Black Panther: Who is Zuri, the character of Forest Whitaker?

Apparently very briefly in the trailer of Black Panther, Zuri, the character of Forest Whitaker immediately seemed to us quite mysterious. So who is it actually?
There were some crazy pictures in the black Panther’s trailer ! Between the waterfalls made by T’Challa ( Chadwick Boseman ), the stunning landscapes of the Wakanda and the presence of the impressive Dora Milaje, we took full the mirettes. So much so that some less flashy details at first a little escaped our attention. So start with the silhouette of Forest Whitaker, barely recognizable under its layer of make-up tribal, wrapped in a kind of purple dress of the most beautiful effect. Yet his character, who replied to the name of Zuri, appeared in a rather mysterious scene, Leaning on something – something that is perhaps related to the Mystic Grass from which Black Panther derives his powers? – and wrapped in smoke. Of what, inevitably, to ask a few questions, the main being: but who is Zuri? And well know, the meltynauts, that the character of Forest Whitaker does a little office … Obi-Wan of the film !
And yes, Zuri would actually be a kind of spiritual figure in charge of guiding T’Challa on the right track . Or, at least, as described by Ryan Coogler, the director of the film. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, following the dissemination of the trailer, the director explained : ” In a way, it represents a spiritual figure or a spiritual figure. Black Panther: The Powers of T’Challa Explained

The trailer of Black Panther proved to us that T’Challa was not to be taken lightly. But where does he get his powers? Ryan Coogler and Kevin Feige tell us a bit more.
If there is one thing that can not be blamed for the very first teaser trailer of Black Panther , it is to lack of striking images! Between two mind-blowing glimpses of the Wakanda and two appearances of the famous Dora Milaje, T’Challa, the eponymous hero of the film, gives us the full view by sending mercenaries and jumping from one car to another. And it’s without counting his costume that pushes the balls! If Black Panther will a priori not a film backgrounds – we have already seen the superhero donning his outfit in Captain America: Civil War – he will have us still says two or three small essentials. So start with the origin of his powers! Because yes, T’Challa may not be like Thor or Vision but he possesses rather impressive mystical abilities. And it is this grass that has allowed all Black Panther in Wakanda history to develop incredible physical abilities ! The director of the film clarifies a few points, pointing out to Entertainment Weekly: ” It is thanks to the Mystic Grass that Black Panther acquires his powers and can fight on equal terms with Cap, who is a super-soldier. Has a tenfold physical power and sharper instincts that give it improved abilities . ” In short, Black Panther is clearly not to be taken lightly! Then the wicked would do well to distrust. Of course, chances are that Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), who is part of the Black Panther trailer that should not be missed , Also uses the Mystic Grass. Black Panther: The trailer, 3 things to remember from the first pictures

The first trailer of Black Panther has just been unveiled. And here are the three things that must absolutely be remembered from these very first images!
Unless you live like hermits, you’ve certainly noticed it: Black Panther ‘s frenzied and intense trailer landed with great pomp, revealing the Wakanda and its extraordinary landscapes and allowing us to find T’Challa. If the superhero had impressed us in Captain America: Civil War , we are waiting to see what he is really capable of now that he is no longer surrounded by the rest of the Avengers and must fulfill his role as king. And to see him jumping on his opponents and jumping from one car to another, it is clear that Black Panther has lost nothing of his superb. But beyond that, the trailer of Ryan Coogler’s film allowed us to discover quite a few other elements that we were frankly curious to discover . So,
And the first thing you have to mention is of course … the Wakanda itself ! A mysterious country that hides its true wealth by pretending to be a Third World state like any other – Ulysse Klaue reveals that this is where the mythical El Dorado is – in fact, it combines ancestral tradition with advanced technological development. And the two features of the country are obviously in the trailer. One sees incredible waterfalls, a jungle imagined green, in which Black Panther takes a beating to a group of mercenaries, as well as huge cliffs covered with inhabitants dressed in very colorful outfits. And it’s without count Zuri, the character of Forest Withaker, A sort of guru with a painted face that seems to be plunged into a strange ritual! But, in counterpoint to this wild and mystical aspect, one discovers a city composed of hyper futuristic skyscrapers, that flies over a kind of jet that makes us terribly think of the Quinjet des Avengers. There is nothing to say, with this little glimpse, the Wakanda seems to be a fascinating country.

The other two elements that one must absolutely remember of the trailer of course concern the new characters! We see several times Erik Killmonger, the villain played by Michael B. Jordan, come to sow chaos in the life of T’Challa and within the Wakanda and who will perhaps stand next to Thanos in The Avengers: Infinity War . And the man looks really redoubtable! There is also great chance that it is he who will make Ulysses Klaue escape, which would tend to make us think that the rival of T’Challa will try to claim the help of the villain. This apparently will not prevent Erik from being captured by the Wakanda authorities and standing up against the Dora Milaje.
Because yes, the group of warriors who ultimately serve the king are obviously present in the trailer! One sees Lupita Nyong’o in the skin of Nakia, which is none other than the supposed love interest of T’Challa and who walks in what looks like a nightclub. But it is also the whole team that is discovered during a confrontation against Erik Killmonger . And if they fight with sticks and swords, they also possess much more sophisticated weapons, which we can not wait to see what they are capable of! You were waiting for him, he was there! The first teaser trailer of Black Panther has just landed on the web. And be careful, it is as explosive as it is intense!
He’s there ! Suddenly, when we did not expect, the Marvel studios decided to surprise us. As melty announced yesterday, a Black Panther poster was unveiled to mentally prepare us for the arrival of his very first teaser and thus to the first real images of the film. What can make our impatience climb all of a sudden! Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa was pretty cool – even very cool – in Captain America: Civil War , with his particularly successful costume and his quest for revenge. And it is without counting his nobility and his courage! So, inevitably, it made us want to learn more about him and follow him in his own solo adventure. Until now, Unfortunately, there was not much to put under the tooth side details about the plot and the characters. But that was before the announcement of the arrival of the first Black Panther teaser ! So, what does it look like, this long awaited video?
And boy, oh boy, it’s exciting ! Fueled and action-packed and new characters, served by a song of Run the Jewels that sends, the teaser trailer throws us directly into the mysterious Wakanda . It begins by introducing two familiar faces, namely Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) already seen in Captain America: Civil War , and the abominable Ulysse Klaue (Andy Serkis), who evoke the country of T’Challa. And from there, we see a deluge of extraordinary images that show us not only our superhero and his Dora Milaje in action, but also the spectacular – and sometimes very futuristic – landscapes of Wakanda. This one had already a little revealed on concepts of arts of Black Panther but, there, It is full of eyes! No wonder it hides the mythical El Dorado!
But the trailer also gives us the opportunity to find Black Panther himself, both in his costume as a king and as a superhero. And he has lost none of his presence or his abilities (this waterfall with the car … whoosh!)! We also know briefly with Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), his antagonist in the hairstyle rather wtf but with sharp daggers. And we take advantage of it to see Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira in their warrior dress. And apparently, they have nothing to envy their sovereign in terms of mastering combat skills! So certainly this teaser trailer does not teach us much about the plot of Black Panther , but it does give us all the same a desire: See more ! Black Panther: The official synopsis unveiled!

While the filming is just beginning, the Marvel studios have just unveiled the official synopsis of Black Panther. And it promises!
Spider-Man here and Spider-Man there … So yes, sure, Tom Holland caused a sensation when introduced in Captain America 3: Civil War , but it is not alone in having made his Beginnings. 3 Captain America: Civil War also made us get to know T’Challa, aka Black Panther. Played by Chadwick Boseman , it also made a good impression with the fans and we look forward to see the shine in his own solo film, expected for February 2018. And so far, we knew very little about the plot except few details given here and there by Chadwick Boseman and Lupita Nyong’o , aka Nakia, we will now be able to indulge in multiple theories since the official synopsis has been unveiled by Marvel studios .
