While the first phase of the 2017 World Cup is now over, many completely unexpected series have been eliminated. We make the point!
The parade of the losers! Yes, the meltynauts, if many series have managed to pass the very first stage of this 2017 World Cup, others have unfortunately not succeeded in convincing you and have therefore been eliminated. While melty’s editor suggested you discover which series were selected for the round of 16 , let’s come back together on all the shows we thought were untouchable and yet rolled!
The Flash
This is the big fall for the DC Comics show. Indeed, if Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow managed to make it into the round of 16, it is not the case of The Flash which is perhaps under the third set of reverses below the previous ones. It leaves its place at Stranger Things, a real phenomenon this year and at The Vampire Diaries which offered us its very last season this year. Big disappointment for all fans of The Flash who hoped to see her brandishing the trophy.
Westworld
The HBO show did not last very long in the competition and it is quite unexpected given the success it has met with the public. New, fresh and disconcerting, Westworld had managed to attract the favors of the greatest number thanks to an original, complex and deep pitch. If she has not managed to go further, we can imagine that it is because it has stopped being broadcast a few months and that its second season will not be launched before 2018. Orange is The New Black

While the season 4 of The Flash will not be broadcast until next October, return on the three best episodes of season 3!
We take stock! Yes, the meltynauts, if the third one of the show has sometimes been uneven, the fact remains that several episodes have marked us enormously. While the series will unfortunately not return before the re-entry on the CW , it’s time to go back on the episodes that have transported this year . While Melty was writing to find out who could play DeVoe in Season 4 of The Flash with Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries) or Keegan Allen (Pretty Little Liars) , here are our top 3 episodes of the season !
3 / Cause and Effect (3×21)
This episode marked a small pause in the heavy intrigue between Savitar and The Flash. If it served essentially to delay the confrontation of the two enemies, it had the merit to offer us a good breath of fresh air just before the last two episodes much more serious. It must be said that we laughed on discovering that Cisco had erased Barry’s memory by accident and that the latter now had a blissful air and a lightness that was unfamiliar to him. Under the frivolous surroundings, this episode showed us the path traveled by our hero who seemed to finally accept his suffering and move on. Above all, we realized that even if Barry was happy, he was unfortunately the Barry we knew and loved.
2 / Paradox (3×02)
If the Season premiere had somewhat disappointed the fans, the second episode was very intense. We discovered the new Timeline created by our hero and it was clear that he had put a damn mess in the lives of his relatives. For the first time, Barry appeared as the villain of his own story, who had not hesitated to show selfishness by bringing his mother back without worrying about the consequences this might have had on his friends. And we can say, nothing was like before . Between Caitlin’s powers, the death of Cisco’s brother, Caitlin’s powers, and so on, Barry became aware of his mistakes. But “Paradox” was also an opportunity to learn more about the Doctor Alchemy.
1 / The Once and Future Flash (3×19)
In this episode, Barry decided to take charge and go in the future to learn more about Savitar. There, he found Cisco, Killer Frost and a version of himself completely defeated since the death of Iris. Very moving, “The Once and Future Flash” was mostly marked by an exceptional performance by Grant Gustin who played with himself for most of the episode. Moreover, it is always interesting to explore new eras and this time, Barry managed to give hope to his friends but especially to himself. A very well orchestrated episode! While the season 4 of The Flash will not be broadcast until October on the CW, here are 5 questions we ask about the sequel!

They are already missing! Yes, the meltynauts, it is only a few weeks that the series focused on the fastest man in the world has granted his summer break but we are already very nostalgic. It must be said that this third chapter ended on a real cliffhanger and that we are very intrigued by the possibilities left open for a fourth season which will unfortunately not be broadcast until next October. While Melty’s editor suggested finding out if Eddie would soon be back in Season 4 of The Flash , let’s get back together on the main issues we are facing following a spectacular Season Finale
1- Will Wally become the hero of the show?
This is the great theory that is currently circulating on networks. Indeed, in the comics, when Barry retires in the Speed Force, it leaves its place of The Flash to Wally which then defends Central City for about twenty years. Would it be possible for the series to decide to follow the same path by offering a good promotion to Keiynan Lonsdale? Everything is possible even if we have a hard time imagining the show without Grant Gustin.
2 – Will Killer Frost join the team?

The Season Finale of season 3 of The Flash was very intense! Back on the three key moments of “Finish Line”!
We could not escape, a character died in the Season Finale of season 3 of The Flash . While in the previous episode Barry had seen Iris die before his eyes, fans wondered if it was not HR who had sacrificed himself by taking the appearance and therefore, the place of the young woman. This theory was soon confirmed. It was HR who was the victim of this Season Finale of season 3 of The Flash . But if Earth 19’s Harrison Wells managed to dupe Savitar and save Iris, the battle with the big bad of season 3 was not over. Barry and his team had to show bravery and boldness to overcome Savitar in this Season Finale which also began teaser season 4 of The Flash . Iris now has a future ahead of her
HR took the place of Iris but nothing proved to us that Savitar would not again attack Barry’s fiancee once he discovered that he was duped. Thus, Barry, Iris and Joe immediately checked whether the article about Flash was written again by Iris West Allen . Just like the fans, our favorite heroes have been reassured. The character of Candice Patton does indeed have a future in front of her and that is much better!

Barry spent season 3 trying to save his dear and tender! However, it was finally Iris who saved her fiancé. At the beginning of the show, Clarke represented the good girlfriend a little moralistic and always straight in her boots. And then he began to see horrible things, to win most battles, to review his judgment and to show himself increasingly arrogant to the point of believing himself invincible. By deciding to kill some of the Saviors in a terrifying episode, the guy made a choice that the Governor could have made. Not sure that this comparison is flattering!
Marcel Gerard (The Originals)
Marcel has a particularly moving story and he has been a faithful Mikaelson for so long that we have always been disappointed with the lack of recognition of these. And what was to happen happened. After the deaths of Cami and Davina, Marcel understood that no one could enter this family much too tight . And while we had known him calm, nice and funny, he became angry, bitter and sad about the CW . Our hero has embraced the forces of evil but it is not Klaus who will be able to throw the first stone at him.
Barry Allen (The Flash)
If you’ve seen the last episode of The Flash, you know that Savitar’s identity has finally been revealed and that the Big Bad of the new season is none other than the Flash of the Future. Our Barry Allen, so gentle, so kind and so generous, ended by embracing the darkness and killing the woman of her life. Finally ! And yes the meltynauts, after months of waiting and questioning, the identity of Savitar has finally been revealed in an episode simply crazy. Whether one is a terribly passionate fan or a mere casual amateur of the series, impossible to remain marble facing this revelation as expected as fear. Never before had The Flash brought us so much from a classic episode to a crucial and devilish episode. Let’s face it, the CW’s flagship series reached an incredible level last night and we love it! While Melty’s editor suggested you discover our criticism of Season 3 episode 19 of The Flash , let’s go back to the main events that marked ” Killer Frost had difficulty performing his mission . Indeed, the young woman stays on the reserve not succeeding in letting her evil look-alike take full control. A saving hesitation which proves that it is perhaps still time to save it.
For their part, our heroes traced Tracy Brand, a scientist rejected by his companions. Indeed, his theories about speedsters make everyone laugh and everyone thinks they have to make a furious madman. But we know how important it is to save Iris and the future. Tracy immediately developed a bond with HR And the duo works wonderfully offering us an indispensable dose of humor in this episode where the suspense and the darkness almost ended us . A complicity that we are eager to find in the continuation of the show. In addition, Joe began to seriously doubt his relationship with Cecil. While the episode 16 of season 3 of The Flash has just been broadcast on the CW, let’s get back together on the events that marked “Into The Speedforce”!
An incredible episode! And yes the meltynautes, after we proposed a terribly moving episode last week, it is a real challenge that waited Barry last night on the CW . Indeed, more than ever, it is the consequences of his actions that have led the whole characters into a delicate situation and it is up to him to bear the burden. While Melty’s editor suggested discovering our criticism of Season 3 Episode 15 of The Flash , let’s review the main events that marked “Into The Speedforce” broadcast last night on the American network. And the least we can say is that our hero does not, Had never been faced so frontally with his mistakes. Let us not forget that the Flashpoint remains the main plot of this third chapter and that each of the storylines was triggered by the decision of Barry at the end of season 2. While the young man had decided to go ahead and ask To Wally to save Iris from the death of Savitar, he now understood that the fate of the young woman was his punishment and that he alone had the power to change things. If the Speedforce had been magnanimous before, today, she is determined to make him pay for his actions. The Flash Season 3: Episode 13, Barry faces Grodd, our critic

Last night, episode 13 of season 3 of The Flash was broadcast on the CW. So it’s time to discover our criticism of “Attack on Gorilla City”.
After a week of absence, Barry and his team came back for our greatest happiness and to say that this wait was worth it. Last night, episode 13 of season 3 of The Flash was broadcast on the CW and it sent heavy, even very heavy. Barry and the team The Flash went to Earth-2 and this episode had a real touch of freshness. Let’s go back in detail to “Attack on Gorilla City” which was, in our eyes, very successful. The episode opens with Jesse arriving on Earth-1, panicked because his father disappeared. She did not hear from him anymore, so she asked Barry and her friends for help. Obviously, the team does not hesitate for a second to sacrifice itself to save the people who, They love and that’s what they did. Direction Eart-2 and more precisely Gorilla City to go on the tracks of Harry. This little trip to another land did not go as planned and our hero fell into a trap made by Grodd. Kidnapped and held prisoner, Barry, Cisco, Caitlin and Julian and Harry will have to bend to the will of the gorilla to try to get out!
Grodd brought in The Flash to kill the leading gorilla of Gorilla City. He threatens to destroy his land if he does not do exactly what he says. Barry faces a big dilemma, “to kill or to be killed” and to say that the answer does not immediately appear to him. Fortunately, Barry found a solution by entering a deal with Solovar and confronting him in a fight, but not mortal. “Attack on Gorilla City” really impressed us. The action was at the rendezvous and the episode offered us an epic fight between Barry and a gorilla. The special effects were not lacking and were very well realized, for the pleasure of our eyes.
Obviously, Barry came to the end of Solovar but unfortunately Grodd did not respect his share of the market and refused to release them as well as Harry. Our favorite team has found a smart ploy . Since Grodd demanded that one member of their team die for the others to be released, Barry asked Caitlin to cool him to make believe in his death. Everything worked as expected and they were able to escape to return to Earth-1. The reunion between Harry and his daughters was intense but what really marked us is the relationship between Wally and Jesse who is adorable . If it has experienced some problems, their history is only stronger at the end of “Attack on Gorilla City” And Jesse makes the big decision to stay on Earth-1 alongside the Kids Flash. We are charmed by this duo that offers us beautiful surprises! Moreover, Caitlin and Julian came closer even if the young woman warns him and tries to repel it. Is a new couple forming? The 100, The Flash, Powerless: The record of US audiences of the week!

Like every Saturday, it’s time to take stock of the American audiences of your favorite series. So who’s on top, who makes a flop? Discover it now!
That said new month also said new series since several shows have started or made their big comeback during the week that has just passed. Monday: In the absence of several of the CBS comedies, Lucifer is leading with 4.19 million Americans ahead of the FOX series and 1.2% on target. Gotham still knows a slight decrease with 3.46 million curious and 1.1%. On CBS, only The Odd Couple was aired and it was the season – series? – final. For the occasion the channel has proposed two unprecedented episodes, the first attracted 5.78 million viewers and the second 5.30 million, with respectively rates of 1.1% and 0.9% over 18-49 . Meanwhile, NBC has proposed Timeless (3.51 million and 0.9%) and Quantico continues to suffer on ABC with only 2.76 million fans and 0.7%. Decidedly, 2017 fails to Supergirl which is still down this week with 2.33 million people but only 0.7% on target. Jane The Virgin is also down (910,000 and 0.3%) and the same goes for Shadowhunters (580,000 and 0.2%) on Freeform.
Tuesday : Without the presence of large sets of NBC and CBS, it was with surprise that the CW takes the lead. Indeed, episode 11 of season 3 of The Flash gathered 3.06 million viewers with a 1.1% and this is the best audience series of the evening! It is followed closely by The Mick (2.97 million and 1.1%), on FOX, which is rising while Bones (3.76 million and 0.8%) decrease slightly. Legends of Tomorrow (1.78 million and 0.7%) did better agents of SHIELD (2.15 million and 0.6%) on ABC even if it draws more people in total. The cable side, there was the return of season 4 of The Fosters and the launch of Season 5 of Switched at Birth. The Fosters (920 000 0.4%) slightly lower returns and same goes for Switched at Birth (600 000 0.2%). Teen Wolf remains stable on MTV with 450,000 curious and 0.2%.
Wednesday : This week was marked by the return of The 100 on the CW, and for the first episode of the fourth season we can not say that the series has made shine. If last year’s 1.88 million curious followed the season premiere of season 3, this year there were 1.21 million, with a rate of 0.4% over 18-49 years . She remains behind Arrow , which remains unchanged from last week with 1.91 million and 0.6%. Otherwise, it’s Criminal Minds dominates the evening, since there were 7.45 million viewers (1.3%) before CBS. The chain also proposed Black Code (6.80 million and 1.1%). Arrow season 5: Episode 10, SPOILER arrives and upsets the Team, our critic!

While Arrow 10’s Season 5 episode aired last night on the CW, let’s get back to the main events that have paced “Who are You?”
More disillusionment! And yes the meltynauts, while we ended up believing that the beautiful Laurel Lance had come back from the dead, our hopes were officially wiped out in an episode as strong and impressive as the final mid-season was. Arrow finds colors and plays skillfully – and a bit cruelly – with our nerves to offer us a max of surprises and upheavals. While the editorial ‘of melty proposed to discover the promotional video of episode 11 of season 5 of Arrow , back in detail on the main events that occurred in “Who are you” aired last night the CW . And the least that can be said is that Black Siren deserves an Oscar as her acting act almost convinced us even as the trailer unveiled recently confirmed that our Laurel to us was indeed dead. So obviously, some details were working but it is clear that to see the face of Katie Cassidy was a real pleasure. I must say it seemed more fun in the skin of the badass Black Siren and it was a pleasure to see . However, difficult not to have trouble for our hero who was once again mauled by Prometheus. No doubt this villain has a tenacious grudge against Oliver and is ready to do anything to make him die. Fortunately, Felicity, made much more fierce by the murder of Billy, set out to set the record straight and did his best to make Oliver listen to reason more overwhelmed than ever.
Still in guilt mode, the arrival of Black Siren pushed him in his way and he was ready to bet his life and those of others on the possibility that the Laurel of Earth-2 could become as nice as the one we had always known. In spite of everything, one can not deny how the young woman revolutionized intrigues. Good news as this early season seemed soft . A little more daring and intensity immediately made the difference and it is clear that “Who are you ?” Was in line with the final mid-season which was also fantastic. The Flash Season 3: Episode 10, the team is ready to do anything to save Iris, our critic!

While the episode 10 of season 3 of The Flash was broadcast last night on the CW, back on the main events that marked “Borrowing Problems From The Future”!
They were finally back! And yes meltynautes, after more than a month of absence and so much expectation, Team Flash finally made his comeback on the CW . Between emotion, detour by the future and cohesion stronger than ever, the Winter Premiere of the show was able to be convincing and surprising. After making us shudder at the beginning of last December by raising the possibility of seeing Iris die tragically, The Flash wanted to be audacious and offered us last night a taste of what awaits us in this second part of the season . While the editorial ‘of melty announced that Darren Criss (Glee) joined the musical crossover that will bring The Flash and Supergirl , back on the main events that marked “Borrowing Problems From The Future” . And the least we can say is that our hero has many difficulties to resume his daily life while knowing that a sword of Damocles weighs on the fate of the woman of his life. Tormented, surly and depressed, Barry does not know what to do to prevent such a calamity from occurring . Ready to do anything, he even made a deliberate attempt to let Plunder, a violent robber, escape for fear of accelerating the death of Iris since the arrest of the thief made the front page of the newspaper he had discovered in Traveling in the future. In short, Barry wants to the whole earth and it is unfortunately Wally which makes the expenses. After realizing that he could not hide such a secret from Iris any longer, the young man eventually confessed to it.
And we can only applaud the heartbreaking and fabulously authentic performance of Grant Gustin and Candice Patton. More in love than ever, Iris Barry and yet see their future compromise in a particularly difficult scene to look for those that are downright delighted by the WestAllen torque . And it is courageously that they decide together to ask the team for help. And we love their cohesion. While the first seasons had served rather to test the limits of their friendship, this third chapter highlights this magnificent unity. For even if the situation seems desperate, each one puts his skills at the service of this quest. Nobody wants to give up and see Barry accepting help even though he had refused so much before. After a journey in the future, our heroes understand that they will have to change several different events in order to stop Savitar. Can they do that? Meanwhile, Caitlin was getting closer to Julian. Both share many commonalities and its arrival in the Team promises to reserve us many surprises. If it seems unsympathetic, no doubt that the influence of our favorite characters should make him less suspicious. And who knows? Perhaps he will open his heart to Caitlin!
Besides, the threat Killer Frost still weighs on the young woman’s frail shoulders and we are anxious to know if she will be able to prevent her double evil from regaining control. Julian’s help could, in any case, make all the difference. For his part, HR Wells finally saw his STAR Labs project come to fruition and if no one truly believed in him, he still managed the feat of putting his project into action. Unfortunately, this is far from being a success and after several criticisms, Cisco finally launched and offered its support. HR is an asset for the show as its good humor slice considerably with the heavy atmosphere that reigns for some time in the episodes. But his safety will be threatened next week by Gypsy who plans to bring him back to Earth-19. An old character will soon be returning in season 3 of The Flash and could sow the trouble between the couple West-Allen!
Following the season 3 of The Flash looks tasty! Not only, Zoom could come back as Black Flash but Ronnie, embodied by Robbie Amell, will also be back. In addition, we learned that Season 3 of The Flash would Thawne Eddie, played by Rick Cosnett, reappear in Central City! Yes, the ex-fiancé of Iris who had sacrificed himself to kill his descendant, Eobard Thawne aka Reverse-Flash, returns.
