Since the fifth episode, the saga has become a real blockbuster of big arms partially abandoning car racing. The master word ? Enjoy the viewing of the spectators through realistic waterfalls. And if the latter seems so true, it’s that Fast and Furious 8 (whose deleted scene teased the spin-off of Jason Statham and The Rock) has a large part of it that are … real ! Jack Gill, Andy Gill, and Spiro Razatos, special effects coordinators, are behind this.
The three men explained to Thrillist what scenes were made without CGI. We warn you, we spoile a little if you have not seen Fast and Furious 8 (that works despite the absence of Paul Walker) . The scene in Germany with the demolition ball was real but required a lot of coordination. The latter was indeed rather dangerous. The introduction with the vehicle of Dom was also really filmed with real flames but that were diminished not to hurt the driver. That of the cars controlled by the character of Charlize Theron also although it took only one take for all the films to fall from the roofs. The passage on the pack ice is also real with real vehicles. In short, on this blow, the film was generous with its spectators ! It must be said that real special effects without CGI get much older … Did you like the stunts of the film?
The post Fast and Furious 8: Most of the stunts were real! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Wait to see the eighth part, The Fate of the Furious. We do not know how, but they managed to do something even more impressive! Flaming race (literally) in the streets of Cuba, a demolition ball that destroys everything in its path , a ballet of cars controlled at a distance that ends up in a sensational pile-up, chase on the ice with a gigantic nuclear submarine or Still battling with John Wick’s bare hands … Fast and Furious 8 is even more crazy, even more violent, even more boosted and even more spectacular , for the greatest pleasure of our eyes. Even for the villain, they managed to find more psychopath and dangerous than Jason Statham, and embodied by a woman who is more. In the role of Cipher, cyber-terrorist capable of hacking all the cars of a city, Charlize Theron is Machiavellian and detestable and clearly has nothing to envy the previous villains of the franchise.
Beyond this surge of adrenaline and this overbidding action, this new strand is different in many ways. Already, because we find Toretto on the side of the bad guys, confronting his own family. We know that it is not by will that Dom decides to betray his family , but it still brings his little dramatic side and even more when we learn why he did all that. One thing is for sure, after this story, Dom Toretto risks changing forever and the rest of the saga with . And that’s the first part since Paul Walker died. The film does not fail to do honor to him through a few references and a beautiful tribute to the end, but the air of nothing, its absence weighs on the film and the atmosphere is heavier. It will nevertheless note a good touch of humor, With a brilliant scene including Jason Statham and … well you’ll see it for yourself, we’re not going to tell you all! So, will you see it?
The post Fast and Furious 8: A new opus more boosted and darker, our critic! first appeared on The Siver Times.

It only takes a week to discover the eighth installment of the Fast and Furious saga, aka The Fate of the Furious . The impatience must be at its height for the fans of Vin Diesel and company, especially since it was discovered that Dom betrayed his family. As for the film as a whole, it looks even more crazy than the previous ones! You only have to see the budget to make up for the material damage of the filming to believe it! But what is really happening? The first critics have started coming out and the fans are reassured, they are rather positive! Peter Sciretta, of Slashfilm , for example, Said that The Fate of the Furious “takes the absurdity of the franchise to a whole new level, yet is yet very different. It should be a gigantic hit ” . In the same genre, Germain Lussier, from Gizmodo , describes the film as “crazy, fun and yet with a really different feeling . ” He added, “I laughed, I cried, I applauded . ” That promises!
Meanwhile, actor and screenwriter Eric Vespe “loved every second ridiculous, stupid, charming, absurd and funny The Fate of the Furious . ” However, there are not only good reviews! Jeff Sneider, of The Wrap , for example, finds that the franchise has lost its identity. “The Fate of the Furious has good action scenes but I think I may be a little too old for this franchise, which is not the same anymore ,” he said. Of course, without Paul Walker, nothing is the same, but to melty, we are rather confident. And then, Vin Diesel himself promised that Fast and Furious 8 should be great for Paul Walker , and one would not dare to doubt him when it comes to his late friend. Stay more than make our own opinion next week! And you what do you think ?
The post Fast and Furious 8: What do the first critics say? first appeared on The Siver Times.
