Just yesterday, we learned that the Huawei Watch 2 and the Apple Watch Series 2 enjoyed nice discounts . And today, we find the Samsung Gear S3 Classic and Frontier at a small price at the operator Orange. The latter offers these smartwatch with no less than 100 euros reduction . Without further ado, discover these tempting offerings that should not be missed!
The Gear S3 Classic will allow you to pay without contact thanks to the NFC and MST technologies. A true personal assistant, the Gear S3 represents the balance between smartwatch and fitness tracker. Marketed at 399 euros, it is available by ICI to 299 euros thanks to an ODR. As for the Gear S3 Frontier that I already tested at the editorial , it throws. More masculine with its adventurous look, this connected watch enjoys the same promotion, here . So, you prefer that?
The post Good deal, the Samsung Gear S3 Classic and Frontier enjoy 100 euros off! first appeared on The Siver Times.

The proof ? Samsung has just risen to second place by taking 12.8% of the shares of this market before Fitbit (12.2%) but still far behind Apple, according to a report of Strategy Analytics. This progression of Samsung is explained above all by the success of the Gear S3, the last connected watch of the Korean giant . But despite the big progression of Samsung which has seen its operating system surpass Android Wear in term of user, Apple remains irrattrapable. And meltyStyle explains why!
At the time these lines are written, Apple occupies oklm the first place with 53% of the market share. If we look at the figures for the first quarter of 2017, Apple still leads the way with 16% of total delivered products. Xiaomi and Fitbit finished second and third respectively with 15.5 and 12.3%. And as you should know, the Apple Watch is always the queen of watches connected . Well then, what do you think of this Samsung progression?
The post Connected Objects: Fitbit loses points, Samsung takes advantage under the eyes of Apple! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Running Android Wear 2.0, the Huawei Watch 2 is compatible with iOS, which places it as a potential rival of the Apple Watch Nike +. But what are the advantages and disadvantages of these watches connected? Answers in these next lines!
More sporting than its elder, the Huawei Watch 2 has something to compete with the Apple Watch Series 2 or the Nike + version of the watch. Although both manufacturers have different approaches in the wrist world connected, I decided to oppose their watches. Given that the Huawei Watch 2 offers great features in sports tracking, can it shade the latest Apple Watch that is considered by many to be the best watch connected to the market ? Discover my smartwatch comparison that highlights the strengths and weaknesses of these products.
Design
The thickness of the Huawei Watch is one of its main weaknesses
At my wrist, the Apple Watch Nike + throws. But if you hoped for a round watch, it is dead, the Apple loves things square. Its 1.5-inch OLED display offers good brightness and is more powerful than the first generation of the Apple Watch (340 x 272 pixels). On the side of the watch of Huawei, one is entitled to a screen AMOLED of 1.2 inches displaying 390 x 390 pixels. Its round design is pretty cool but, I regret that the watch is quite thick. Heavier than the Apple Watch, the Huawei Watch 2 visually gives the impression that the ring and dial are not fixed. But in reality, this is not the case. The crown does not move, which is really a shame for a watch under Android Wear.
The Huawei Watch 2 is much larger than the Apple Watch Series 2
Unlike the Apple Watch Series 2 and Nike +, which are available in two sizes (38 and 42 mm), the connected watch of the third smartphone manufacturer in the world is only available in 45 mm. Although this is not a problem for most guys, those who have the (bad) chance of having very fine wrists will find that Huawei’s proposal is too big for them . But it is probably the use of the watch that interests you the most. And at that level, there is a lot to say.
Navigation
Thanks to the digital crown (rotary knob) of the Apple Watch, one can easily navigate between the different apps. On the Huawei Watch, there is no digital crown but only two buttons: one allows to activate Google Assistant and the other facilitates the access to the apps recently used. This is how the watch headed, in my eyes, won this first battle focused on design and navigation . But in terms of technical data, which watch is the most muscular? Check out the answer below!
Characteristics
Equipped with a dual-core S2 processor, the Apple Watch Nike + is more powerful than the first Apple Watch. With GPS, waterproofing is the big novelty of this connected watch that allows you to geolocate even when you are away from your smartphone. On the Huawei side, we bet on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 chip. The main asset of this processor is to enable 4G connectivity, which gives freedom to the Huawei Watch 2. And above all, it can be used independently of A smartphone . Thanks to its GPS, its 4G antenna and its nano SIM port, the Huawei Watch 2 is a kind of smartphone compressed in the format of a watch . In short, you can make and receive calls with the Huawei Watch 2 ,
Autonomy
While Apple believes that its latest Apple Watch can ensure a day of use, I could easily hold two days with the connected watch when I was not touching the Activity and Exercise apps (which really make me move). On the Huawei side, there is an expectation of an average of 2 days. But these figures do not really mean much, when we know that the lifetime of the battery depends primarily on our way of using it.
Verdict
Everything seems better thought about the second generation of the Apple Watch that gains in efficiency thanks to watchOS 3. But to intimacy perfection, Apple must review the autonomy of its watch connected and improve the role of its digital crown . Finally, I personally hope that the next Apple Watch will opt for a round design but hey, it’s like wanting to stop the waves with his hands: unnecessary. As for the Huawei Watch 2, she is still as beautiful as her eldest son, but she progresses enormously in the sport . However, it is not yet the queen of the smartwatch because of its screen too small (strongly the arrival of the borderless screens in watches connected) and the absence of rotating crown.
The post Apple Watch Nike +, Huawei Watch 2: The strengths and weaknesses of these watches connected first appeared on The Siver Times.

But Samsung and Huawei have recently proven that being a compulsive buyer is not necessarily a good thing . As for the Korean giant who recently launched its Galaxy S8 and S8 +, the error is justly unforgivable after the fiasco of the Galaxy Note 7. For the moment, the new flagships are not the victims of major bugs. But a red veil appeared on some screens of the S8 and S8 +. At the latest news, Samsung has launched an update that fixes this problem. But it does not end there …
Other compulsive buyers or early adopters also encounter problems with fast charging of the Galaxy S8 and S8 +. We still do not know if it is a software bug or a hardware problem but, Samsung should not be slow to react. Finally, the Galaxy S8 + that we could test to the editorial staff is not really the one that was discovered during the presentation of the Korean. At a time when these lines are written, Bixby, the new assistant of Samsung, is still absent from the European market whereas the manufacturer has just dedicated to him a special button on his new smartphones. As for the Huawei P10, the choice of components has raised the anger of Chinese consumers.
The Chinese giant who offered himself the image of Anthony Griezmann in France has confessed that he did not have a sufficient stock of components to meet the demand around his P10 and P10 Plus. But instead of risking a lower than expected sales figure, Huawei has supplied its new products with other components that would be less good . As a result, some Huawei P10 are less fast than others. So you understood. Before buying the smartphone of your dreams, it will take a little patience …
The post Huawei P10, Samsung Galaxy S8: No need to complain, if you are a compulsive buyer! first appeared on The Siver Times.

The Huawei Watch 2 spent two weeks in my hands. I was able to test this new connected watch which can do without a smartphone as well seems and here is the time of the verdict.
After seducing smartwatch enthusiasts with its Huawei Watch, the Chinese manufacturer decided to continue the wrist adventure connected in 2017. Equipped with the latest technologies, the Huawei Watch 2 regaled me . Light despite its thickness, independent despite its format, the new connected watch of Huawei throws. She successfully completed all the steps of my test . But is this Watch 2 truly revolutionary compared to its big sister? Does it bring real added value? I will try to answer it in the next few lines.
Aesthetically, Huawei radically changed its Watch 2, compared to the Watch Classic. If the first generation of Huawei’s connected watch was distinguished with its leather strap and metal dial, the new generation is more sporty, more masculine. Featuring a lightweight silicone bracelet and a metallic and plastic frame, the Huawei Watch 2 is easy to wear . But if the Huawei smartwatch visually gives the impression that the ring and the dial are not fixed, it is not. In reality, the crown does not move. Which makes it difficult to navigate the system, as you will see. To finish with the negative sides of the design of this new watch connected, I must mention its size.
The thickness of the Huawei Watch 2 has nothing to do with the finesse of an Apple Watch but this is due to the fact that all the components of this watch are housed in different places compared to other smartwatches. Weight level, the Watch 2 is even lighter than its elder who was nevertheless less muscular. And even if the screen of the Huawei Watch 2 is small enough (a strong impression with the big ring), Android Wear 2.0 draws the best from this connected watch . The icons are large and the information is clearly legible. To navigate the Huawei Watch 2, there is no question of using the ring that is fixed. No, everything is done on the finger. At first, I had a little trouble getting out but after a dozen interactions,
And thanks to its light sensor that adapts to all conditions, the Huawei Watch 2 adapts to all lighting conditions . The colors are glowing, the rendering is really wow. The new “dock” of the watch, which is accessed by pressing the first side button, allows me to easily access the apps and it’s really cool. And Android Wear 2.0 allows you to enjoy a drawer of quicker settings more accessible and organized. But what is really stupid on this connected watch is its independent side. Available in 3 versions, the Huawei Watch 2 is offered in a model that can be equipped with a nano SIM or e-Sim integrated. These two versions can push you to leave your smartphone at home!
As Huawei France’s marketing director summarized so well, “when you run with the Huawei Watch 2, you do not need your smartphone anymore . ” Even better, both SIM and e-SIM versions can send messages or make calls , even if your smartphone is not within reach. Basically, these versions of the Huawei Watch 2 turn into a kind of smartphone at the wrist. And the cherry on the cake, the autonomy of the new connected watch of the third smartphone manufacturer in the world is better than that of his big sister.
The battery lasts two days in normal use (like responding to SMS with short pre-recorded answers or, to use simple features like alarm). If you put on the watch so that it becomes the best ally for your sports sessions, its battery will not hold the day. But good, it can still do without charge for 10 hours . Let us hope that the next generation enjoys greater autonomy. Oh yeah, I was forgotten. The Huawei Watch 2 can also display the time, number of steps (and basta) in a “Clock” mode that resembles an extreme energy-saving spell.
The new Huawei Watch is still a beautiful kid but is making good progress on the sport. Even if it gets wet, it can accompany us from morning to night. A bigger screen would have helped to establish itself as a gadget that would make us crack every time. But personally, I’m already seduced. This connected watch is one of the best things I’ve tested. And it is not for nothing that she has already won several prestigious awards. If you want to get it , it’s by HERE that it happens .
The post Test: 15 days with the Huawei Watch 2, the connected watch that will push you to zap your smartphone! first appeared on The Siver Times.

But if the new Korean smartphone has enough to shade the iPhone 7 with certain features, its camera is not necessarily an asset . This is probably the thing that has evolved least compared to the Galaxy S7. If the manufacturer explained to have improved the algorithm of treatment of the photos, it “regrets” that the Galaxy S8 is equipped with the same sensor and the same optics that benefited the S7 which is, nevertheless, one of the best photophones of the market.
With the camera of the Galaxy S8, Samsung probably will not do better than the iPhone 7 and especially the iPhone 7 Plus whose dual-sensor photo and optical-digital zoom continues to make happy . It is clear that the future owners of the Galaxy S8 will not be disappointed with this camera. But given the quality and power of this Device , we would have hoped for a small revolution on the photo side. In any case and apart from its camera, the new smartphone of Samsung has enough to make you zap the terminal headed, waiting for the presentation of the iPhone of 2017
The post IPhone 7: That’s why its camera is better than the Samsung Galaxy S8 first appeared on The Siver Times.

The Nokia 3310 version 2017 has nothing to do with its elder who was born almost seventeen years ago. This new phone is a real joke for the nostalgic . Featuring a 2.4-inch color LCD screen, the new Nokia 3310 is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera and a microSD memory card reader. And as hoped, autonomy is always its strong point . The Nokia 3310 can provide 25 days in standby and 22 hours in calls, just that. We had the opportunity to take it in hand, play a little Snake and test his camera, here are our impressions!
Getting Started
Small and compact, the new Nokia 3310 can be handled easily . Its new, finer keys are effective for quick manipulation. But overall, the Nokia 3310 smells good cheap plastic. The phone that was known for its robustness can break quickly.
Snake
Like the 3310, the famous game Snake has been modernized . Developed by Gameloft, this Snake in color offers us to play with a personified snake. After having “lost” hours making 90 ° turns, having fun with this colorful reptile is a true joke for purists. Like the other, it was better before!
Camera
Considering its new display, the Nokia 3310 has a 2 megapixel camera coupled with an LED flash . Well, this camera can not be compared to the most accessible sensors on the market but, it has deserved to exist. Besides, you’re not going to take selfies with this phone, do you?
Network
Compatible with 2G, the Nokia 3310 may soon be unusable . When operators resume these frequencies to develop the 3G / 4G / 5G, the newborn HMG Global and Nokia may end up in a trash. And that’s a shame! But otherwise, it will be necessary to wait until the second quarter 2017 to shopper the new 3310 to 49 euros !
The post Nokia 3310: Snake, Autonomy, camera, network … A phone that serves no purpose or almost! first appeared on The Siver Times.

The wireless headsets have (re) become trendy. And this type of equipment continues to develop, like the MDR-1000X from Sony which rivals the famous Bose QuietComfort 35. In addition to its well-designed design, the new helmet of the Japanese manufacturer mixes, with Brio, robustness, lightness and flexibility. Equipped with thick pads, the MDR-1000X (which is available in beige and black colors) easily adapts to all body types . But it’s probably its noise reducer, simple to use and effective, which really impressed us.
The Sony MDR-1000X delivers high battery life (more than 24 hours) and a highly efficient outdoor noise reduction system, especially in public transit. His listening outside without noise reduction function is really cool and the ability to control the music is via a touch area on the helmet has a magical thing. In short, everything is good to justify buying this headset noise reduction . Only black dot for this headphone that officially costs 400 euros, the lack of treble and an application to control the sound from the smartphone. Let me now compare it to the Bose QuietComfort 35 …
Unlike the MDR-1000x, noise reduction can not be disabled on the Bose QC35. Level of comfort, the helmet of Sony has nothing to envy that of Bose. At meltyStyle, we just regret that its pads are not removable. In summary, the MDR -1000X is a great Bluetooth headset with good sound quality and excellent battery . If its features are enough to overshadow the Bose QuietComfort 35, its higher price (400 euros against 380 for the Bose headphones) is a barrier to purchase. Hopefully Sony will see it again soon!
The post Sony MDR-1000X, the true competitor of the Bose QuietComfort 35! first appeared on The Siver Times.

If the smartphone of Apple was more efficient on certain aspects, among which the restitution of the colors or the sharpness, it was made to catch up by the Chinese device on other points, like the management of the luminosity. But the direct competitor of the iPhone 7 Plus is not the Honor 6X, but rather the Huawei Mate 9 officialized last November. This is why we had the idea to compare the portrait mode of the two phablettes, also called bokeh effect. We will let you discover the result of our test before proceeding to its analysis.
As you can see, the rendering is different depending on the smartphone used for portrait mode. With the iPhone 7 Plus, the background is very slightly gummed, which brings a fairly natural effect. The subject is enhanced with subtlety, but one can easily distinguish what is behind him . With the Huawei Mate 9, winner of the CES , the blur is significantly higher. Everything is done so that the person captured is the only one to be put forward, and it works. The only problem is that we have the impression that the elements of the decor have been camouflaged, rather than gummed. You understood, the bokeh effect is different between smartphones from Apple and Huawei . But it is clear that they both have their qualities. And you prefer what?
The post IPhone 7 Plus vs. Huawei Mate 9: We compared the portrait mode of both smartphones! first appeared on The Siver Times.

Sales of the range area have never been so positive and this is due to disappointment with the MacBook Pro 2016, according to the Redmond

All is well for Microsoft and nothing works at Apple. That’s certainly what we believe qu’aimerait the Redmond company which, through a note from her marketing manager, decided to return to the success of the range area. With great promotions during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the Microsoft Surface sell very easily. Well, nothing yesterday, the Surface Pro 4 was offered at a reduced price from a dealer . And to the chagrin of Apple, Apple Addict discontent at the presentation of the 2016 MacBook Pro would have played in favor of the area. Also according to Microsoft, some consumers from Apple would have squarely decided to switch the computer headed to the area …

The Surface Pro 4 would sell better with the MacBook Pro 2016
According to Brian Hall, marketing manager of Microsoft products, “there has never been so many people who have left the area for Mac. Our exchange program for MacBook has never worked as well, wonder at the innovation area added to the disappointment with the new MacBook Pro especially in professionnels- pushed more and more people switcher to Surface ” . At meltyStyle, we do not really know whether to believe the letter about the marketing manager in his ticket but it is clear that the war of computers has not said its last word. If not, you can beautify your MacBook with a custom cable , if you feel you.
The post The Microsoft Surface sell better thanks to the MacBook Pro 2016 first appeared on The Siver Times.
