The charm is broken. They often start very well until our nerves drop. Here are the series we all enjoyed watching before they come out through the eyes !
New Girl
Jessica, a totally off-beat young woman who arrives in a colocation of guys after being badly dropped. The scenario could only please us! We loved the first seasons, we laughed in front of our screens at each episode … Then it became less good, more when Nick and Jess joined in season 3 . Pity !
Pretty Little Liars
You too loved the beginnings of PLL? I think we all agree today, but what is their problem? Everything had begun well, we were even downright addicted, in search of this famous A. Except that impatience weighed us in the long run and we dropped the case!
Heroes
The basic idea was good! Humans with a brain with exceptional abilities , able to acquire new powers by training … But it quickly beat us, in fact!
The Vampire Diaries
What is good with vampires is that they are immortal, what is annoying with vampires is that they are immortal! By dint of always always seeing the same thing, we preferred to stop there. And then what’s the point of continuing without Nina Dobrev?
The 100
One of the series that was released in the first season. The population on Earth completely decimated after a nuclear holocaust but valiant humans managed to survive in their space station … In short. Boring a bit … But obviously, the last season is cool, so it may be worth the hook to the final !
Once Upon a Time
The first 3 seasons were good, the story and its characters were on the road … But after it’s totally gone peanut and you loosely abandoned!
Dexter
This series has undergone a descent to hell … It should have stopped a long time ago . 9 seasons that could have been done in 4 to avoid repetition. Total boredom!
Prison Break
“I do not have time, my mind slips away. No choice, just go !” Thank you Faf Larage for this BO that we will never forget, but more seriously: Prison Break , it was really top, season 1 will remain in the annals. But it is the only one!
The Scott brothers !
This series was fire! Until Peyton and Lucas barred without warning . Not cool guys! We deserved better than that, frankly …
Friends VS How I Met Your Mother: Same Fight!
We loved these series! Excellent, cults, they made us crazy! Rendered with impatience! No, but serious, Ted? Your children have had time to die of boredom sitting on their chairs from season 1 to season 9 ! Especially that we did everything to hold to the end (by zaping a lot of episodes) to finally find out who was the mother of your kids! All that for that … Friends and its 10 seasons had the same effect. Everyone’s tastes, eh! Which series would you add to the list?
The post These series that have been released along the way! first appeared on The Siver Times.

These are the shows of the network channels that have not yet been renewed and whose fate remains totally uncertain . If, in general, it is sometimes possible to predict fairly easily through the hearings which series will be renewed, some are exceptional. Whether thanks to their critical success, a devoted fanbase or simply a show that is close to the heart of the chain, chains can sometimes afford to keep series with weak audiences.
ABC
On the ABC channel, there are four shows whose renewal is still uncertain: American Crime, Agents of SHIELD, Once Upon A Time and Quantico . As for the first, it has always been widely acclaimed by critics. Between his 13 Emmy nominations, including two trophies won, it is certain that the series is important for the chain. On the other hand, it also the series with the worst hearings of ABC. As far as Agents of SHIELD is concerned , it is the arrival of the new series The Inhumans that could harm him. Will ABC keep two shows Marvel knowing they are expensive to produce?
Once Upon A Time has always been ABC’s pillar on Sunday night but recently this pillar is falling apart. His audiences have never been so low and the contracts of the actors come to an end at the end of the season. Maybe a reboot of the series, with a new cast that would cost less to the chain would then be the solution for ABC to keep the series and that it offers a real renewal to its fans. Knowing that ABC is part of the same group as Disney, the series has several reasons to want to keep Once Upon A Time in its programs. Lastly, Quantico is also in the hot seat despite a slight rise in hearings since it passed on Monday evening.
CBS
This is the channel that has the most “in the bubble” series with 2 Broke Girls, Black Code, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Elementary and The Great Indoors. 2 Broke Girls is in its sixth season on CBS and if it has served much in the chain, its audiences keep tumbling down and the series could start to cost the chain a lot. The channel has already renewed 16 of its series and 2 Broke Girls was not part of it, is this a sign? The question also arises for the following series. If the arrival of Rob Lowe in season 2 of Code Black gave a new breath to the series, it was not enough to raise the hearings. As for Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders , in addition to having disappointing hearings for the channel, it also inherited the title of worst series in 2016, by Metacritic. The spin-offs of Criminal Minds are definitely struggling to find their audience.
The big advantage that Elementary has to hope for a new season is the fact that the series belongs to the chain. Besides that the show works very well internationally, which is always a plus . Unfortunately, Elementary does not work as well in the US and ranks 23rd out of the 26 programs CBS offers. Last year, the series was barely renewed, what will it be like this year? The Great Indoors is the only novelty in the chain that is “in the bubble” . While other comedies like Kevin Can Wait or Man With a Plan have already been renewed,
FOX
On the FOX side, it is for Gotham, The Last Man on Earth and New Girl that we worry . Gotham , whose season 3 has just resumed on the FOX, has not been renewed while that with which it forms a duet on Monday night, Lucifer , yes. The series is one of the ten best shows in the chain but the possible arrival of Gifted – a Marvel series – could perhaps push FOX to abandon Gotham to save money. In terms of The Last Man on Earth , hearings disclaim small to small, besides the basic premise of the series – one man survived the Apocalypse and is alone on Earth – began to s’ steam.
NBC
On NBC are the future of Blindspot, The Blacklist: Redemption and Timeless that are in the balance. Blindspot is currently completing its second season and the hearings are far from what they were at the beginning of the series. However, she has the merit of getting along not too badly in a difficult time slot, especially after leaving the lead-in of The Voice . But will this be enough for NBC to renew the series? As for The Blacklist: Redemption , which is the spin-off of The Blacklist , if the audiences of its eight episodes have been stable on average, the numbers remain well below those of the mother series. The series is at the bottom of the list of shows on NBC, with only Emerald City and Powerless behind it and we know that these two have already been canceled . Finally, the fate of Timeless is also uncertain because hearings began to be worse until reaching below the 3 million mark and below the 1% mark on 18-49 year olds. With Celebrity Apprentice as the lead-in in place of The Voice, Timeless works less well and it does not necessarily work in its favor. The fate of Timeless also is uncertain especially because the hearings began to be less good until reaching below the 3 million mark and below the 1% mark on 18-49 years old. The CW
The CW has already renewed many of its series, but iZombie and The Originals are on the spot, a bit like every year. While season 3 of iZombie has just arrived on the channel, the hearings are not really in the fixed. However, the series Rob Thomas are often acclaimed by critics, as was Veronica Mars , and IZombie no exception to the rule. Can we then expect a season 4 to the series knowing that it hardly does better than Frequency which will most likely be canceled? If some thought that the end of The Vampire Diaries would play in favor of The Originals , the numbers say the opposite. With only 0.3% of 18-49 year-olds, Julie Plec’s series is far behind the series of superheroes that make the chain’s success. Moreover, the announcement of the departure of Michael Narducci does not announce anything good. One can always console oneself with the idea that the audiences, although very low, are stable and that the chain may want to keep the series . Waiting to know if it will be renewed or not, you can still read our review of episode 7 of season 4 of The Originals , on melty. Which series should be saved according to you? And yes the meltynauts, while we were already eager to find the beautiful Brit Robertson at the head of the new Netflix series , a simply iconic actor of Under The Dome has just joined the cast of Girlboss . Launched on April 21, the show will be the occasion to bring together two essential characters of the adapted series of the novel of Stephen King . While Melty’s editor suggested you discover the date of Girlboss’s launch , it’s Dean Norris who is joining the extremely promising cast of the series today. Very convincing in his role of Big Jim in Under The Dome , no doubt that ” It will be a real asset for Girlboss . He will lend his features to Jay, the father of the heroine interpreted by Brit Robertson. The reunion promises to be warm! But we can certainly not say as much of the scenes that they will share on the screen since their father / daughter relationship should be very stormy.
As a reminder, the series will follow the story of Sophia Amoruso, a rebellious and anarchist girl who refuses to grow. She is however passionate about the possibility of selling vintage clothes online and will very quickly become a businesswoman like no other. While she is building a fashion empire, she will realize how rewarding and delicate she is of being her own boss . Produced by Charlize Theron, this series promises to send heavy and convince thousands of young girls around the world to embark on the dream of a lifetime. While waiting for more information, discover the first official photo promotion of the new series Netflix, Girlboss, on melty. What do you think of the arrival of Dean Norris?
The post Girlboss: Under The Dome’s iconic actor joins Brit Robertson in the cast of the Netflix series! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Like every Saturday, it’s time to take stock of the American audiences of your favorite series. So who’s on top, who makes a flop? Discover it now!
With the return of the series this week, it is also the return of the record of the hearings! Between returns, the launch of new seasons and new series, there have been many episodes aired on American channels in this first week of January. Sunday : This Sunday, FOX launched his new comedy, The Mick, and the least we can say is that this first episode is a success in terms of audiences since it was followed by 8,580,000 viewers, with a rate of 2.8% over 18-49 years . This makes the chain FOX in first place in the evening since Brooklyn Nine-Nine is just behind with its double episode which brought 3.49 million (1.3%). The launch of Ransom on CBS was not as bright, 6.65 million have seen the episode with only 0.8% of the target. Pure Genius is not better with 5.46 million curious and 0.7%. Conviction (2.06 million and 0.4%), The Royals (460,000 and 0.2%) and The Affair (480,000 and 0.1%) were also released.
Monday : Earlier this week, Shadowhunters made his comeback with his second season on Freeform . The episode was followed by 1.19 million fans with 0.4% of 18-49 year olds. It is a lower score than for its launch last year (1.81 million), but better than the audience of the final season (760,000). You can find our review of episode 1 of season 2 of Shadowhunters , on melty. Otherwise, only the series of CBS were faithful to the post Monday: Kevin Can Wait (7.36 million and 1.4%), 2 Broke Girls (5.88 million and 1.3%), Scorpion (7.37 million and 1.2%), Man With a Plan (6.55 million and 1.2%) and The Odd Couple (5.33 million and 1%).
Tuesday : Again, in the absence of This Is Us is NCIS dominating the evening of Tuesday, with 15.79 million of curious and a rate of 1.8% on the target. NCIS: New Orleans is far behind with 9.62 million and 1.2%. Regarding NBC Chicago PD returns steady with 7.89 million and 1.7%, while Chicago Fire is slightly lower (7.62 million and 1.6%). For their comeback, family comedies ABC Tuesday, The Middle (6.62 million and 1.7%), American Housewife (5.62 million and 1.6%), Fresh Off The Boat (4.37 million and 1.4%) and The Real O’Neals (3.29 million and 1%) are back on the rise.
If The Mick made a very good start Sunday on FOX, it can not be said of the second episode which was followed by only 3.37 million, more than 5 million people in less than the first series . In addition, it rose from a rate of 2.8% over 18-49 years to 1.3%. New Girl comes up with 2.48 million and 1.1%, while for episode 1 of the twelfth season, Bones collected 3.43 million (0.9%) or even lower for hearings Season 11. No Tomorrow brought together 510,000 people on the CW, with a rate of 0.2%. Finally, on MTV, Teen Wolf continues to lose fans with only 450,000 curious and 0.2% on the target.
Wednesday : This is ABC dominates Wednesday evening with his family comedies, Modern Family (7.57 million and 2.4%), The Goldbergs (6.73 million and 1.9%), Black-ish ( 5.79 million and 1.7%) and Speechless (5.75 million and 1.7%). The novelty of the FOX, Star stands just behind but is far less than Empire with 4.72 million and 1.6%. This is a sharp decline from the season premiere . On NBC, Chicago PD underperformed yesterday, this time with 6.30 million curious and 1.5%. The chain also proposed New York: Special Victims Unit (SVU) which was followed by 5.82 million people (1.5%) and Blindspot , followed by 5.14 million (1.1%). Frequency is always lower on the CW with only 670,000 fans and 0.2% on the target. Meanwhile, on cable, there was the return of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (730 000 0.4%) and Man Seeking Woman (240,000 and 0.1%) and new episodes of Vikings ( 2.37 million and 0.7%) and Salem (260,000 and 0.1%).
Thursday : There were 16.66 million viewers to episode 12 of season 10 of The Big Bang Theory and with a rate of 3.6%, we can say that this is a very good return for comedy CBS. The other sets of chain, The Great Indoors (9.67 million and 1.9%), Mom (8.46 million and 1.7%), Life in Pieces (6.71 million and 1.4%) and pure Genius (5.32 million and 0.8%), while benefiting from this momentum and are also a good back – up. The only other US channel broadcast series that night was NBC, including the return of The Good Place, which was followed by 3.55 million curious (1%) , Superstore (4.46 million and 1.2 %), Chicago Med (6.22 million and 1.2%) and The Blacklist (1%). What do you think ?
The post Shadowhunters, Vikings, The Big Bang Theory: The Record of US Hearings of the Week first appeared on The Siver Times.
