While waiting to have the first results, we offer you a short return on some of the best episodes of this television season 2016-17 . Obviously we can not quote them all, so do not hesitate to fill in the list and tell us what you think are the most deserving series.
Agents of SHIELD – 4×15 “Self Control”
This fourth season of Agents of SHIELD proved to be a success from start to finish , with three fascinating arcs worn by agents always on top. But we must admit that the episode that won the palm is for us the 4×15 which closes the second part “LMD” and lays the foundations of the third: Agents of Hydra . Suspicions, clones and touching reunion, everything is there to show us the best of Agents of SHIELD.
The Walking Dead – 7×01 “The Day Will Come When You Will not Be”
Despite a season not constant, The Walking Dead has offered us very good episodes this year, including the premiere season. Obviously the shock was total after the death of Abraham then Glenn, but it is not only because of this that the episode has marked us . Not only did the season premiere of Season 7 feature a Negan as cruel and charismatic as expected, but it also revealed a side of Rick totally unknown up to now. From the performance of Andrew Lincoln to the grief of Maggie, many things make this episode a success.
Gray’s Anatomy – 13×24 “Rings of Fire”
The season of Gray’s Anatomy 13 proved a bit soft but it is in its last episodes the writers awoke. Rather than killing Stephanie whose actress was cast for another series, it was a heroic outing that was written to her, and what a release. An awesome fire, courage to resell and amazing wisdom, this has allowed Stephanie Edwards to leave the series worthily while offering us a final season memorable.
Big Little Lies – 1×07 “You Get What You Need”
Jean-Marc Vallée’s miniseries based on Liane Moriarty’s book was acclaimed, not only because of its 5-star cast. After an intensity that climbed crescendo throughout the season, the series ended on a magisterial final season that paid tribute to all her heroines . Brutality, passion and denouement have blended to offer us without a doubt one of the best episodes of 2017.
13 Reasons Why – 1×11 “Tape 6, Side A”
Certainly the 13 episodes of the series were heartbreaking, but it was probably episode 11 that was among the most anticipated and most feared at the same time. Clay’s cassette finally let us know that Hannah did not blame her, but the revelations that accompanied the episode were more than hard to digest . In short, an intense condensation of violence mingled with a touch of relief that earned him his place among the best episodes of 2016-17.
Orange is the New Black – 5×13 “Storm-y Weather”
Last episode of a successful season, “Storm-y Weather” showed us the offensive on Lichtfield to continue to highlight the violence of the forces even against peaceful detainees. After three days of revolt, the semi-freedom of all the prisoners ended in a brutal assault that resulted in a cliffhanger . The image of Piper, Alex, Tayster, Red, Gloria and the others in the pool, holding hands with the music of Cinematic Orchestra in the background was enough to make it one of the best episodes of the season. And you, what episodes have you marked this year?
The post The Walking Dead, 13 Reasons Why, Gray’s Anatomy: The most crazy episodes of the season! first appeared on The Siver Times.

They swapped the big screen for the small …
The level Champion’s League what. A more valid observation in this period of golden age for the series and decline of the 7th art. The Hollywood monuments no longer hesitate to pass a head through the small skylight. The proof.
Kevin Spacey in “House of Cards”
It was thought to associate it forever with this sheitan of Verbal Kint, his cult role in “Usual Suspects” . But for a few years now, the Oscar-winning actor has succeeded in establishing himself as the president of the States in our minds. Thanks to the series of phenomena “House of Cards” where his gifts of manipulator are still marvelous. Special mention also to his wife, Claire Underwood, encamped by the genius Robin Wright, that we saw before in “Princess Bride” and “Forrest Gump” …
His films include “Usual Suspects”, “Se7en”, “American Beauty”, “LA Confidential”, “A Better World”, “The Life of David Gale” …
Tom Hardy in “Taboo”
Quoted at episodic apparitions in “Peaky Blinders” , Tom Hardy gave his person (and his money) to create his own series: “Taboo” . A delirium in 19th-century London, between political conspiracies and shamanism. In short, an ambitious project in which Tom Hardy does … Tom Hardy. The good man does not speak or almost speak, even if it becomes his own caricature. I do not hide that I am done in the 8 episodes, hoping that season 2 finally takes off.
His films include “Bronson”, “Inception”, “The Dark Knight Rises”, “Mad Max Fury Road”, “Men Without Law”, “Warrior”, “The Revenant” …
Tom Hiddleston in “The Night Manager”
England, once again honored. Resting on the duality between spy and arms trafficker, “The Night Manager” recruited heavy for the two leading roles. First with Hugh Laurie aka the punchlineur Dr. House. And then calling on Tom Hiddleston, a regular blockbuster, especially via his role as Loki in MCU. A successful bet since the latter won in 2016 the Golden Globe of the best actor in a mini-series or a TV movie
His movies of ouf ‘ : “Thor”, “Avengers”, Kong: Skull Island “…
Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson in “True Detective”
8 episodes: it was the time it took Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey to bend the game of the series. The first season of “True Detective” is a must for any serious series , whether it is at the level of writing, the visual and sound atmosphere, and of course the interpretation of the Hollywood duo who had already worked Together on the film “Live on EdTV” . Unfortunately, the same can not be said of Season 2 and their successors Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn …
McConaughey’s “Ouf ‘movies: ” Rebel Generation “,” Dallas Buyers Club “,” Interstellar “,” The Wall Street Wolf “,” Magic Mike “…
Harrelson’s films: “The Whites can not jump”, “Killers”, “Larry Flint”, “No country for old men”, “Welcome to Zombieland”, “Hunger Games”, “Unseizable “…
Daniel Radcliffe in “A Young Doctor’s Notebook”
He will definitely spend the rest of his career trying to get rid of his Harry Potter label (good luck). A challenge that goes through the cinema but also the world of series, where little Daniel made a rather successful foray with his role as a young Russian doctor during World War I in the mini-series “A Young Doctor’s Notebook” . Ironically, he shares the role with Jon Hamm, a size of the small screen (“Mad Men”) that tries to make the opposite way towards the cinema.
His movies of ‘ouf’: ah all the Harry Potter
Steve Buscemi in “Boardwalk Empire”
Nothing is ever too big for HBO who through “Boardwalk Empire” has let loose a lot of sorrel so that you think you are in the Atlantic City of years prohibitions. Produced by Martin Scorsese, the series had to attract a heavyweight for the starring role of Nucky Thompson. This was done with Steve Buscemi, who slipped into the smart suits of the alcohol trafficking in Atlantic City. A series I advise to everyone.
His films include “Reservoir Dogs”, “Fargo”, “The Big Lebowski”, “The Wings of Hell”, “Armageddon” …
Tim Roth in “Lie To Me”
And here is his comrade of “Reservoir Dogs” who follows him with “Lie To Me” , where Dr. Cal Lightman, behavioral expert, manages to detect the mythos. A gift he puts to the service of the FBI (Mr. Orange and the police, a great love story). Between us, Tim Roth is the main selling point of this series that does not revolutionize the genre.
His films are: “Reservoir Dogs”, “Pulp Fiction”, “The Planet of the Apes”, “Funny Games”, “The Incredible Hulk”, “The Eight Bastards” …
Nicole Kidman in “Big Little Lies”
With Nicole Kidman but also Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley, “Big Little Lies” has fanned the cast 5 stars, which would make salivate any Hollywood production. But it could be that the mini-series remains in the state of one-shot, the last tendency being to the pessimism concerning a season 2 of “Big Little Lies”.
His films include “Eyes Wide Shut”, “Moulin Rouge”, “The Others”, “The Hours”, “Dogville”, “Paperboy”, “Lion” …
Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris in “Westworld”
Despite their advanced age and long career as the arm, Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris had never had regular roles in a series. Far too busy they were to shine at the movies. Well, it should be emphasized that the two monuments did not agree to play in the first series came. “Westworld” is undoubtedly the most gigantic television project of the last decades , and season 1 has barely sketched all the potential of this SF fresco. We want more !
Their movies of ‘ouf’: the list is far too long …
Bonus: Gerard Depardieu in “Marseille”
He could have dispensed with it …
The post These immensely Hollywood actors who enjoy themselves in TV series first appeared on The Siver Times.

For more distracted, you can refresh your memory with our review of episode 3 of Big Little Lies , always available melty. And for others, let us get to episode 4 titled “Push Comes to Shove” which is also available on OCS City. This week, Jane’s past is revealed sensitive and realistic way and his confessions to Madeline set the tone for an episode that showed us women prisoners standards, too afraid of foreign judgment to express their feelings . When Jane spoke of the rape she had undergone, she confessed to Madeline that, Having spoken of it has liberated it somehow from the grip of this drama and that his body finally wakes up. With all the restraint so she is capable – that is to say not enormously – Madeline encourages her to follow this path and listen to her body that Jane finally seems to reclaim. A touching and important scene since it was essential that the revelation on Jane’s past does not pass to the trap without defining the character completely around it.
In addition, the young mother also had to face the unfounded accusations of the mistress of Ziggy who accused her of abusing Amabella. We are slowly aware of the unpleasant treatment that must be reserved for the boy at school and fortunately, the psychiatrist that Ziggy will see reassures Jane. According to his diagnosis, Ziggy is neither violent nor a sociopath and these words help Jane to push the idea that a child born of rape necessarily inherit the violence of the act in which it was designed . Big Little Lies continues to treat delicate subjects in delicacy and to talk about while making it difficult not to attach to his characters. On the side of Celeste also the embarrassed confessions take place, always thanks to the attentive ear of Madeline. After helping her to fight for her play against the mayor, Celeste confesses to her best friend that the life of a mother is not enough for her and that her profession as a lawyer is missing. The debate between family and working life for women is still relevant and the series shows how it can be taboo for a mother to admit that her children are “not enough”.
Once again, Madeline encourages her friend and even adds her voice in order to get the message: to want to do something else than to look after her children is quite legitimate, just as she wants to be a stay-at-home mother. It is up to each woman to make her choice. Whether for Jane or for Celeste, the presence of Madeline quietly but surely helps to reinforce the idea that any judgment on the emotions felt by the two women would be ridiculous and they are the only masters of their destiny . One can imagine Celeste continuing on this path, hoping that the bursts of violence of Perry do not discourage her. Besides that, Madeline has her own problems with Abigail’s departure from her father and the return of her father, A former lover who is none other than the director of the theater with whom she assembles the famous play that makes controversy. Only what seemed to be halfway between flirting and attempting to reconquer was much closer to harassment when he followed it and despite their history together, it is hoped that he will be able to record the final “no” Madeline. Big Little Lies gave us an interesting episode, with ever less scenes on the investigation and a near monopoly of our trio of heroines. Despite an idyllic setting and a well-stocked bank account, Celeste, Madeline and Jane all have to deal with various forms of violence that may be the presage of the murder of history. In the meantime next week, Episode 5 is available above and our weekly series program gives you all the appointments not to be missed! And you, what did you think of the episode?
The post Big Little Lies: Episode 4, violence is hidden everywhere, our critic first appeared on The Siver Times.

2017 has clearly started on the hats, the meltynauts! It must be said that the writers seem to have given themselves for all the series. We are not going to hide it the Top Series of February was quite difficult to establish, as the quality of the episodes diffused was general. However, we found common ground and we were able to list the 10 series that have marked the last 28 days on television . There is a medical series, a family drama, and even a series of espionage. Are you ready ? So let’s go !
10 / Big Little Lies
Launched on HBO a week ago, Big Little Lies proved to be a quality series from its pilot. With the second episode aired on Sunday night, David E. Kelley’s series featuring Shailene Woodley, Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon showed she was not there to joke. We are dealing here with very serious, sometimes disturbing subjects and all that, against a background of murder . In short, we can advise you to put yourself in Big Little Lies, whose first season will be composed of 7 episodes.
9 / The Mick
At melty, we rarely talk about comedy, but we would not do our job properly if The Mick was not in this top! The series is a real television nugget. Each episode is frankly hilarious and what is good is that the actors seem to have fun to shoot and it feels! And good news for the fans of the series: The Mick was renewed for a season 2. What to install properly in his chair so binge watcher quietly the first season.
8 / The 100
After a disappointing third season, The 100 was back at the beginning of the month for his fourth chapter. Four episodes later, the results are very positive and one gets the impression that the writers have learned from their past mistakes . The tension within the different clans is present more than ever and it is particularly interesting to see how each character reacts while he knows himself condemned. A war is brewing in episode 5 of season 4 of The 100 and so much you say that a bloodbath is just two fingers to occur. Enjoy!
7 / Homeland
Ahhhh, Homeland! Nobody gave much of the skin of the series after the death of Brody at the end of season 3. But it is clear that the show has more than one trick in his bag. Seasons 4 and 5 were great and with this start of season 6, Homeland takes us again short . The tension is palpable, the characters are jostled, the plot is exciting and you clearly feel like watching a new series. In short, we pull our hat at the show, which happens to renew each year! Well done, guys!
6 / Gray’s Anatomy
After a fairly disappointing first part of season 13, Gray’s Anatomy raises the level like never before with its new episodes. The story of Alex now settled, the show can now focus on the war that takes place within the hospital between Minnick and the incumbents. Taking sides is risky and some characters find themselves in the middle of the battlefield. Once again, Gray’s Anatomy proves that we can surprise after more than twelve years of antenna and for that reason, the series of Shonda Rhimes deserves its place in our Top!
5 / Scandal
We believed more, but she did! Scandal, who has suffered many scenario failures in recent seasons, has succeeded in a coup de maître: to propose in season 6 episodes of a very good level. It’s like going back to the good old days of season 2. The assassination of Vargas was a great idea that redistributed the cards and today we are witnessing a particularly intense game of power . In short, we love this start of the season and we hope that the next 12 episodes will be just as successful! In fact, episode 5 of season 6 of Scandal will be released on March 9 on ABC.
4 / The Walking Dead
Everyone agrees: after his season 7 premiere, The Walking Dead disappointed. But we can only applaud the beginning of the second part of the season that unites everything we love in the series: danger, zombies, confrontations, reunion, emotion and tension. With the war between our heroes and the Saviors, we can only be excited by what lies ahead, and frankly we are impatient with the idea of seeing blood flowing to the Sanctuary. One thing is certain: the end of the season looks explosive and we can already launch bets on who will die and especially how!
3 / The Vampire Diaries
To say goodbye to a series is always difficult, but the task is much simpler when the last episodes are just crazy. It must be said that for this last chapter of the adventures of the Salvatore and their loved ones, Julie Plec and all her team surpassed. It feels like seeing The Vampire Diaries from the beginning, which surprised, shocked, moved us and even made us laugh . So yes, the final series is fast approaching, but we can only be happy that the show ends on a nice note!
2 / How to Get Away with Murder
HTGAWM struck again. This second part of the season – very dark – could be disconcerting at times, but Peter Nowalk’s show was not as successful from a psychological point of view of the characters. The revelation of the identity of the guilty party of the murder of one of the characters is almost in the background as the scenes brought by the others were incredible. The time will be particularly long before the season 4, but not serious, we will do the first three seasons in the biggest calm.
1 / Riverdale
This month, our number 1 series is Riverdale, recently launched on the CW. My god this show is enjoyable. We were eagerly waiting to discover a new teen-show that would make us vibrate as Gossip Girl was able to do in its beginnings and it is a successful mission for Riverdale . The series contains all the ingredients of an exciting series: a murder, mysteries, secrets, a disturbing little town, tension, lies, sex, scandal … in short, Riverdale is THE series of the month of February. And good news: it is available on Netflix! So you have no excuse for not going to discover it (if not already done)! And you, what series have you worshiped this month?
The post The Walking Dead, The Vampire Diaries, Riverdale, Scandal … Our Top Series of February 2017! first appeared on The Siver Times.
