hold her when she measures 150m tall like a bastard skyscraper. Its touch of originality: it derives its power from its ancestors by blood . And not by a mutation or other diverted technique. In addition, she was coached by Wolverine, who is her mentor. If this is not a character with a potential phew.
Magik
It needed one. The femme fatale, super sexy, with the suit that goes well. For a young lady named Illyana Rasputin, nothing very surprising. We remain in the cliché of the beautiful Russian, and the casting will surely be very interesting. Well, to return to the main thing, Colossus’s little sister was kidnapped at six years by Belasco, a demonic entity, lived in a black and evil dimension for years called Limbo, where she learned witchcraft. After escaping, she remained connected and returned as soon as she wants to disband her opponents because she is as omnipotent. How? With the teleporting disks she creates to swing her opponents wherever she wants, and a sword as large as powerful made with a part of her heart. Moreover, in the species of evil zone, it often turns into its evil double, Darkchylde. Styled for twists, false leads and other storylines. Which do you hope to see as soon as possible?
The post The films of X-Men still have a sacred reservoir of female characters first appeared on The Siver Times.
