The Flash, Westworld, Orange is The New Black: Completely unexpected eliminations!

While the first phase of the 2017 World Cup is now over, many completely unexpected series have been eliminated. We make the point!
The parade of the losers! Yes, the meltynauts, if many series have managed to pass the very first stage of this 2017 World Cup, others have unfortunately not succeeded in convincing you and have therefore been eliminated. While melty’s editor suggested you discover which series were selected for the round of 16 , let’s come back together on all the shows we thought were untouchable and yet rolled!
The Flash
This is the big fall for the DC Comics show. Indeed, if Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow managed to make it into the round of 16, it is not the case of The Flash which is perhaps under the third set of reverses below the previous ones. It leaves its place at Stranger Things, a real phenomenon this year and at The Vampire Diaries which offered us its very last season this year. Big disappointment for all fans of The Flash who hoped to see her brandishing the trophy.
Westworld
The HBO show did not last very long in the competition and it is quite unexpected given the success it has met with the public. New, fresh and disconcerting, Westworld had managed to attract the favors of the greatest number thanks to an original, complex and deep pitch. If she has not managed to go further, we can imagine that it is because it has stopped being broadcast a few months and that its second season will not be launched before 2018. Orange is The New Black
The Netflix series had almost managed to beat Arrow in the first round but it was not enough. Fans of the green archer awoke to the very last second offering him a great victory. Prison Break
Yes, the meltynauts, we put a lot on the Revival of Prison Break. Like that, even a limited season is not guaranteed to please the greatest number. Will she have a chance to go further next year? Probably ! While the season 4 of The Flash will not be broadcast until next October, return on the three best episodes of season 3!
We take stock! Yes, the meltynauts, if the third one of the show has sometimes been uneven, the fact remains that several episodes have marked us enormously. While the series will unfortunately not return before the re-entry on the CW , it’s time to go back on the episodes that have transported this year . While Melty was writing to find out who could play DeVoe in Season 4 of The Flash with Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries) or Keegan Allen (Pretty Little Liars) , here are our top 3 episodes of the season !
3 / Cause and Effect (3×21)
This episode marked a small pause in the heavy intrigue between Savitar and The Flash. If it served essentially to delay the confrontation of the two enemies, it had the merit to offer us a good breath of fresh air just before the last two episodes much more serious. It must be said that we laughed on discovering that Cisco had erased Barry’s memory by accident and that the latter now had a blissful air and a lightness that was unfamiliar to him. Under the frivolous surroundings, this episode showed us the path traveled by our hero who seemed to finally accept his suffering and move on. Above all, we realized that even if Barry was happy, he was unfortunately the Barry we knew and loved.
2 / Paradox (3×02)
If the Season premiere had somewhat disappointed the fans, the second episode was very intense. We discovered the new Timeline created by our hero and it was clear that he had put a damn mess in the lives of his relatives. For the first time, Barry appeared as the villain of his own story, who had not hesitated to show selfishness by bringing his mother back without worrying about the consequences this might have had on his friends. And we can say, nothing was like before . Between Caitlin’s powers, the death of Cisco’s brother, Caitlin’s powers, and so on, Barry became aware of his mistakes. But “Paradox” was also an opportunity to learn more about the Doctor Alchemy.
1 / The Once and Future Flash (3×19)
In this episode, Barry decided to take charge and go in the future to learn more about Savitar. There, he found Cisco, Killer Frost and a version of himself completely defeated since the death of Iris. Very moving, “The Once and Future Flash” was mostly marked by an exceptional performance by Grant Gustin who played with himself for most of the episode. Moreover, it is always interesting to explore new eras and this time, Barry managed to give hope to his friends but especially to himself. A very well orchestrated episode! While the season 4 of The Flash will not be broadcast until October on the CW, here are 5 questions we ask about the sequel!

They are already missing! Yes, the meltynauts, it is only a few weeks that the series focused on the fastest man in the world has granted his summer break but we are already very nostalgic. It must be said that this third chapter ended on a real cliffhanger and that we are very intrigued by the possibilities left open for a fourth season which will unfortunately not be broadcast until next October. While Melty’s editor suggested finding out if Eddie would soon be back in Season 4 of The Flash , let’s get back together on the main issues we are facing following a spectacular Season Finale
1- Will Wally become the hero of the show?
This is the great theory that is currently circulating on networks. Indeed, in the comics, when Barry retires in the Speed Force, it leaves its place of The Flash to Wally which then defends Central City for about twenty years. While the episode 21 of season 3 of The Flash was broadcast last night on the CW, let’s come back together on the main events that marked “Cause and Effect”!
Wait, whaaaat? And yes the meltynauts, as we approach the Season Finale and the Savitar mystery was finally solved last night on the American network, it is nevertheless difficult to understand with ease where the Big Bad of the season comes from. According to explanations at the beginning of the episode, the Barry of the future would be one of the vestiges of the past created by Barry that we met in episode 19 in order to stop Savitar. Once Savitar was imprisoned in the Speed Force, the temporal remains were left out and he decided to go back in time to kill Iris, the only way to push Barry to embrace the darkness and thus become Savitar. In short, it is a closed cycle that repeats itself, Infinite and of which one knows neither the beginning nor the end but which seriously hurts the head. For if the Barry of the Future is cruel, eager for power and broken inwardly, the fact remains that a part of it echoes our Barry of the present. Can our hero stop his destiny? While episode 20 of season 3 of The Flash has just been broadcast on the CW, back on the main events that have marked “I Know Who Are You”!
Finally ! And yes the meltynauts, after months of waiting and questioning, the identity of Savitar has finally been revealed in an episode simply crazy. Whether one is a terribly passionate fan or a mere casual amateur of the series, impossible to remain marble facing this revelation as expected as fear. Never before had The Flash brought us so much from a classic episode to a crucial and devilish episode. Let’s face it, the CW’s flagship series reached an incredible level last night and we love it! While Melty’s editor suggested you discover our criticism of Season 3 episode 19 of The Flash , let’s go back to the main events that marked ” Killer Frost had difficulty performing his mission . Indeed, the young woman stays on the reserve not succeeding in letting her evil look-alike take full control. A saving hesitation which proves that it is perhaps still time to save it.
For their part, our heroes traced Tracy Brand, a scientist rejected by his companions. Indeed, his theories about speedsters make everyone laugh and everyone thinks they have to make a furious madman. But we know how important it is to save Iris and the future. We already knew but The Flash has this undeniable ability to touch you deep inside your being and last night it proved it once again plunging our Barry 2017 into a heartbreaking confrontation with the one it will be in eight years . While Melty’s editorial tells you that Barry will be traveling in the future and meet his older version in the 19th episode of The Flash’s Season 3 , let’s get back to the details of “The Once and Future Flash” Broadcast last night on the CW . But more intelligent than ever, the gorilla understood everything from their stratagem and decided to take possession of Joe’s body in order to prevent Barry from attacking him. And we’re not going to lie, seeing Harry lying shamelessly about his state of health in order to keep his daughter close to him was also a tasty scene. We would have loved that the father of Jesse decides to stay also on Earth-1 as his character had missed us. Moreover, the beautiful Gypsy ended up allying with our Team and it was by a passionate kiss that she left again Earth-1 . No doubt we should see it again and this is great news. Alchemy is really the rendezvous between Cisco and the pretty brunette and our favorite geek deserves to finally meet true love. In short, this new episode has conquered us by his good humor and his dose of love. Rather transitory, he was preparing us gently for the return of Savitar, which promises to be devastating. While the season 3 release of The Flash continues on the CW, and if anyone other than Iris was destined to die in the next episodes?
Another victim? And yes the meltynauts, our whole team is now focused on one and only thing: to save Iris from Savitar. Ever since Barry took a turn in the future and discovered that the woman of his life was going to be killed by the Big Bad of the new season, we were all persuaded that Savitar’s prophecy was applied to her. Yet the most spectacular twist would see Barry struggling with all his might to save Iris even though another of his loved ones would be the most threatened. For every action has its consequence especially regarding the Timeline . By preventing the death of Iris, Barry might well precipitate that of someone else. While the editorial ‘of melty proposed to discover all there was to know about the rest of the season 3 of The Flash , who could die instead of Iris? If Caitlin had complicated moments especially because of the terrible Killer Frost sleeping in her, we had a hard time believing that the young woman could die. Present since the very first season, the lady is a formidable friend and her talent is an absolute asset for the Team. Especially as the opportunity to return Killer Frost is an incredible challenge to provide good storyline viewers . In our eyes, Caitlin could be more the one who “betrays” Barry than the one who will die during the season. But then, will Cisco be next on the list?
We doubt it so much the young man grew up over the episodes. Become a real superhero and ready to seduce the beautiful Gypsy, Cisco has been widely developed by writers. With such potential, he still has a lot to offer us. However, one never knows since his death would be a real shock to the fans. What to mark the spirits! Nevertheless, the death of HR Wells would be much more credible. After all, the novelist was present during the death of Iris. And this week I decided to come back to an inevitable phenomenon on American television: the reign of superheroes. If Marvel makes a sensation in the cinema, DC Comics dominates on American television. In a world where you always have to go into huts, the superheroes honor their distinctions. Love it or hate it, there is no denying that these series transmit essential values and who we can find an echo in each of us . With powerful ingredients and ever more loyal fans, success should be there for a few more years.
