Not to mention the Netflix series that land every month and come to shake everything up. This month of May was another emotional month, between tension episodes, the tragic deaths, the couples who make and break and of course the fact of having to say goodbye to certain shows the time of the Summer – or even forever . As at the end of each month, the editor of melty offers you to discover the 10 series that have marked the last 31 days . And since we can not see everything and we all have different opinions, we invite you to share your Top Series of May in the comments.
9 – Scandal
It was known before the release of the double episode of season finale, the season 7 of Scandal will be the last , making the end of season 6 even more important since it sets up as pawns for the latest chapter Series. If we found the first part of the final season a little slow and a bit too quiet, everything was played in episode 16 and all the cards are now redistributed in order to offer us a totally different last season. Olivia Pope has embraced a little more her side “dark” , no longer hesitating to eliminate people who get in the way of his goal. Despite some mistakes, we were pleasantly surprised by this end of season.
8 – The Flash
The Flash concluded its third season last week with a rather touching yet predictable episode. After a season that had some problems with the plot, The Flash is doing pretty well with this final season which already puts in place the bases of season 4. If, not surprisingly, Iris is not dead As had been predicted, his character played an important role in this end and it is no worse. Despite some predictable intrigues and springs, The Flash fulfills his contract and offers us a end of the season full of action, twists and turns and where we even had to take out the handkerchiefs!
7 – Jane The Virgin
The CW series is one of those underestimated series – to go hand in hand with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend – especially because of the channel on which it is broadcast. And yet, it’s still a beautiful season that Jane The Virgin offers us with an end to the top. The series always mixes humor and emotion, and it was once again a real emotional roller coaster that follows the adventures of Jane and all the other characters in the series. Despite its very low audiences, the series was renewed by the CW for a season 4 and we are already looking forward to discovering all this because Jane is missing us already!
6 – Supergirl
The second seasons are often a bad time to play for the playoffs, but we can say that Supergirl is doing pretty well, especially with its final season as exciting as it is moving. Admittedly, the season has seen ups and downs, especially in the middle of the season, but it has caught up well on the end, putting her heroine back at the center of the action. With the final season, the different female characters were highlighted and the return of Cat Grant was only the icing on the cake . What a pity that his character does not come back for season 3 … The series has been bold on the end and we really hope that season 3 will be to this image.
5 – Gray’s Anatomy
We all agree more or less to say, this thirteenth season of Gray’s Anatomy is far from perfect and some intrigues have really left something to be desired. However, we can not deny that the last two episodes of season 13 have largely raised the level giving us really want to discover the season 14 . Not only was the final season disaster, which was enormously teased by the production, offered us cold sweats – or hot rather – with this fire, but it allowed to give a very beautiful end to Stephanie Edwards. Indeed, Jerrika Hinton leaves the series and it is a true heroine that his character bids us farewell.
4 – Agents of SHIELD
Agents of SHIELD closed its fourth season as brilliantly as it did, with Ghost Rider returning to close the loop. The characters have yet to face new challenges – some of which will change them forever – but whatever happens is that they can always count on each other and that’s what they Helped defeat AIDA. If one adds to the well-structured intrigues, the dialogues that make flies and the development of characters always well conducted, the political subtext of Agents of Hydra, one really faces one of the best seasons of 2016-2017 .
3 – Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt / Master of None
We plead guilty! We were not able to decide between the two Netflix comedies, both of which were released this month on the SVOD platform. Both are hilarious, but they are very different but we love them as much. It is always a pleasure to recapture the sarcastic and ultra-referenced humor of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and his colorful characters. Season 3 plays the card of feminism, while still offering wacky and offbeat plots. As for Master of None , we must say that magic always operates with this second season which is just as good and funny as the first. These two comedies are very original, each in their own way, and if you have not yet watched them, go for it!
2 – The Handmaid’s Tale
Last month we discovered Hulu’s brilliant but glittering The Handmaid’s Tale and since then we have to admit that our fascination with this series has not diminished. We know that it will make us suffer, yet every week we are eager to discover the new episode before which we will be hypnotized. His subject is always as strong and multiplying the points of view and the flashbacks on the different characters allow to enlarge the history and to understand a little better all the protagonists. The Handmaid’s Tale is undoubtedly one of the best new releases of 2017 and we are looking forward to seeing how the season will end.
1 – Sense8
After many months of waiting, Sense8 offered us a second season at the height that gives us already looking forward to seeing the continuation . Closer than ever, the sensates continue their struggle against the terrifying Whispers and the BPO organization by discovering more and more information about their past and their powers. The universe of the series has expanded to our delight and there are still many touching and intense scenes that we have been able to discover . We regret a bit the rapidity with which the plot resolves in the final season but what we regret above all is to have to wait for months before we can find Nomi, Capheus, Lito and the others. We cross the fingers and toes so that the series is renewed and, in the meantime, know that you can find our verdict on season 2 of Sense8 , on melty! What is your Top Series of May 2017?
The post Gray’s Anatomy, Master of None, The Flash: Our Top Series of May 2017! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Since the beginning of the season, “Faithful” plunges us both into the terrifying present of Offred but also in the past of June and more precisely during his meeting with Luke. The theme of love and desire will thus recur throughout the episode, just like that of sex. The return of Ofglen, now Ofsteven, is part of it since Offred finally learns what happened to him and finds himself even more terrified. The homosexuality of the young woman was, according to the Gilead authorities, Incarnated in its genital parts which were thus removed . And if it’s something to shock anyone with a brain, it would seem that Commander Fred Waterford is not one of them. Offred’s interview with her commander, which she is going to see for the purpose of reprimanding her, makes her discover as much as we do a new facet not really sympathetic to the master of the house and serves as a hard reminder to reality : We must not trust anyone.
This observation is also verified when Offred finally gets a response from Nick who confirms that he is an Eye. Despite the threat he represents and the guilt towards Luke, Offred seems no more frightened than that. After a new forced relationship with him orchestrated by Serena Joy, it is of her own volition that she returns to see him at nightfall to offer us the first scene of consenting sex since the beginning of the series. Indeed the mistress of house puts the fertility of her husband in question and is ready to break the rules, like everyone else, when it suits her . The ceremony is thus doubled for Offred whose instrumentalization continues under cover of respect for Fred Waterford and of necessity for Serena Joy.
But in spite of a welcome return, it is very probable that we no longer see the old offred promenade. The act of courage mingled with Ofglen’s unconsciousness falls just after she has taught Offred her real name and that of the resistance network: Mayday. One can only imagine his frustration not knowing where or how to find its members . We suspect, however, that Offred will find a way and hope that she will not be caught. Episode 5 showed us a revolted and exhausted Offred of not being able to make her choices, and who therefore decided to make decisions, however risky they may be. Between her discovery of Mayday, Ofglen’s flashback, her confrontation with Fred and her relationship with Nick, the future seems uncertain for the young woman and one has only haste: See the next episode. Until then, know that The Handmaid’s Tale has already been renewed for a season 2 . And you, what did you think of episode 5?
The post The Handmaid’s Tale: Episode 5, Mayday, our review first appeared on The Siver Times.

We invite you to discover our ranking of series that have marked us in the month of September 2016. So who will be number 1?
November is coming to an end and that means that we will gradually arrive in the winter hiatus – serial or empty – either this time of year when the opportunity to catch up on the current series or begin news. But meanwhile, this month has been rich sets of all kinds and it time to take stock of the series that marked November. This month has been particularly marked by the return of several series such as Teen Wolf, The Affair or Gilmore Girls, which were added to others already in hand. Once again, it was not easy to separate the different shows and we kept those he had absolutely not miss. Then discover without further delay our Top Series of November 2016:
10 – Teen Wolf
November was marked in particular by the start of the sixth and final season of Teen Wolf , MTV series fantasy, and the least we can say is that the first episodes did not disappoint the fans . If the hearings, they are not at the rendezvous, action, suspense and emotion are in the first three episodes. Ghost Riders, also creepy qu’intrigants have left the group without one of them. Certainly the disappearance of Stiles fact that the character is sorely lacking in the series, but it allows the season to play the nostalgia card and propose an original plot. Anyway, it’s always a pleasure to delve into the supernatural world of Beacon Hill and currently we are not disappointed with what we offer screenwriters .
9 – Designated Survivor
The plot is growing in Designated Survivor and that is not displeasing to us. The series continues ABC us walk the first steps of Tom Kirkman as President of the United States, and the least we can say is that it’s not easy. Every time we seem to be a little closer to the truth, that’s a new detail is added and it is almost back to square one. Designated Survivor is not without reminding us somewhat Season 1 of Homeland , which was particularly exciting to follow. Despite two episodes a little less demanding than the previous, the series continues to offer us well-crafted plot and nothing is done to show that the President of job is easy – on the contrary . So we approach the final mid-season, we expect great revelations or even a big cliffhanger and we can not wait!
8 – The Flash
After a rather quiet beginning, the intrigues of Season 3 of The Flash are finally taking the thickness while Barry actions are gradually beginning to be questioned. No more perfect and flawless heroes, it feels good having that Barry is not so smooth it and his friends also become aware. If Caitlin had a somewhat passive role last season, and we are pleased to see that this is not the case this season, thanks to the plot of Killer Frost. The powers it has developed add real depth to her character and that’s really the best points of this season. This third season of The Flash finally takes depth and if we add to this the pleasure of this crossover event held this week and so we have already seen half, it really is a good month for the series . Certainly, it is in the same place as last month in the top, but that’s only because new series have emerged.
7 – Supergirl
This second season of Supergirl is really a happiness to follow each week. There is no denying it, the level is really mounted between season 1 and season 2 and we appreciate the fact that the series takes the time to develop the characters and suggest intrigues “human” in addition to all superhero intrigue and aliens. Especially applauded what the writers are doing with the character of Alex Danvers, which is certainly one we prefer. The arrival of Mon-El was also beneficial for the series because it brings a lot of humor and emotions. Finally, there was concern that the absence of Cat will make too feel as she does not even see himself. If the series continues to offer us as exciting intrigues touching while having a link with what is happening in modern society, we will be entitled to a great second season.
6 – Grey’s Anatomy
This month, Grey’s Anatomy still down a bit in our top … If the series of Shonda Rhimes remains one of the things we expect most to watch each week, we must admit that this first part of the season is much less exciting than last year. Medical intrigues really take precedence over personal intrigues and unfortunately the imbalance really feels . In addition, many storylines are just repetitions of things we have seen in other seasons. Alex’s is certainly original, but it is far from the most attractive. Admittedly, sometimes a little bored and we really hope that the second season of game will be more eventful.
5 – This Is Us
In this season, This Is Us has replaced Grey’s Anatomy in our hearts for what is emotion . NBC family drama is still as exciting to follow and please us by the simplicity of his plots and engaging characters. Moreover, the fact that we still know all the secrets of this family adds a bit of spice because wants to know how the triplets and parents got there. The series addresses the small to small mysteries by providing a logical construction and mirroring between flashbacks and the present. Certainly the series goes down a bit in our rankings, but that’s just because he really has been heavy this month. Thanksgiving episodes we had our bunch and there is much to say our favorite this year is the This is Us . Then, given the fact that audiences, the series has a good chance of being renewed.
4 – The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead continues its seventh season with sometimes uneven but always entertaining and promising episodes. Now that the surrounding communities were presented, Rick and his group will be working to possible alliances to tackle Negan and Saviors and start a new phase in the series. If we wait to see the different planes of the characters for themselves from Negan, we must admit that the transformation of Rick proved bluffing and hope still see a little more the impact of the arrival of the big bad on the other characters in the sequel.
3 – Westworld
While the first season of Westworld coming to an end on HBO – since the season finale will air next Sunday in the United States – could not not put it in our Top 3 November. Yet more than ever, Westworld is the serial slap of school. Between mysteries, murders and turnaround of all kinds, the series continues to play with our certainties and beliefs , so much so that at the final episode, it is not yet clear that what it is . The season finale we hope will answer all the same to most of our questions, in particular regarding the identity of the Man in Black. One thing is certain, if you did not put in Westworld, it’s now or never, besides most series have or will begin their winter hiatus.
2 – How to Get Away with Murder
This early season 3 of How to Get Away with Murder is a real achievement. Between writing that is still relevant and the actors who constantly surprise us, we can only bow. Every time we think the show can no longer surprise, she managed a coup and put in the trash all the certainties that we could get. The final twist of the mid-season is also proof. Not that the victim of the fire we expect is it and we are still reeling from this revelation . Moreover, the scene where we discover everything was as beautiful as overwhelming. It is hoped that the second part of season 3 will continue on the same path and will continue to manage both the time between business, development of characters and plot “red line” .
1 – Gilmore Girls
The Revival of Gilmore Girls is sériephile event of November and how not to put on the first step of our podium! Despite its flaws, the new season of the series of Amy Sherman-Palladino has been a real joy to follow. We had four episodes of 90 minutes each, in which we were able to find Lorelai, Rory, Emily and all the residents of Stars Hollow. It goes without saying that the emotion was at the rendezvous when we could wander again the streets of this unique city. Amid violent series, suspense or with superheroes, it’s nice to be able to regain that its strength lies in particular its simplicity . Gilmore Girls is a series “security blanket” and we look to feel good. From that side, there is no doubt that the Revival held his bet. If some are still frustrated by the end rather abruptly, they can not deny that it did a lot of good to get girls Gilmore. What is your Top Series of November 2016?
The post Teen Wolf, Westworld, The Walking Dead: Our Top Series of the month of November 2016! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Certainly, it is in the same place as last month in the top, but that’s only because new series have emerged.
This second season of Supergirl is really a happiness to follow each week. There is no denying it, the level is really mounted between season 1 and season 2 and we appreciate the fact that the series takes the time to develop the characters and suggest intrigues “human” in addition to all superhero intrigue and aliens.

While the Revival of Gilmore Girls has just been unveiled on Netflix, discover our first impressions of a suite just magical!

A dream come true! And yes meltynautes, he took magic for the Revival of Gilmore Girls can finally be realized. After an end of season 7 was somewhat frustrated that the most inveterate fans, Amy Sherman-Palladino returned in force to instill one last time the spirit of Stars Hollow on a community of faithful determined to know the famous words last four promised by the creative genius. While the editorial ‘of melty offered you three good reasons to binge watcher Gilmore Girls , back on four episodes full of charm just unveiled by Netflix . To those who angoissaient to the idea of not finding the spirit of Gilmore Girls, have no fear. The most talkative girls in the world have not changed an inch and the residents of Stars Hollow either. Kirk is still crazy, Patty and Babette still love gossip, Taylor is still authoritarian, Luke is still as grumpy and this is also how we love them. Between winter, spring, summer and fall, we follow a year in the life of those who had so much missed. And the first impression that emerges is that the Revival is very well done as if the story was written by herself in the head of Amy Sherman-Palladino . Clearly, she knew where she was going and the strengths and weaknesses of each were superbly represented. Indeed, Lorelai and Rory still have the same problems but seem determined to move forward and finally reach the stage which will lead them to happiness.
If you are fans of the series since its inception, it is almost impossible not to be moved as the nostalgia and winks are waiting for you. Everything is carefully written to dive back happily in the small details that make Gilmore Girls, a series jovial, bright, generous and moving . The relationship between Lorelai and Emily is still complicated but it never seemed more authentic. With the death of Richard and all that that implies, it is a new chapter that must write the daughters of the family. And if our favorite Emily first struggles to recover, we loved the view fight to regain control of his life. In the end, despite the difficulties that will mark forever his relationship with his daughter, perhaps is it finally time for them to forgive. For its part, Rory offers us beautiful moments and seems to thrive backwards as if his professional woes allowed him to discover itself. A realistic picture of what may be the obstacles through which young people after graduation. Still as endearing the young woman matures and we like to see confront the three men in her life during the four episodes. We note especially the scene she shares with Dean, moving and bittersweet devilishly.
Moreover, how not to be met by finding all our favorite characters together? Not one is missing and after nine years of absence, it was a real salvation to see them all one last time. However, we regret that some plots are somewhat short shrift. Indeed, the producers and writers did not have much time and they were a bit messy sometimes to the point of losing ourselves a spatio-temporal point of view. Similarly, we wanted to know what had happened during that time. It’s a bit strange to hide certain events that took place in the last episode of Season 7. Finally, we’re a little confused by the last four words of the series that definitely leaves an open door and we leave you discover. Anyway, the most hardcore fans should love the Revival as it is true to what made the magic of Gilmore . Well-crafted, engaging and melancholy to perfection, this suite has something to cry in the cottages but do not panic! It is also the cheerful cocktail and joy that we have always known. Long live the Gilmore! Pending more information, see now the four episodes of Gilmore Girls already Revival and already available on Netflix. And you, what did you think of the Revival?
The post Gilmore Girls: The spirit of Stars Hollow intact in a magical result, our first impressions! first appeared on The Siver Times.
