Star Wars Rogue One: The Alternative End Unveiled!

The End of Star Wars: Rogue One Shocked You? If it can console you, we almost had a completely different ending.
Star Wars: Rogue One as seen in cinema last December did not always look like this! Between the original script and the final version, there have been many changes and some scenes have even had to be returned. And the end of the film is part of these latest changes . In the version we saw in the cinema, Jyn Erso, Cassian and their other acolytes do not get away and fall with Scarif. An end, to say the least brutal, which was not really expected. And this is normal, since in the original version, Jyn Erso and Cassian were not to die ! It is the screenwriter Gary Whitta who revealed this information, describing how Star Wars: Rogue One was to end. “A rebel ship descended on Scarif to pick them up. The transfer of the plans for the Star of Death took place later. They were jumping and later Leia’s ship had to come from Alderaan to help them. The transfer of data between the vessels was then off Scarif , “he said.
And it’s not over ! Gary Whitta also said that, as in the final version, Darth Vader obviously did not say his last word and so went on to pursue this data, destroying Jyn Erso’s ship. It was then found on the ship of Leia, rebasculating on the famous scene that opened episode IV, A New Hope . But the film did not stop there! A last image was to show us the debris of Jyn Erso’s ship, and we would have learned that Jyn and Cassian had managed to escape before. In short, what a twist! But the question now is: why did you finally decide not to save them? Simply because in reality the basic idea was to kill them all but not being sure to be allowed to do so, They preferred to present a first version where Jyn and Cassian were getting along. Eventually, they were pleasantly surprised when Lucasfilm agreed that the entire crew was to die. And so their fate was sealed. Unless they find a way to get Jyn Erso back? Star Wars Rogue One: How Jyn Erso Could Return, According to Felicity Jones

Given the end of Star Wars: Rogue One, Jyn is unlikely to reappear one day. Yet, for Felicity Jones, there would be a way to bring her back!
As the very first spin-off, Star Wars: Rogue One has more than managed his bet! Not only was he able to conquer the public and the fans of the license but he also managed to introduce new characters and to add new elements to his extended universe. But unlike Luke, Han or Rey, Jyn Erso, Cassian and company will probably never return to the big screen. And for good reason, the end of Star Wars: Rogue One , although necessary and logical, proves quite tragic, all the members of the rebel Jyn team each perishing their turn during their mission . A chain of deaths, moreover, which left us exhausted and heartbroken! But is there really no way to bring back some of our characters from the dead? Star Wars: Rogue One was originally supposed to end differently , including the survival of Jyn and Cassian. So how could our heroine eventually return to the Star Wars universe ? His interpreter, Felicity Jones, has his little idea on the matter!
Because imagine that the actress really believes that her character could one day come back. The only question is how! Interviewed by the HeyUGuys site on the subject, Felicity Jones, who said she loved the experience, had fun thinking about a way to get her character back. And as you will see, she has already explored a few tracks. ” I had an extraordinary experience and I could never have expected anything better – and people seemed to react well to that ,” she told the HeyUGuys site. ” It’s great to be part of that – who knows, maybe Jyn could reincarnate, you can imagine everything and anything, maybe it could come back in the form of a hologram! ” . Well, clearly, It’s unlikely that Jyn will reincarnate , as she was even pulverized at the end of Star Wars: Rogue One . And the theme of reincarnation has never been used in franchising.
On the other hand, yes, Jyn could come back in the form of a hologram, at the bend of a small cameo . We did not see him recording any message in the film but that does not mean that the possibility of seeing it again does not exist. After all, it inspired courage in the Rebel Alliance and allowed it to destroy the Black Star and stand up to the Empire! So it would not be surprising if Leia had somehow kept Jyn’s image. And if that’s not the case, we can still find it, as will also be the case for two other Star Wars characters: Rogue One, in the novel supposedly exploring his past . Star Wars Rogue One: An alternative end planned?

It may well be that the release date of the Blu-Ray movie was unveiled! Will we be entitled to epic bonuses as an alternative ending?
The spin-off Star Wars was the cardboard of this end of year 2016 but also of this beginning of year 2017 while staying at the head of the box office North American during the New Year’s weekend. Elsewhere the 28th film of the History (and the 3rd one of the universe Star Wars) exceeded the billion dollars of receipts. A real success for this first derivative of the intergalactic universe that gave mixed opinions at the beginning of its production . But the result is there, fans as well as critics were thrilled with the feature film of Gareth Edwards who is nominated Oscar in the category “Best Special Effects”. While a comprehensive guide to the Star Wars universe Rogue One film will soon be available on March 28, the release date of the DVD and Blu-Ray should be around the same period. Will he like in the edition of the Force Alarm many bonuses, featurettes and especially cut scenes? This is what we hope in any case, and we should not be the only ones! Remember that many scenes in the film had to be shot again, can we then see a few and learn the why of how this new shoot?
Even better, could part of the team still be alive in the first version? In the first trailer for Rogue One can see Jyn Cassian and run under enemy fire, the rebel holding plans in his hand. Only in the cinema, these plans never left the base, Jyn carrying them to the top of the Tower in order to transmit them to the Rebel fleet. Did some members of the team have to stay alive? Not at all ! Gareth Edwards spoke in Empire by announcing that there was no version of the film where the team survived: “I was waiting for someone to me ‘You know what? Should we shoot a scene more? where we would see Jyn Cassian and living on another planet? But it never happened. Nobody gave us this bill, so we did ” . A sad news for some fans, just the fact of keeping them alive would have added a new question to the three issues raised by the film saga resolved : why the team would be absent from A New Hope in this case? In any case, we are looking forward to discovering what the Blu-Ray edition has to offer! Will you buy Blu-Ray?

Star Wars Rogue One: Jyn and Cassian on images of deleted scenes

Many scenes from Star Wars: Rogue One, seen in the trailers, were removed at the final editing of the film. And some are revealed today thanks to images!

It is not going to lie, before Star Wars: Rogue One does so in film and became one of the biggest financial success of 2016, the film gave us a cold sweat. In question, the famous stages of reshooting and new scenes shot while the film was already in the editing room. At the time, it was thought that something was wrong with the plot, the tone or even the characters themselves. In the end, it turns out that these sequences have helped change … the end of Star Wars: Rogue One, which has very nearly ended differently . And that is why some images seen in the first trailers do not finally appear in the final version of the film! You know, like the one where we see Jyn running on the beach Scarif, plans for the Death Star in hand . Well, we do not know if there will ever be an opportunity to discover the scenes that were first shot first before being deleted. But at least we can now, thanks to Disney and Lucasfilm , some photos directly from these sequences!
And yes, there are certainly not many, these photos that were first unveiled on the site / Film. But at least they give us a glimpse of what could have been! The one on which Jyn is seen in the company of a relaxed and smiling Cassian makes us warm in the heart. As for the plans of the Black Star, they are quietly placed on Jyn’s sack. The picture is proof that our two heroes were originally supposed to survive their suicide mission before Gareth Edwards changes his mind. And we can even see the feet of Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen), the somewhat skeptical partner of Chirrut! He, too, had to come out alive, just as visibly as K-2SO. The presence of Alan Tudyk in combination of motion capture on a picture of the backstage where one sees the beach seems to at least attest.
On another image, we find of course Orson Krennic, a blaster in his hand while he stands in what looks like an imperial base. At melty, it could be imagined that this scene could have taken place in one of the Empire’s super-destroyers, in a confrontation between Krennic and Tarkin, who tries by every possible means to oust him and take his place in As commander of the Black Star. But this is obviously only a supposition! As one where we see Jyn, she should probably take place in the corridors of the headquarters of the Rebel Alliance . She holds her Kyber crystal in her hand, which suggests that she may be wondering about her motives or what she should do to help the rebels. In short, even with these images, it is clear that Star Wars: Rogue One could have been a movie very, very different ! Would you like to see these scenes in the movie?
